Timothy Park Construction

Timothy Park Construction engages in business practices which are questionable to say the least. This company performed roof repairs on my home in December and has refused to provide any documentation of the work performed. On four separate occasions I have contacted this company for the following items with no response:

1) Documentation regarding the work performed.

1. 2) Confirmation that they received payment and that no further balance was due for the work completed.
3. 3) A description of the warrantee, to include the duration of the warrantee, associated with the work performed.

Furthermore, when the owner of the company came by to inspect the roof repairs completed by his workers he indicated that I should file an insurance claim suggesting that this could be done after the fact. I informed Mr. Parks that I was not interested in filing an insurance claim for two reasons: 1) The roof damage was caused by another contractor which is something he was fully aware of, and 2) The damage was minor and most people know that home insurance claims should only be filed for the more significant issues and not minor ones. Mr. Parks indicated that I should contact him if I changed my mind over the next few weeks about submitting an insurance claim.

If any company is worthy of investigation it is probably this one. This company  engages in questionable, and possibly even illegal, business practices by not documenting the work performed,  the payments recieved, and for suggesting that insurance claims could be made even weeks after the repairs have been completed. Furthermore, they do not guarantee their work nor provide any kind of  warrantee and do not respond to reasonable requests for information. I strongly recommend that you steer clear of this company and take your business elsewhere. I have no issues with the workers who performed the work, but the owner of this company does not deserve to be in business.
