About us

Two Maids & A Mop is the most popular, hardest working & most professional house cleaning company in the entire Tampa, Florida area. Our company started from very humble beginnings way back on April Fools' Day in 2003. Our first office was all of 200 square feet and it was located in a pretty rough neighborhood. I can still remember those ugly looking wood paneled walls. I can still remember that tiny little restroom. And unfortunately, I can still remember how dead our first week of business was back then. But we've learned a lot since that first day back in 2003. The biggest thing we've learned is that cleaning houses means much more than just cleaning houses. I know that sounds a little crazy but just trust me - our customers simply expect something different from our company.

They are good and ask for anything they missed before they leave. They are also good about following up the day after with a phone call to make sure you are satisfied.

Overall, the cleaning gets done. The company is easy to work with and accepts credit cards and takes auto pay which is a huge plus. For the size of the space, and since they have been to my place before, I think little things like emptying the trash should not be forgotten, but we will continue to work with this company. They call you after each clean to see how it went.

They did an "okay" job cleaning my home. My biggest complaint is that for both of the past two cleanings, they've left my furniture and decorations pushed around out of place when they were done. Its pretty obvious stuff, like one of my chairs was facing the wall. So after they leave I have to go back through my apartment and straighten everything. Also, after my first "deep clean" there were certain things that didn't get cleaned like my blinds and bathroom faucets. I informed the manager and he was accomodating, but it's still frustrating. The employees are nice and easy to work with, but overall there's room for improvement in paying attention to the details.

The Maids did a great job, speak English, show up and bring their own supplies. I like that I do not have to leave notes. The company keeps all the special instructions on file. They did miss a few things on first visit, but one call to the service department and everything was made up on next visit. This is a professional service. Have tried others in the past and they always go down hill over time or even forget to show up on our assigned date. I prefer 2 Maids & a Mop professionals!

Hired for a Top to Bottom deep clean, but ended up having to clean the house myself. Kitchen floor not swept or mopped, visible debris left on floors in living room and bathrooms, dust left everywhere, and appliances not wiped down. Left a pile of what appeared to be cleanser on my quilt that was still visible even after I vacuumed it up. This was certainly not a "deep clean" and not worth the high price I paid. Company would not fully refund my money. Do not recommend and will not use them again.

We did call and you declined the option to have our Assistant Manager return to complete the areas. I live on a military base. They sent out two ladies to do the work and were denied access because one of the ladies had a misdemeanor on her record. So they had to send out two other ladies. After we both realized what needed to be done they were really helpful. The two new ladies did an amazing job. I wish they could have stayed just five minutes more to finish the last three small things. But what they did do was 5 ⭐️ hotel clean. I can't even get my house that clean by myself taking the weekend to do so. Now that we both know the do's and don'ts of getting people onto a military base the next time should be easier.
