Had you informed us that you were looking for a repair estimate, we would have informed you to return your Maintenance Package through Angie’s List so we could best meet your needs. We are not currently running the Angie’s List Packages at the moment, but we will make sure to make them more clear when we begin offering them again, to avoid further confusion. The new skylight cover looked so good that the one next to it now looks really shabby; Arry's discounted the cost to come out and refurbish the adjoining skylight as they understood I would have done them together if it had been explained to me how different the new one would look. That's a sign of a company who understands the homeowner's needs and puts a priority on customer satisfaction. Did I mention that the roof looks great? It does! The wind mitigation inspector checked it all out - no problems - everything done as specified in the contract.
Arry's price was competitive with other reputable roofing companies - pay a little more and be happy. In addition, they provide discounts to military families and donate roofs to needy families. I can be very critical but cannot find a fault with Arry's.

There was a 2 month wait after the contract was signed before work would begin, but with all the torrential rains this summer, I understand the heavy workload. And the wait time was the same at the other company from which I had received an estimate.
The crew arrived to start work a week before tentatively scheduled. They were efficient, and finished the job in only a few days. They didn't disturb any of the landscaping, and they cleaned up their mess every evening before they left. It couldn't have been a smoother experience! And this says quite a bit about the skill of their crew. We live in a house that was built in 1959, and it's designed in the Frank Lloyd Wright style of unique architecture. So besides all the original skylights, there were multiple levels of roof, and all very uniquely shaped. Plus, the roof is flat. And some of the design elements were not conducive to the heavy rainfall of decades of Florida summers. There was quite a lot of rotted wood underneath the old roofing, but we had assumed that would be the case, since the ceiling in the house had begun to leak during the storms this year. So the crew had to redesign a couple areas and install the new roof in a way so as to maintain the feel of the original, unique design that we love, but also to minimize the chance of standing water.
From the Sales Rep, to all the ladies I spoke with over the phone and in the office, to the roofing crew, I can sum up the experience quite succinctly: Impressive, every step of the way.
We have a 20-year, fully transferrable warranty on the roof. But truly, based on the expert workmanship I witnessed, and the pride and integrity of the company, I believe wholeheartedly that the roof will thrive for 20 years, and many, many more.

"We are very sorry for not meeting your expectations when we consulted with you. We have noticed that for one reason or another our representatives’ personalities don’t always “mesh” with our customers, and unfavorable consultations can result. We are so sorry that your experience with our project manager was not encouraging. We have found great success with offering to bring in another estimator to resolve the situation and bring solutions to the table. Sometimes, just a slight miscommunication can cause a snowball effect of problems. We would love the opportunity to make things right and prove our Company is truly different. Additionally, I do want to explain, that per our records, we did not receive your cancellation for the repair work until the 18th of June and were able to provide you with a replacement estimate on the 20th. It is pretty standard for us to draft a replacement quote by satellite pictures if we were just out to the house. We then come back out to discuss in further detail and take final measurements once you are ready to move forward. This competitive market keeps us constantly looking for ways to improve and innovate; and being able to quote with satellite pictures has greatly improved our turnaround time for estimates when customers decide to replace rather than repair. We truly apologize that this process didn’t provide a faster response time for you. Shortly after they started I went outside and asked if they knew/remembered they were going to remove the gutter as well as replacing the ridge vents. The lead gentleman said he wasn't aware of that. Him and I went over the paperwork and found the estimate where it had been written on there. So he said no problem and that they would remove it. (As a single female, I really appreciated the fact that he never argued with me, he just said he wasn't aware and then we both looked over the paperwork and found it.)
During the repair work, they had run out shingles, so they had to leave and go get more. They were back within a reasonable amount of time, continued on with the work, and finished the job that early afternoon. After removing the gutter, the gentleman (I'm so sorry I can't remember his name) said that the wood was still good, so to just fill the holes and it'd be fine.
I am very happy with the work they have done, and will be booking Arry's Roofing when my roof needs replacing in about 5 years.

Professional: From the initial phone call to the final clean up, the entire company was professional, polite, and skilled at their job.
Quality: We were very happy with the product quality and options available. The sales personnel were friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and listened to what we wanted. The craftsmanship of the roofing crews was top notch and we?ve received multiple compliments from neighbors, our HOA, and even the county inspectors who were familiar with Arry?s work----the county
inspectors were familiar with the quality of Arry?s work----think that pretty much says it all.
Reliable: Arry?s stands behind their work. We had an issue pop up that was not due to any fault by Arry?s, but they came in and helped us resolve the problem. This is a company that cares about their customers and the reputation of their name. The staff was just as worried about the look of the finished roof as I was?my roof is their advertisement and it looks great! Long after they had my money in the bank, they continued to take the time to make sure I was satisfied?and I am!
Price: Replacing a roof is a serious investment in your home and neglecting it will result in higher repair costs later. Given the quality of the finished product, their price is very competitive. Look around on your own. Roofs are being repaired all year long, so take a drive and look at the finished results. Several roofs were done by other companies in our neighborhood and you can see the difference in workmanship. This is a long-term investment?I really don't want to spend money and see a roof ridgeline that looks like the waves in the ocean. Anyone can order shingles, but the application of the skills to make the most of your investment is what Arry?s will give you.
I am very satisfied, I have recommended them to neighbors, and I will use them again in 20 years or so?

With Arry's, you are having a "GAF Master Elite" contractor putting up your roof. From what I understand, there are very few of these in the U.S. because you have to earn that distinction through the quality of your services. The owner and his family have been in Tampa Bay for decades and care about every detail of the process. They will also immediately address any concerns or questions you have during the roofing procedure. I know this for a fact because we had some minor concerns after the first day. Stephen Housh, VP of Operations and one of the owner's sons, not only dispatched a senior supervisor to our job, but personally called to guarantee that our concerns were being addressed and to offer his assistance should any other problems develop. They didn't. The supervisor he sent was wonderful and went well above our expectations. His attention to detail was impeccable and we're confident we will have no problems with our new roof in the years to come. And, even if we did, the Housh family will take care of it because they truly care about the quality of their work.
So spend the little bit of extra money for Arry's. The "fly by night" contractors will charge you less, but I can guarantee you'll have problems as a result. Go with Arry's. The structural integrity of your home will be safeguarded if you do.
