I've used Tropiscapes since their inception over 20 years ago. Always on time, always informative, always excellent work. Mike, the owner, has terrific vision and the ability to make the vision a reality. Truly outstanding work.

My yard looks wonderful every time they are here. Mike the owner is very knowledgeable and he knows what kind of plants will work. They are very good, efficient, and very friendly. They are good guys.

Michael was extremely pleasant to work with an very professional. He was willing to work together with me to create a beautiful garden with edging. He was punctual at our appointments and, once the work started, he worked diligently, every day, until it was finished. He went over and beyond, when he came across a potential problem, to fix it. We asked Michael to design and install landscaping for our new build house. When he first came to the property, he immediately made some _valuable_ suggestions for home's exterior completely unrelated to the landscaping. He also suggested a gravel bed around the house to replace gutters, which has worked wonderfully to prevent rain erosion on our sloped lot. His landscaping design was beautiful and appropriate to the house and has not only survived, but flourished. I recommend him higly.

We have been using Tropiscapes for over 8 years and have always been very pleased with the services they provide. Michael has designed landscaping in both our front and back yards and continues to maintain the plants and shrubs. He and his crew are always polite and very professional. We have always been satisfied with everything they have done!

He comes back every 3 months. I kept Mike. He has been good. I would recommend them. He was expensive but I have some unique trees on my yard.

Several years ago, Mike completely redid all the landscaping in my yard. He made a lot of great recommendations after listening to my needs and wants. He was able to add greenery and shade to an otherwise hot, barren strip. He added color with low maintenance plants. I've hired Mike again to add mulch, remove vines and replenish some areas with new plants. He is easy to work with and his employees are hardworking, energetic and totally trustworthy. I will definitely use Tropiscapes in the future.

Completely happy with the outcome, Michael was fantastic to work with, always on-time, professional and on budget. I hope we have more landscaping needs in the future to work with again, we are so thrilled with how fantastic the front of our house looks now.

The doorbell rang. I did not recognize the lady in my driveway, but she was checking out my yard. As we introduced ourselves, I learned she lived one block over in my neighborhood. She was stopping to ask about the plants in my yard. I told her I did not have a green thumb, but that Michael Garth of Tropiscapes does, and he keeps everything looking great. Michael Garth has taken care of the plants in my yard since the summer of 2014, when he replaced some dying plants, added new species, and made my yard look beautiful. Since then he has come 3 or 4 times a year with his crew, spends 2 to 4 hours weeding, trimming. reshaping, mulching and fertilizing. About two years ago we had to have five trees removed. The front yard looked bad. Then Michael came to the rescue, and the results are spectacular. At least once a week someone says they think the yard looks great. The house is in a HOA community, so this cannot happen, but my fantasy is that Michael Garth puts a sign in the yard that says, "This yard is taken care of by Tropiscapes."

It went wonderfully well. Michael is very knowledgeable and takes excellent care of my plants. I normally have him come two to three times a year. He is very conscientious, reliable, and dependable. He takes care to ensure he works within my budget. Great company!

Mike came out to inspect the work that needed to be done. He provided detailed and helpful information. Very well. After discussion and approval of design concept, the demolition and removal began promptly. Everything worked smoothly, work site was cleaned up daily in full, and schedule was met. The workers were clean and respectful, there was no loud or offensive talk or behavior, and it was a delight to be part of the experience.

Mike and his team began when they were scheduled; completed the job efficiently, and expertly.Have received numerous compliments from neighbors on the results. Overall price very reasonable. Have rehired them to redo another section of our yard.They are ready to begin, but unfortunately, Mother Nature has other plans. Suffice it to say, however, they will start as soon as feasible and am sure the result will be as good as the first!

I requested services from this company for aeration, landscaping and sod laying and they never replied to my request. If they are not available to work, they should remove or pause themselves from Angie’s List until they are ready to work again.

We selected Tropiscapes to landscape our yard, and found this company to be exemplary in every way. Mike Garth, the owner of the company, promptly contacted us after we called, and came out to give an estimate for all the work we wanted done. We had our front and side yards completely remodeled, and also had a small patio and pavers around the flower beds installed in the back yard. Mike and every person on his crew is deserving of the highest praise. They were always on time and dedicated to the job. This was a long and complex project, involving removal of all existing sod, vastly overgrown plantings and bushes, and working through impossible tree roots to install new sod, raised flower beds, and all new bushes and plantings. Everyone worked so diligently and conscientiously in the heat and sometimes even the rain to do an outstanding job, and they didn't stop until the project was completed. They also cleaned up the property every day before they left. They are the BEST! Mike's impressive qualifications and experience is really evident in his work. He was so helpful in advising of the viability of the plants we wanted, and patiently worked with us to get everything just the way we wanted it to look. Our favorite part of the yard is the spectacular beauty of the stacked, stone border wall, which was so artfully constructed in a curving pattern around the flower beds. Tropiscapes is the company to contact for beautiful landscaping, dependability, and exceptional customer service. Our yard looks like a work of art, and they have our highest recommendation!

Mike and his team took our bare boring yard and created a paradise. I can't count how many neighbors have stop by to compliment our new landscaping. We couldn't be more please with the work. One of the best aspects of this company is that they do what they say they are going to do when they say they're going to do it. They show up on time and do not leave until the work is complete. The owner personally provides cost estimates and oversees the work that is done by his employees. I also had the pleasure of seeing the owner's expertise in landscape design services when our next door neighbor contracted to have their entire yard re-designed by Tropiscapes, including paved edging, built up beds in the back of the house with exterior lighting and all new plants. Their yard looked magnificent when done which was why we contracted with them the first time.
