After receiving two quotes, Red Cap was the complete package. Quote was midway between other two vendors, some work able to be done same day, remaining work to be scheduled after materials arrive. I look forward to working with Josh again to complete the remainder of the projects. He was helpful, honest and didn't try to oversell services.

My initial interaction with Red Cap was for a sink and toilet installation. There were some problems in that the technician didn't show up on-time and did not complete the project as expected and did not come back when scheduled (I was without sink and toilet during that period of time). This was highly frustrating. When I originally signed up, I purchased the service contract which gives me priority access on future repairs. Since I had already paid for the service contract this past week I had them fix a leaky toilet and my technician John Guzman was fantastic. He restored my interest in the company. Thank you John! The only other thing I would say about RedCap is that they are expensive (2x higher than what you can get elsewhere)

They failed the permit but had no problem calling for payment of $7500.00 They were not even present when the appt they made with city was done to know why they were not passing inspection. Employee Rachel called and asked if I could have the neighbor meet the city inspector, that should have been my sign of their incompetence. Their workers walked off job and never finished, they did not pass lines through walls to meet city guidelines, they did not properly apply for permit and it was 2 months before they realized they failed, they did not fill in huge trenches for running supply lines and they did not reattach supply lines to bathroom sink and test water. My tenants had no hot water proving they did not test out any of the work they had done and realized the circuit was never turned back on. Can I share a dozen photos of incomplete job with you and comments from the city about the failed permit no Red Cap employee was present at that was scheduled by Red Cap? Months after failing they sent a letter to my tenants when any search of property records will show where the homeowner receives their tax bills and you should mail to that address. Why would you mail to the address where you were aware I did not live when you were aware the neighbor would have keys to this rental unit?? They can start project but as other poor reviews state they do not finish them to meet code or customers expectations. Do yourself a favor and hire another plumber, it will save you the homeowner money in the long run.

Responded and came quickly. Knowledgeable, pleasant - did not gouge or do anything that wasn't necessary. Solved the immediate issues and gave us a quote for another job.
