I had been having refrigerator issues, & I could not get water to the refrigerator. I was instructed to call a plumber & Gene from Total Plumbing was able to repair the issue.. He checked my fridge, I wasn't able to get ice & he was able to resolve that. He inspected it very thoroughly & he is very knowledgeable. He did a great job, I am very pleased & I will Total Plumbing Solutions again!

Total Plumbing was great! From the phone call setting up the appointment to job completion, Total Plumbing did just what they said they would do. Gene came out during the scheduled time, repaired the leaking toilet and even added extra bolts to prevent the issue from happening again. Gene was courteous and neat. He left the bathroom the same as it was when he arrived--minus the leaking toilet! I will definitely use Total Plumbing again in the future :)

When my original plumber never came back to find out why I had the back up I called Total Plumbing Solutions. They were there the next day with equipment to find out what caused the problem, The next day they were there with a crew to replace pipes that were damaged by tree roots. I contacted Total Plumbing Solutions after work on 8/23 when I discovered my hot water heater had leaked in my garage. Their service technician Gene was able to be at my house first thing the next morning before I left for work (he arrived by 7:30am!) to install a new water heater. He did a great job & I would highly recommend Total Plumbing Solutions! Thanks for the great work & for responding so quickly!

This was the first time I used Total Plumbing Solutions. Their response time was excellent. Jacob was the plumber who serviced the toilet, and he was a most courteous, competent plumber. On his first visit, he replaced the toilet kit which turned out to not completely solve the water leak problem. I called a second time and immediately Jacob returned and replaced the value inside the toilet (at no charge). When I called to report the second problem. I was treated with respect, and the problem was solved the same day. Please give this company and chance. They are wonderful.

The whole experience with Total Plumbing Solutions was excellent. I called about 9:15am on a Tuesday morning, spoke on the phone with a man who was very nice and professional. I explained the number of small jobs that needed to be done and he promised to dispatch someone right away, which he did. TJ, the service technician, arrived within 30-40 minutes of my phone call, which was impressive. He assessed the repairs and gave me an estimate up front, which was quite fair and reasonable. After I agreed on the price, he immediately went to work and systematically repaired everything in an efficient and professional manner. My wife and I are first-time homeowners and we always like to accompany service pros as they work so that we can find out the cause of any problems and learn about how everything works in our house. Sometimes, people don't like to answer questions and explain the work they're doing, but TJ took the time throughout the process to educate us and explain everything that could help us be better maintainers of our home. TJ also applied our Angie's List discount without us having to ask for it, which is uncommon with many providers who try to avoid doing it even when they know you've come from AL. We felt very good about the whole process, which only took about 2 hours from my initial phone call to the end of the repairs. I would definitely recommend TPS to others.

I've used Total Plumbing several times. They are excellent. The repipe was particularly impressive because they were non-dramatic when quoting me and then sent three guys to do the job so that it got done in just 3 days. All other jobs went as smoothly as a job could go. Just stress free and drama free.

The service was great! And i am usually pretty cheap, so i was happy that it only cost me 300 bucks to get out of that disaster. Matt is an awesome guy to work with!

I was stood up by another plumbing company when i was in need of emergency service while other companies wouldn't provide service until the next business day.  I couldn't wait as I had water flooding my basement and Total Plumbing Solutions
came to my rescue within 45 mins of my call!  Also want to mention the person I spoke with on the phone was incredibly friendly and helpful with instructions on how to shut off the water in my home to prevent any further water damage.  
Total Plumbing Solutions showed up with all needed tools and materials to fix my broken water pipe and had it fixed in less than an hour.  Pricing was reasonable and I don't think I was charged the emergency service fees.  I truly stumbled upon a gem and will be sure to call Total Plumbing Solutions for my  future plumbing needs!

Replaced sewer from line from the house to the city tap line. I just had a baby and we had raw sewage backing everywhere and it was horrible. The owner Matt himself came out on Monday evening and did not charge me overtime or try to rip me off like most other companies I called. So grateful I called Total Plumbing and would highly recommend them, thank you again Matt! 

It went GREAT!    We were in a bind having just bought a house that needed gutting!  Total Plumbing Solutions came the same day we called to look at our problems.  The price was fair and they were there the next day!  We had brand new sinks and toilets that fast!

  The guys who came out were very nice and professional!  They even used a camera to check our sewer lines!  Very cool!

  Matt, the owner,  was very helpful in helping us pick the fixtures and figuring out what needed to be done.  We had a house full of workers, so much to be done, so it was great to have them simplify these problems for us.  

I would highly recommend this company for ANY plumbing problems you may have!  The work is fast, and neat and can't be beat!

