(Redman Fence Co.), is not just a fence company. 99% of customer reviews reference the fencing part of our business, but we do much, much more than that. Also, you are right about us not trying to be the cheapest. To be the least costly, most of the services we give would have to be eliminated, and the customer would end up with a cheap fence. "Its great to get a report from an old customer that shows our products are made to last . If we didn't do all the extras like pre-drilling and lag screwing and using hot dipped galvanized nails and special HD treated wax sealed slats, and of course our quality workmanship, wood fencingwouldn't last long, (in new condition), in our harsh Florida climate. If one drives around any area, looking at wood fences, and it does not have a sign, FENCE BY REDMAN, it's probably in need of repair or replacement if its over a few years old. In fact, many of our customers that are set on vinyl fence change their minds after seeing jobs like yours that have less maintance then vinyl. The saying, "All new brooms sweep clean", is true! "That was a great report! Thanks! We are happy that you mentioned the home improvement stores, (who all use sub contractors.) The main reason we produce such a fine finished product is that we don't use sub contractors, who may come and go, but experienced installers that have all been with us a long time. Some, like William, go back to our beginning in the early 80's, and the others average over twenty years. To me, It is of the utmost importance that prospective customers know, from the outset, what they will be getting and the what the real price is. Changes occur frequently, and we do everything we can to make it a pleasant experience. We want to be there for the initial contact, and planning session, and the follow-up when the job is completed. Once the initial job is done, we want our customers to know that we will be available for anything that may come up even though these things may not be directly related to the fence installation. An example might be advice on staining the fence, or how to keep dogs from digging under the fence. We want our customers to be our customers for life! Terry Redman"

We appreciate you pointing out that although our prices are higher than others companies, our finished product is of superior quality. As a comparison, if Redmans was a restaurant, it wouldn't be a fast food place, but an upscale place where you could go and get quality food and atmosphere. We try to tell prospective customers not to expect us to be the lowest bidders, but to expect the best job. You will notice that all those that gave us less than a 'A' as to price, still went with us and gave us top grades for doing a great job, and would definitely use us again. How grade changes affect the appearance of a fence must be carefully considered.
