This was a room on a budget! My son found some discontinued tile he liked on a Saturday & we paid for it. When Ron (Universal) tried to place the order on Monday the tile was already sold out. He called us right away so we could get our money back. Meanwhile he talked to the owner and they agreed to sell us some gorgeous tile they had left over from a large job for the same price. We ended up with a superior product, 20 x 20 porcelain that looks just like travertine! It's been down for 6 months and my son couldn't be happier with it.

We purchased our tile from Universal Tile after checking 4 other places. Their selection is so large it's almost overwhelming. But Aurora helped us and we ended up going with the first tile she suggested. We're very pleased with the tile, but their service is why I'm putting them on Angie's list. The tile came in on time and when we picked it up, Ron came out to the car to check it and make sure we were happy. (We bought tile from another store for our other bathroom and did not know that the shower tiles, floor tiles and bull-nose were different shades until the installer was at our house and ready to start!) So we really appreciate the attention and great help we received at Universal Tile. Their price was very good and John gave us the "Angie's List" discount too.

He told me that it would be no problem that if it didn't match, I could get my money back. It has been 2 months now, and have still not received my money. When I called him back, he said he forgot that he said that. I brought everything back to the store and gave them the tile. Very unprofessional.

THE INSTALLATION WORK IS EXCELLENT. THE FOLLOW UP AND FOLLOW THROUGH HAVE NOT BEEN SATISFACTORY. THEY DO NOT CALL BACK WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL. AND THERE WERE OCCASIONS WHEN THEY DIDN'T COME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. OUR HOUSE HAS BEEN IN DISARRAY GOING ON 4 WEEKS WAITING FOR THE FINAL CLEANUP.

VERY POLITE, WILLING TO LISTEN TO BEGINNERS. ENCOURAGING. MY TILE TURNED OUT FANTASTIC. COMMUNICATION REGARDING YOUR ORDER IS TOP NOTCH. MY SPANISH TILE WAS EXPENSIVE, COMPARED TO HOME DEPOT, ETC., BUT IT IS CUSTOM AND I LOVE IT.
