Mossy Oak provided a quote and gave me a time frame. They beat their time frame and showed up on time for the job. The crew was polite and took me through what they were going to do. They hand built the fence- and it is the best looking wood fence around. I did have some issues with the gate, but Shonna kept at it and when I was not 100% satisfied with the solution, Alphonso came out on a Saturday to address my issues to make sure I was 100% happy. You can't ask more than that from a company.

After getting 3 quotes for removal of old wooden fence and installation of new vinyl fence (~300 linear feet) Mossy Oak came to be the lowest price. After reading several reviews on Angies List and BBB I had some concerns. I gave them the job and paid my deposit. There was some communucation delays due to the time of year. I then took the proposal to my HOA for approvals all went well there. There was some back and forth on email with Mossy Oak and myself to coordinate the schedule for the work to ensure I had the HOA approval in hand first. The crew came out and in one day completed the work. I was impressed that got the work done with only 2 guys. They did a great job cleaned up and I tipped them well. They did not haul away the ivy which was removed from the old fence. I asked the crew if they would remove and they said they would come back on friday. They did not return on friday, so after a few emails and a couple of weeks later the ivy was removed. My advice would be to clarify all the details in advance. I think I made some assumptions about the work (such as haul away of ivy) and I should have clarified that. All in all it was a good finished product at a great price.

They were excellent!! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install a fence. The entire fence was completed in one day for a large area. The quality is superior and the price was better than anyone else out there (and we received 4 or 5 quotes).

This was in the Summer of 2013. I did not care for the fact he seemed annoyed when I asked a lot of questions. I wanted to know about all their packages. All salesman try to steer you in a particular direction.  That did bother me. I thought, I have chosen you and you are getting annoyed because I am asking you about more than one package.  Something else happened.  I forgot what I asked him, but he brushed me off.  That stayed with me.  This is not to say that they won't do a good job.  He did come out in a timely fashion. He did give me what I wanted.  He would not have done the job. Other people would have put down the fence and taken the measurements.  He goes out in advance and gathers information and gives an estimate. There is still a possibility I might go with them.

Maybe it is just me, but when I am dealing with a project for my home, I want a face to face meeting with the company rep. Included in my decision making is my "gut" feeling when talking to the provider. If someone just sends me a quote without meeting me and seeing exactly what I want, how can they be sure they are actually quoting an accurate price? This company may work for others, but for me, I want a face to face meeting to discuss what I want, not just a random email with a dollar amount.
This is a difficult question because not everyone may feel as I do, and I do not want to be unfair to the company.

I can be a picky perfectionist.  That said, I won't nit-pick the job even though I had some very minor problems.  The installers worked very hard and steady, even working through two short but heavy rain storms.  When finished they left the work area neat and clean.  I purchased the capped board-on-board fence because it has a polished and sturdy look and I didn't want a plain, common looking wood fence.  The fence is the nicest wood fence I've ever seen.  It is absolutely gorgeous and worth the extra money!

My neighbor told me that my fence was on his property 6 inches. It was installed in July of 2010.  After 3 years I didn't know how this would work.  Bu I called Mossey Oak and they sent someone to take a look.  They owned up to the error and corrected it within 2 weeks !  The crew was polite and respectful, they did s great job.  And neat! They took all their empty water bottles and rolled up the hose like they were never there.  And I didn't have to pay anything ! They even moved the gate for me.  That is what I call customer service ! They have a customer for life!

I first met Terry Fox the Rep. from fence co. on may 17 for estimate. We met a couple of times and finally worked out a deal on June 6th.Terry was very receptive and was one of the reason's I went with Mossy Oaks.
That was where it went down hill from there. There was nothing from office. If wanted to no something I had to call Terry.( They have had a change personal). It seemed to have gotten get better. It was finished on July 31 and finally inspected on Aug. 15th.
I can't say enough great things about the crew. They made all the negative things in the middle worth the wait. They did a great job!!!!!

The men arrived as scheduled.  They were professional, worked hard and cleaned up afterwards.  We then reviewed their work and it was done very well.  I am very satisfied.
As with other comments, there was a wait time of weeks before my fencing could be installed but once the date was set, everything went very smoothly.

The chain link fence took 4 weeks to order but it took 5 weeks for the install due to rainy weather.  We permitted the fence ourselves, which I feel expedited the process.

The installers were great and very careful and cooperative.  They were laughing as they left watching the dogs have so much fun in their new play yard.

The salesman and quote seemed to be fair. Communication and puncuality were at their worst. They never initiated contact, I always had to contact them. They never showed up onn time when they said they would. They had to return several times to correct what was installed incorrectly. Then they billed the credit card and never had anyone perform a final walk through when they finished. The last ones that came out left without us knowing it.
Response from Mossy Oak Fence Inc

"The goal of our company is to provide every client with the highest quality experience possible. We strive to provide the highest quality materials and workmanship in our industry and the overwhelming majority of our reviews and testimonials will support that claim. On the other hand, we are a company comprised of people that make mistakes. If or when this happens we are fully committed to making as many trips as necessary to complete the project to the individual clients specifications as this review suggests. Once the fence construction is complete our installation team will do a walk through with checklist in hand, providing the client is home and willing to participate. If the fence is to be stained, the wood needs to cure for a couple of weeks and the weather has to cooperate for application which in this case took a few weeks. Our team of professionals are extremely committed to customer satisfaction, most of the time it happens without fail, but occasionally we stub our toe a little and when we do our clients have my personal guarantee that I will do everything possible to ultimately meet their expectations. Overall it went great. Terry Fox who came out to give the estimate was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the fence and installation. My back yard looks much larger than it did without a fence, and I finally have privacy from my neighbors.
The only problem I encountered was when I received the original estimate, I didn't realize that the section of fence between my house and one of my neighbors wasn't put in to the proposal. Terry though I told him not to fence that side because they already had a chain link fence there. The miscommunication happened on both our parts, so I would strongly suggest that you look over the original proposal carefully and ask any question you may have. If I looked at the original Fence Proposal carefully, I would have seen that that part of the yard wasn't being factored into the price. When I came home and realized that the one side was left open, I left Terry a voice message (since it was already late in the day) and Terry contacted me back immediately. He ensured the remaining section would get installed and made sure I wouldn't be charged more than it would have cost to originally put the section in the estimate. The professionalism that Mossy Oak demonstrated when I called them back is one of the main reason's that I highly recommend them.

