"I went out to the client's house on 2 different occasions; a price was agreed on and a contract was signed. After asking for the deposit to start the job, twice, the client said she wanted to cancel one half of the job. i repriced the job for the remaining half, and sent the quote. The client acknowledged receipt of the new quote, but I never received the deposit. accordingly, I did not start the job."
