Description of Work: I really can't rate them on Performance since they never answered any of the emails sent to their Website. So, they receive a C because they never responded which shows me a lack of professionalism on their part.

Description of Work: Cut down two large trees and Ted several others. Took away all debris.

Description of Work: Cut down 30 foot tree hit by lightning. Came in and got the job done. No trace of the tree left. Not even a branch or twig. Quick coming right out after I called for an estimate.

Description of Work: I couldn't be more satisfied. After one trunk of my 3-trunk Laurel oak fell, I called hoping that the rest of the tree could be saved. Arborist Steve Day came out a few hours after I called. Unfortunately, the tree was diseased and put my family and home in danger. He gave me a bid and encouraged me to get others before committing, as tree removal of this magnitude does not come cheap. He cautioned me to move quickly though. I contacted some other companies who were a little pushy and the bids were all the same. I contacted Steve at 8pm asking how quickly his team could do the job. He called me back within 20 min and had already made arrangements to be at my house early the next morning. Despite an impending tropical storm, they arrived at 7:30 the next day as promised with the hope that they could secure the tree from causing damage to my home. They raced against the weather and were able to get the job done in a day. Their team is a well-oiled machine with big boy equipment. I noticed 2 other tree removal companies in the neighborhood who were working with a pick up and a rope. My yard was left spotless. I am not a pushover and recommend this company very highly!

Description of Work: I was very impressed with Gulf Coast Tree Care from the very first encounter to the end of the job. Steve even came back later, at no cost, to answer further questions about care for additional trees. The entire crew was punctual, professional, and pleasant. Darren even gave me some advice about the leak under my 1997 Tahoe! I am a complete novice about tree care and felt in good hands with knowledgeable people. Additionally, when the job was done, there was no evidence in the yard that they had even been there, except for nicely pruned trees. A four star outfit! Use them when you need them!

Description of Work: We had two aging oaks in need of extra care. Gulf Coast Tree Care came out and cleaned up the trees and fertilized the area around the trunks.

Description of Work: We had a large oak tree in our backyard split. After contracting with another company on only the cleanup of debris in our yard and on our neighbor's roof, we wanted to go with an arborist to bid out the remaining work, interviewed several tree services found in Angie's List for the actual evaluation of what remained of our tree, along with an assessment of another half dozen oaks on our property. Gulf Coast Tree Care won the bid, taking down the remainder of the large oak, along with another dead oak in the back yard, trimming several other oaks, and arranging for a tree stump grinding. The quality and professionalism of this company were noteworthy, and documented in the "member comments" section of this report. I will be using them again for annual checks and maintenance of my remaining oaks.

Description of Work: Removed 4 trees and trimmed 3 other trees. Hauled off all trees or shredded as appropriate.

Description of Work: A Live Oak in our front yard was elevated and balanced. Improper pruning cuts were fixed and dead growth was removed. Also, a large Canary Island Date Palm was removed and the stump ground for a replant. All debris was removed and hauled. The sidewalks and driveway were cleaned. A certified arborist was on site to supervise. Before starting, one of the crew volunteered to dig up four existing landscape plants so they would not be damaged when removing the palm.

Description of Work: Gulf Coast Tree Care evaluated the trees in our yard, recommended cutting down two completely dead trees and pruned the other trees in our yard so they wouldn't threaten the house during hurricane season.
