Minello's Cleaning Service

This Minello's Cleaning Service company was recommended outside of Angie's List for a move-in cleaning. After showing up several hours late, instead of a cleaning crew, we were surprised to find an ill-equipped lady and her teenage son at our door sent by the provider company, which apparently enlists several low-income individuals to perform odd jobs. Notwithstanding, we gave them an opportunity to perform the task as it would be unfair to judge the book by its cover.
Amongst many lamentable shortcomings, which were reflected in the work performed, they did not even have tools to properly clean the windows, scrubs for the bath walls, not a mop to take care of floor, a dated vacuum cleaner that barely worked, etc. We had to directly inform her that the work was below expectations and only then the toilets got a second try.
Having come late, they had to leave the house not nearly half completed promising to come the next day just to receive a call that would have to wait for another day for them to come and complete the task. Unfortunately, cleaners do not pick up "partially completed" work from other provider, which resulted in our paying full price for a second company to do the actual work. A part of the house was partially cleaned, which is the same to say the part worked on was left partly dirty!
To make matters work, this provider had the guts to ask payment for a "partial cleaning," which had to be redone by professionals at our own tab. Understanding that it is better to get miserables out of our way, we decided to pay and write them off as a lesson learned: Use Angie's List always and close your doors in the face of providers that on a first glance fail to meet the minimum requirements so that you are not charged for half-baked work.
