Air It Cool - Heating & Air Conditioning

I could not be more disappointed with this company. They installed a brand new HVAC unit for the previous homeowners last year. Shortly after buying the house mold began growing on the supply box of the indoor unit. I had another company come out who informed me that the unit was not installed correctly and we were losing air all around the supply box causing condensation and mold. They recommended having the installer (Air it Cool) come out to fix their mistake since rebuilding the supply box would be about $600. When I finally got them out here, they did a sloppy job and it still has condensation and water running down the front of the unit. Right after they left, the unit stopped working completely. We called them and they refused to come back out without charging me and it wouldn’t have even been same day. I was told “just because we touched it last, doesn’t mean we broke it”. Umm yea you did. I was then called “an uneducated homeowner” because I didn’t know where the drain is on the system. So unprofessional and rude. I had to have another company come out that night and do an emergency visit because it was 86° in my house and climbing. The second company informed me that due to fixing some of the air leak, it changed the static pressure in my system which allowed water to back up in the safety switch. They repositioned the drain pipes so there was a trap to prevent that from happening. Took them about 10 minutes and they were so kind and professional. I will still have to pay someone to come out and properly fix the condensation problem. Air it Cool should have stood behind their work and offered to come out and assess the problem they clearly caused instead of attempting to make me feel bad that I am not an HVAC professional and shift blame. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Shoddy work and absolutely rude.

We just purchased our home when the blower motor on our a/c started blowing hot air. Our home warranty sent out Air It Cool to diagnose and fix the problem. They quickly replaced the blower motor and everything was up and running. But just shy of a year later, the blower motor stopped running completely. We called Air It Cool because we were happy with their quick response and felt they would honor the one year warranty on the motor. Instead, the technician was blaming the wiring and said something was burned out in the handler. The technician verbally quoted numbers to fix the blower or better yet purchase a whole unit and duct replacement. We never received anything in writing. Not even for the diagnosis. When he left, we had the wiring checked and couldn't find any evidence of a wiring problem or anything burned out. When the motor was removed, the shaft was far too rusted for a one-year-old motor. We contacted Air It Cool through the website hoping they will still honor the warranty but no one responded. We had to replace the motor out of our pocket and now our system is working better than ever. We were looking to build a relationship with Air It Cool. Our system is 8 years old and we know we have to replace it at some point but couldn't afford to at the moment. They were looking for the $1400+ quick sale rather than a long-term customer. They may have even scammed us the first time they visited us by replacing the motor with a used motor while charging my home warranty for a new one.

Will find out on Tuesday, October 31. I am confident that all will go well.

Company made an appointment for yesterday and then called later to say they were double booked and cancelled the appointment. Made another appointment for today. I was doing yard work waiting for someone to show up and had a missed call. I called back and was told that they cancelled my appointment again because I didn't answer my phone. No one told me I had to be available by phone prior to the appointment or that they would call to reconfirm. When I make an appointment I expect someone to show up.

The first addition of freon let my house be cool while we waited for the coil to come in. The first attempt to replace the coil ended with it broken, but I don't know if that was the fault of the manufacturer or the installer. I was without air conditioning until a new coil arrived and was installed several days later. Throughout the process, they were professional, polite, and got everything done as quickly as possible. They called to let me know when they were on the way for each appointment (3 total). Despite the issues, I was satisfied with the outcome.

Quickly and efficiently and gave me more information about my current system.

Excellent service. My call was answered right away - The service provider asked for some details about what was going on - he said he would be at my house in 90 minutes and he was right on time. He was very polite, professional and thorough. The price was very fair and my AC is working fine now. I will definitely use them again.

I call Yandro on a Saturday morning and he showed right on time @ 1pm when he said he would. Very nice and professional. Customer service is great and he is extremely honest. We had cold air in a couple of hours after his arrival! 👍🏽😄

I bought the coupon, but the provider did not serve my location. Perhaps Angie's List could do something to help better connect service providers and service requestors, with consideration for geographic range?

The crew member that installed my UV light was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. He had an emergency that morning. He kept the appointment, almost nightfall, but he called to confirm that arriving that late would be okay. I will recommend Air It Cool should anyone decide that they would like to have an AC UV light for their home system.

The service went well. The only issue I had was that the provider did not return phone message when I initially tried to schedule the service.

Air It Cool came over a few hours after I called. They asked me if I had messed with my air conditioning unit because wires were exposed and a piece that had been pulled out of the fuse box had not been put back. I told them that AAA air conditioning had been out and they told me I needed a new unit for $6199. Since I didn't think this was accurate, I called Air It Cool. They were punctual, knowledgable, and friendly. The problem was diagnosed and I just needed a new fan motor. I will definitely be using Air It Cool in the future.

The A/C went out Friday night, we called our Home Warranty company (Old Republic) and they contracted Air It Cool. The tech came out Saturday morning around 8:30am and was GREAT! he replaced the cylanoid and another part, but then it started to rain...rain hard. I held an umbrella over him as much as I could. He eventually said that he still needed to replace the motor in the unit, but the A/C would now work with the parts he did install. So, he came back Monday morning and replaced the motor. It was REALLY great and he was very honest. I would totally trust them again.

Upon making contact with provider, they were responsive, returned calls promptly, easy to get ahold of, worked with us on the price, and was at the job at time they stated. They were informative of the problem and what needed to get done. Easy to work with and pleasant to deal with.

AC stopped working and Air it Cool came out and found that my lawn guy nicked a wire. Great service and I will use again.

Yandro from Air it Cool came out to look at the old Ac system at my new property. The previous owners never changed the air filter and had pets. So a new system was needed as well as the ductwork cleaned. Yandro was able to provide a quote for the work in a couple of days via email. The quote had all the items that would be done in a itemized format. His company did a great job! We had a new AC compressor and handler installed, the ductwork cleaned, the vents cleaned, and the dryer vent cleaned. I would definitely recommend Yandro and Air it Cool!

The Air it Cool technician was honest and took his time to do a thorough inspection. We initially consulted a different company that was highly rated who was suggesting for us to replace an entire unit for thousands of dollars without properly trying to find the source of the problem first. Air it cool had the integrity and expertise to fix the problem in a highly professional and ethical manner at a fair and reasonable cost. I would highly recommend their service to anyone looking for an ethical and honest air conditioning company that actually believes in putting their customers interest first.

Air it cool contractor was superb. Very knowledgable- very polite. He fixed aspects of the ac that were very complicated to figure out what was wrong, he took the time to figure out what was the main cause of the problems. I will definitely use hima gain in the furture.

They responded quickly and told me we needed a new a/c. We were blessed that the Home Warranty covered the expense, so I cannot comment on their cost. The guys were clean & polite and worked all day to get the job done. They were unable to finish some small things and said they would come back on the weekend. It was over one month later when I contacted the company when they finally came out to finish. It was also a bit difficult to get warranty information that listed contact numbers on it from the office. It took several attempts. Another small thing was that the guys used one of my landscape blocks to support the concrete slab the outside condenser is sitting on - so I guess that will be there forever. It's a shame all these little things happened or they would have received an A from me.

The system worked for 2 weeks and broke, further they installed ultraviolet lights to prevent mold since the installation I have had a musty smell coming through the vents that was not there prior. I have called and emailed and they refuse to return my calls/messages/emails. They are not telling me what service they provided the second time but charged me a second fee. They will not return my calls so I cannot find out what is wrong with the musty smell. They do not back their own service or document service provided. Nonresponsive. I am very frustrated with this company
