too expensive

I called late afternoon, and they were the only company to send someone out the next day an estimate. He arrived on time and gave me the quote....all though I found it highly overpriced I hired them because they had a same day opening to do the uninstall and new install of a bathroom sink. The Plumber arrived on time and did a great job, he was courteous and professional.

The technician I got was great he is very knowledgeable his customer service skills were awesome. I think the prices are way too high .

22 minutes after the appointed time slot I received a call asking if I was available for a technician to come to my home. I had been waiting for Red Cap all morning. Scheduler did not know the reason why the tech had not been able to make it during the scheduled time period but could send someone else if I had time to wait for them to arrive. ?????

Overpriced.

I like how the technician gave me 3 options before he started the work after listening to all my needs as it pertained to the issue in my master bathroom.

JR was excellent. He was personal and did a great job. Even told me that I didn’t need a new hose, only the connector for the reel box. One thing, company should offer senior citizen discounts. Tough when something breaks and customer is on fixed income. Just a thought. Pam

the technician was very professional , a very nice person. Edit: I hired him again to do the AC for my granddaughter, but they did a very poor job. They even never gave us the remote for it. He's only good with plumbing.

Red Cap Plumbing (Jon B) is absolutely outstanding and extremely knowledgeable. He came in was explanatory and insightful. Not only did he fix the valve issue I threw another job at him to install my new kitchen faucet and he did not hesitate. You know by going into ANY plumbing service it is going to be costly, so prepare accordingly. What you will get for your dollar is expert service, craftsmanship and commitment to the job completion and to your level of expectation. Due to plumbing being a costly venture I highly recommend you sign up for the annual management plan $199.99 and well worth it. You get additional service, priority booking, discounts on service. As a former service member I got a 5% discount which was very generous and appreciated on the total bill. As part of the plumbing annual membership you get a flush of your water heater to remove any sediment and prolong the life of your water heater which can be very costly, take care of it now. Couple this service with your American Home Shield Home Warranty and you will never have to pay full out of pocket for major appliances. The next part of what makes Red Cap superior, they have an AC team as well, basically a 1-Stop-Shop! As part of your annual agreement you get to AC visits to do checks on your system twice. The AC rep Shaun quite possibly is one of the smartest and intellectual contractor's I have EVER come across. He explained the AC Handler, the outside unit and how to increase air flow throughout your house and help yourself breathing wise. At the end of the day here are the high level points 1. Plumbing is costly, so get someone that is there 100% - Red Cap 2. One Stop shop with Plumbing and AC, trust in your home 3. Knowledge and ability to communicate the work is critical 4. Get the home maintenance plan for 199.99! Worth it hand down!

The plumber that showed up was helpful and informative but the company itself charges a high flat hourly rate regardless of the work. So I ended up pay $200 for $30 in parts and 10 minutes of work.

True craftsmanship lives with Eddie, from Red Cap Plumbing! We had (5) items on our punch list, including replacing 30 feet of pipe under our mobile home (there are monsters under there AND he did it in the dark with his trusty coveralls and a few drop lights). He replaced all of the plumbing under our kitchen sink, ran water lines for our new dishwasher, removed, cleaned and resealed our sink, installed a new faucet kit, replaced a bathtub spout, and a pop-up stopper and flange in the bathroom sink. He meticulously performed each task with knowledgeable skill, and the final product was no less then perfect. He even spent 30 minutes at the end of the job cleaning up and removing all of the old materials. By the way, I had another 5-star company provide a job quote, and they were $400 higher and did not include the 30 ft. pipe replacement. In comparison, I got a bargain from Red Cap. I see other reviewers commenting on paying high prices. Look, in this day and age, good craftsmen are a dying breed and it's only going to get worse in the years to come. You can choose to get it done cheaply or you can get it done right. I obviously chose the latter. ***** Two thumbs, way up, for Eddie and Red Cap Plumbing!

Fast and quality service but very expensive. If they lower the prices, would be the perfect plumber.

Red cap sent his plumber Eddie, he is very knowledgeable and did a great job, very nice and polite person. I recommend this company and Eddie.

It sure didn't take long before the toilet became all 'stuffed' up and I'm trying like gangbusters to use my plunger and get the problem resolved. Is their work guaranteed or ensured. I need help. Mr. Z.

They should have sent me an email of their bill like they said they would.