We were completely satisfied with the service and quality of fence we received from Mossy Oak. We recently had a fence installed in our back yard and couldn't be more satisfied! From the inital phone call, to Demetrio coming out and measuring, to setting up installation...everything was a breeze. We had to take care of all paperwork through our HOA and they took care of all paperwork through the city/county. We also got quotes from 2 other A-rated installers but the service and pricing with Mossy Oak helped us choose them. We did have to wait almost 4 weeks from contract agreement and down-payment to installation. This was explained to us upfront and we had agreed to it. However, it was 4 weeks to the day and I called to request the exact date I wanted it installed and they honored my wishes. I really couldn't have asked for a better process and nicer fence! Thanks!

They were terrific. They were punctual. They did everything that they said they were going to do and they put up the fence board by board than six foot sections at a time. They fit it in one day though. You should definitely call Mossy Oak and get a quote from them.

We contacted four Angie's list A-rated providers for estimates.  We scheduled three companies to come to our home to assess the job and provide estimates.  The fourth provider did not respond to our phone message.  Although all three sales people were very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable, we felt that Mossy Oak fence provided the most thorough presentation, including bringing a mock up of their gate to show us.  The salesman, Clark, answered all of our questions about materials, time-frames, installation techniques, etc. to our satisfaction and gave us the feeling that we would be in good hands if we selected Mossy Oak.  The price estimates for all three providers were within $200 of each other, with Mossy Oak falling in the middle.  We selected Mossy Oak because they used a wet cement mix to anchor the posts and because they were offering a discount for Angie's List members.
Mossy Oak's office staff was also cooperative and helpful in scheduling the installation, as we had family visiting and we did not want to have our plans interupted by a fence install.
Unfortunately, our experience with the actual installation did not live up to our expectations.  The installation crew showed up early.  So far, so good.  Unfortunately, they had a flat tire on one of their wheelbarrows, so they spent about 30 minutes getting it inflated, after which they began to install the fence.  The fence itself was done very well.  The posts were plumb and the top of the fence followed the contour of the property nicely.  The problems occurred with the two front sections of fence, which included the two gates.  Because the ground sloped away from the house, the gates had to be constructed on-site to fit the slope.  The gate construction was unsatisfactory, with multiple extra holes drilled in one of the gates where the hinge attached, a gap cut in the post above the center rail of the other gate and the use of several different sizes of bugle-head screws that left the gates looking very unprofessional.  There was also no cross bracing on the gate to prevent it from sagging.  In addition, four pieces of U-channel, which were supposed to be installed over the pickets at each post, were left out at the end posts of the two front fence sections.  When digging the post holes, the crew piled the soil by each post and did not protect the grass with tarps or plastic sheeting.  After borrowing our rake, one crew member did a pretty good job cleaning up the soil from about half of the posts, but the other half were left with a half-inch deep, 12-18 inch diameter semi-circle of soil and clay lying on the grass.  Maybe I'm being overly picky, but I spent about 2 1/2 hours raking up and removing the excess soil the following day.  Had I not done so, the grass underneath the soil would probably have died.
We contacted Mossy Oak's office staff and described the issues we had with the construction of the gates and about the missing pieces of U-channel.   They requested that we email them photos, which we did.  A few days later, we were contacted by the person I had spoken with and were told that, based upon the photos, they also found the construction of the gates to be unacceptable and that they would send someone out.  We were not at home when someone came out and replaced the post that had the gap, but nothing was done about the missing U-channel, the bugle-head screws or the extra holes at the gate hinge.  After contacting them again, Mossy Oak again sent someone out who rebuilt the gate with the extra screwholes, replaced all of the bugle-head screws with a more acceptable and unobtrusive type of screw and added cross bracing to both gates.  However, we never received an answer about the missing U-channel.
Based on Mossy Oak Fence's Angie's List reviews and ratings, we expected an A+ experience.  Although everyone we had contact with at Mossy Oak fence, including the installation crew, was very pleasant, and the fence and the gates now look good, the hassle of dealing with the gate problems and the missing U-channel, made for a less than satisfying experience.
Response from Mossy Oak Fence Inc

"Our goal as company is to insure a quality fence and good customer service through the entire process. Construction as most people know has it's challenges from job to job but Mossy Oak always makes sure it's clients are happy and get the job they contracted for before asking for final payment to be made. We appreciate Member's comments to help us as a Service company continue to improve."

There was a bit of a wait for the job after contract was sent in and then it was delayed due to weather but finally the day came and the fence was installed,
I was a bit perturbed because the permit was denied and then remained hanging on the wall looking wet and ugly for two months. After several calls to the city and the company another inspection was done and I could remove the permit FINALLY>
On the good side the company came out and worked on the gate's latch which I had complained was too difficult to open and then weeks later came back and removed wood from the gate after a new stone path was added.  They didn't need to do that but I appreciated it very much.
Also they honored a discount for Angie's members !
