Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
We live out of state and upon seeing the finished work all I can say is "OMG...I can't wait until Chip does our other bathroom" The communication was extraordinary. We were sent photos as the work proceeded. Gracie is fantastic about getting back to you with any concern you might have. We had a slight problem with our toilet and Chip realized how great a problem it could have turned into that he came by in a day or two and gave us a new toilet. I can't say enough good things about the work Like I said, I can't wait for Chip to do the other bathroom (actually, the rest of the condo)

Experienced in multiple trades, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tile work, flooring, drywall, roofing just to name a few. They were professional, showed up when promised and left a clean area when complete. The office and billing were excellent and delivered as promised. Overall, an excellent experience.

Chip has done quite a lot of work here at my house. This ranges from irrigation to flooring to painting, electrical work including installing fans as well as arranging for all new screening in my house tiling front and back porches, and plumbing. I won't trust my house with anybody else but him. He and his wife are an amazing team, and I could not be more impressed with their professionalism. I have called him in over the course of nearly a year now, as my house needs work, and he is marvelous.

Laminate Wood or Stone Flooring - Install
I have had an absolutely horrible experience with Southern Sunset Florida Handyman. Though of course the wife will try and dispute...the truth is very careful hiring them for flooring. I can not comment on anything else they do but when it comes to vinyl plank flooring I would suggest passing on them. 12 days later and 3 tear-outs I still have an unfinished master bedroom, with multiple chips in the flooring, seamless...is not seamless, a closet transition due to Chip not knowing how to repair his chipped pieces, and $2000 in flooring instead of $1000. Now I have to hire true professionals and pay more money (the wife refuses to give us our $440 we already gave them back when her husband felt so bad he wanted to do the rest of our flooring free). I now have to pay another $1100 to have the entire room ripped out and laid properly. Thank God the sheriff was here when they picked up their tools as she tried to accuse my husband of throwing their equipment and the deputy had to set her straight (all on video). Seriously would run from this business. She agreed to refund half of our money and said the deal is off upon showing up at our home. (I have it in writing).

Without going too far into the legalities of this, I confirm yes the sheriff's office was called by me, the business owner, twice, over a span of 72 hours (All corroborated in official documentation) in order to."

Popcorn Acoustic Ceiling Texture Application, Repair or Removal
Initially the project did not turn out as anticipated. Additional days and hours were required to finish the job. From the start Chip said he wanted us to be happy with the results of his work. Well he did what he needed to do to make that happen in spite of the additional time and effort needed. For that I commend him. And Gracie....a pleasure to work with. Nuff said. FJV