My water heater at my house busted in the middle of the night and I woke up to my kitchen and living room floor covered in water. When I called Total Plumbing they were at my house within the hour and were very professional. They helped me clean up all of the water and damage when they did not even have to. Not only did they go above and beyond in helping me the owner, Matt, also personally came out to my home to help! I can definitely say that this would have been a nightmare of a day without the help and accommodation of Total Plumbing!

I called Matt at Total Plumbing, as he was highly recommended by a friend.  
I was having hot water problems.  The water heater was hot, but the hot water did not arrive at any of my faucets in the house.  This had been going on for about a month.  I replaced the water heater myself and it did not solve the problem.  
From my research, I thought I needed a backflow valve to stop cold water from entering the water heater.  Matt agreed with my diagnosis that cold water was mixing with the hot water before it reached my faucets.  He said that the backflow valve would not fix the problem. He found a valve behind my air conditioning unit where the hot and cold appeared to be connected.
I was given 2 choices: knock holes in every wall and ceiling in my house to trace down the place where cold water was mixing into the hot, or bypass all the existing hot water lines and replace them with new hot water lines.  The water line replacement seemed to be the best option, so I paid them $2500 to replace the water lines.  
The crew arrived promptly, was courteous and very professional.  They went above and beyond the call of duty to avoid knocking holes everywhere.  I ending up only having to patch 3 holes in the drywall inside of closets.  I have no complaints at all about the quality of their work, and if my decision was based solely on that, I would hire them again.
But, after spending $2500, the problem was not solved.  There was no improvement and I still had no hot water unless I ran the faucets more than 10 minutes to get warm water. The crew came back, installed a backflow valve and shut off the mixing valve for an additional cost of $285.  Problem solved.  
So, I wasted $2500 by not insisting they try the easiest solution before doing the major work, and by not trusting my own knowledge.  
Buyer beware.

The owner of the company called me today, apparently he was out of down on family business.  He apologized for the issue and had the correct pan and water heater installed today within 1 hour of our phone call.  I was very impressed with the responsiveness and how well the new water heater was installed and is now working.  

Mistakes happen, and the true measure of a company is how those mistakes are address.  This company went above and beyond once the issue was addressed.

I called Thursday night to have a short water heater replaced.  I was quoted $750 to replace a 38 gallon water heater. I unfortunately had the wrong size. The plumber came out the next day a little over an hour past the time he said he would be there, and took out the old water heater.  After the water heater was out he noticed the new water heater was the wrong size.  Since this happened on Friday afternoon we were without hot water for the weekend.  I asked for a price for the correct 30 gallon water heater but was not told the price until after installation, apparently a 30 gallon water heater is the same price as a 40 gallon heater (according to them) and an additional $125 service charge was added for the Friday miscommunication.  While I do take responsibility for providing the wrong size, it would have been nice if the experienced plumber could have looked at the unit and said it was the wrong size and not charged an extra $125 to leave us with out hot water for the weekend. 
Pros:  Available for next day installation.  Initial price offered was good
Cons:  Showed up late, charge extra for miscommunication on both parties


UPDATE:  When I came home and inspected the work. I found the drain pan is too small for the unit and the drain is not hooked up.  On Friday when they came out the first time they measured the space and told me they would have a unit that would fit.  In addition I found part of the plumbing in my front yard not more then 5 steps from the door.

Called for service for extremely leaky toilet from tank into bowl
(innards had been replaced already). On Nov 9, TJ,  the service tech,
came to our house. He was very courteous, proficient, professional and
knowledgeable. He determined our 1-piece toilet had a small crack
letting water leak out of tank. We discussed our needs for a new toilet
and we also wanted to have our toilet line snaked  the next week. TJ
returned Nov 19 and snaked the line using the roof vent. We are not
replacing the toilet until we find one that meets our requirements for
our small master bath.
Will definitely be using this company for our future plumbing needs. Thanks Angie's List!

It was an awesome experience, they were extremely knowledgeable and took care of everything in a timely matter! We couldn't figure out why our water was just sitting in our sink and why it had such an awful smell to it. They found the problem and in the same day I was able to use my sink again. My garbage disposal was shot and could no longer be used. The man who came by was very professional and well spoken and saved our day!! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and everyone in need of plumbing!

They arrived on time, very courteous explained that the valve cartridge needing to be changed.

I would never use another plumbing company now that I found Total Plumbing Solutions. They are a top notch company!!! All the techs I've dealt with are personable, respectful and hard working!! The owner is honest and offers very reasonable prices. He makes sure his company provides excellent service to their customers. They're definitely impressive and are the best plumbing company around.
