Our goal at Advent Electric is to provide quality electrical work at fair prices. I personally have been servicing the Central Florida area as an electrician for over 30 years. We will be here for many years to come. You can feel secure calling us. Whether you are building a new house, remodeling the kitchen, or just want to add a ceiling fan in your living room. We can help. If you are in business, and you need a circuit ran for a new copier, ballast replaced in the office light, or security cameras installed. We can help. Light industrial, we can install T5 fluorescents in place of your HID lighting for significant energy cost savings. We can install 3 phase circuits for new industrial machines, or a 120 volt line for a water cooler in the break room. We have extensive experience in new construction, but are also well qualified to make any necessary repairs to your existing electrical equipment. When I called, their representative tried to walk me through trouble shooting the issue to save me money. We could not figure it out. They had workers at a project in my area that afternoon and they would try to swing by when they are done. Their rep came early and started immediately. he was having difficulty finding the root of the problem and another rep came over to help out. They put their heads together and quickly found the root of the problem. The job took longer than expected, almost 3 hours, but they only charged me for the first hour and a half. In addition, they threw in a new CFI outlet and a three prong plug for window AC unit. If that were not enough they gave me a military discount. I am extremally satisfied and would highly recommend them .

Advent was very fast to reply. Still waiting for responses from other electricians from angies list. Advent didn't tell me there was a $75 "diagnostic fee" to come out to the house for an estimate. Not sure what there was to diagnose since I told them what needed to be done. I would not have hired them if I knew that. The work was done to code the same day. The price was about twice what I have paid other electricians for similar work in the past, but it was done in one trip and I did not have to be at the house. Payment was done online which was convenient.

First off Advent Electric immediately sent someone out to evaluate the job. Then these three guys came over and started to work.  They worked solid for at least four hours fixing one mess after another.  The transformer was bad so when they replaced it (twice) the new transformers were bad too.  Then they found shotty work from the previous electricians (Kangaroo Electric) had screwed an outlet into the cabinet through the wire they were using.  We were lucky a fire didn't happen.  I love having my lights again.  The guys were great.  They were easy to talk to, they explained the problems and were wonderful with my dogs.

I wanted to install ceiling lights in one part of family room. . They installed two lights with a dimmer control .I was very pleased with the Installation. Took only about an hour and was professionally done . Decided to have them back again later to install vanity lights in one of my bathrooms. Thank you for a job well done

I had to remind them about the appointment and what I had asked them to work on. They forgot to do some of the work I'd asked about. When they left they didn't clean up, there were wires and shaved pieces of metal left on the ground and I have pets. Some of the repairs that were performed are no longer working. It's been only about a year since they performed services and I would expect work to last longer than that.
