"Thank you for your feedback and favorable Angies List review! It's always nice to hear back from happy customers. Please, if there's ever anything we can help you with in the future we'd like to continue to earn your business. Best Regards - Bill & David"
"My name is David and I am the technician referred to in this review. I’d like to start by apologizing to him for what ever I did that caused him to form this opinion. I have to admit though it’s very upsetting for me to try so hard to help someone just to have such an accusatory and a worst case assumptive review posted about you. In my defense I’d like to point out a few facts. #1 This house is quite literally a gated fortress with extensive video surveillance and generally speaking not the ideal place for a con-artist to try and pull a fast one… #2 The majority of the time I spent here was working with and directly under the supervision of Mr. Myers’s own maintenance man. Whom I should point out was far more familiar with the house and couldn’t find the problem either. Now at this point its important to understand that this house has had extensive modifications and its electrical system is far from conventional. Additionally, his own review states that the circuit breaker for the downstairs system was found upstairs. #3 I’d like to point out that not only did Bloomingdale Air respond promptly to a service call back. But also, I did not charge him for the return trip or the 2 hours I spent on a completely different system with an unrelated electrical problem that was plausibly either caused unintentionally by the previous company or unknowingly caused by the maintenance man prior to our arrival… #4 Additionally I’d like to go on record by stating that I did not at any time recommend that we “Hit him up for a bunch of hours looking for an electrical problem” But I did suggest that he may have to call an electrician because this was not an air conditioning problem and we’re not electricians. #5 Now, I realize that the company to follow probably stirred the “proverbial pot” in an effort to look like the “Hero”. But at no time did he indicate any misunderstanding and I can assure everyone that had he I would had gone above and beyond to clear up any misconceptions… In closing, I was genuinely concerned with his dilemma and I even followed up with a courtesy call a few days later. And while I don’t understand his justifications for writing such an accusatory and worst case assumptive review his frustrations are apparent to me now and for any part I had in that I sincerely apologize… David Peralta Service Technician Bloomingdale Air CAC057970"
"I truly wish I understood what I did to deserve Mr. (member name removed) review… - Mr. (member name removed) called at 11:16 AM on August 12 and spoke with our receptionist Elena. - Mr. (member name removed) requested a free estimate to replace his air conditioning system and left his contact information as well as his cell phone number if calling after 4pm. - I set a reminder on my calendar to call Mr. (member name removed) after 4 pm on his cell phone. - At 3:27 of the same day Mr. (member name removed) called again and I soon realized that I had misread the message when I believed I was to call him on his cell phone after 4 pm. - At this time I decided I would work him into that days already busy schedule and I would make him my last call of the day. We set an approximate time for arrival at 7 pm. - At 7 pm I called Mr. (member name removed) and ask if he would mind rescheduling for the following day since he was not without air and because I had (2) customer who were without air conditioning. We agreed to meet the following day at 4 pm. Mr. (member name removed) statement in his review that “he probably wanted to go home” couldn’t had been further from the truth… I worked until 11 pm that night and was praised by (2) families for saving their night… The last one of which was a fellow co-worker of Mr. (member name removed) at McDill AFB. Please understand I am a very small business owner and in the summer I work 7 days a week and typically work until 10 or 11 pm… I try very hard and usually at my families expense to take care of everyone I can and as soon as I can… - The following day Aug 13th just prior to arrival for our 4 pm appointment I called Mr. (member name removed) to let him know I was almost there and to please call the front gate to River Hills so I could gain access. - Mr. (member name removed) sounded perturbed and told me to forget it and that he had found someone else… - I apologized for not have been able to help him and we spoke for a few minutes as I offered some advice on what to look for when purchasing an air conditioner as well as answering a few of Mr. (member name removed) questions. - Upon hanging up I felt our conversation ended on a good note… - I am truly dumbfounded by just how angry Mr. (member name removed) is at me… Upon further research I did find that Mr. (member name removed) did call my personal cell phone twice during the day of Aug 13 but left no voicemails… Mr. (member name removed), I sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding, inconvenience, or frustration I caused you… It was not deliberate or disrespectful it was a misunderstanding I am truly sorry… Kind Regards, Bill Carver Bloomingdale Air CAC057970"
"With the advice of our Angies List representative we’ve decided to embrace this complaint and use it as an example to showcase our attention to the details. (by taking this moment to share an embarrassment We hope to show our potential clients to know that we are accountable and that we do care about the work we do and the people we serve. By taking a moment to address this the small our appreciation The Complaint, “My wife called Bloomingdale Air because our home a/c went out. She got an answering machine so left a message. A technician called back and left a message with my wife who promptly returned his call only to get the answering machine again. After, she heard nothing from BlooMingdale Air despite repeated attempts to contact them again. POOR AND UNPROFESSIONAL FOLLOW-UP! Will never call them again!” The Facts, - [member name removed] called Bloomingdale Air on Thursday April 11, 2013 at 10:59:47AM and had a 2:00 minute conversation with our receptionist Desiree. At which time she provided her contact information and a description of her air conditioning problem. - Myself the owner not a technician promptly returned her call and left a voicemail with my personal mobile phone number as an additional contact. - On Friday April 12, 2013 at 11:10AM [member name removed] returned my call not to the office but to my personal mobile phone. I was unavailable and she left a voicemail. - I promptly returned her call and left another voicemail. This was the last I would hear from [member name removed]. - On Sunday April 14th I was notified by Angie’s list that [member name removed] left us a review that can only be described as unfounded and unfair. -No services were ever preformed for the [member name removed]. Our Response, I empathize with [member name removed] and given the circumstances I would have bent over backward to help. I understand how unsettling it can be when you come home from a long day to a hot house. And I understand how frustrating it must be trying to get your air conditioner fixed when every contractor in state is quite literally overwhelmed by the first long week of record heat. What I don’t understand is why the [member name removed] decided to so hastefully lash out at someone who sincerely wanted to try and help them. I truly wish this situation would have worked out differently but it’s difficult to complain about poor and unprofessional follow up when the owner offered his personal mobile phone number… Bloomingdale Air has been awarded the Tampa Tribunes Best of Brandon for 2009 and 2011. Given the relatively small size of our customer base I personally feel this is an amazing accomplishment and a testament to the relationship we have with our clients."
