The work was satisfactory done. However, their strong-arm attitude about payment is abysmal. I and my landlord were sent the attached document BEFORE we received an invoice. The red underlines are made by me. They are threating and demeaning. I have never had such a document from any company. Thus, I beg to differ that is the statement "This is a standard business procedure" (in yellow). I will never use this company and will never recommend them. Daniel A Myers 813 760-6781

Initially the plan was to place the system on the east side of the house. When Dan and Adam got here after assessing the location of the water and electrical requirements for the softening system, they recommended the west side of the house next to the A/C system. This really was a better choice because it is behind our privacy fence. The workers unfortunately had to deal with a bed of small rocks in that area instead of digging the drain in soil. They were able to complete the job even though they had to stay a little longer than 5 PM on that Friday afternoon. Dan I believe was the Red Cap person mainly in charge and he had completed the necessary forms including the serial and model numbers for us to then easily go online to complete the warranty information that night. Red Cap Plumbing generously gave us a new kitchen faucet with hose and covered the installation since the old one had become "calcified" and did not rotate well. Adam was very neat and cleaned up the kitchen area he had worked in so I had little to do except put items back under the sink afterwards.

I contacted your company for a toilet issue around October 8 to schedule service purchased through Angies List. A serviceman came out 10/10 and checked out the lines, etc. All clear. Recommended toilet be replaced. Purchased and installed new toilet. Total cost $497. Next serviceman came to do line check. He said main sewer line was clogged with debris and needed to a hydrocleaned. Provided two options. One approximately $1500, the other $2300, both including cost of installing a clean-out outside of house.. I said I was confused by two different opinions and that I would like a call back from the other service person or a supervisor before either service performed. He said that would be fine, but needed to provided deposit of $400, which I did. Service was tentatively scheduled for following Monday 10/13. At approx 4:55 on Fri 10/10 still had no call and called. The receptionist, a young girl, told me someone would call before service performed. On monday 10/13, no call. I called and spoke with receptionist again. All were in meeting but someone would call before coming out. A serviceman called, I explained history and he said he would come out and make everything right. He did. Two gentlemen came out and assessed. I told them I only wanted main line and check the vents too. He did and said good news it will only cost $1150 because it was simpler job--there already was a clean out outside house. Good, so I had them complete and paid them $1150, figuring two of three though the lines were bad and while I regretted paying $497 for a new toilet when it was the sewer lines, I was happy. I later learned that the deposit check was deposited. So for the $1150 job, I paid an additional $400. I called twice after and talked to the same young girl, two other women. First one said couldn't understand the problem. Second one did, and said she would resolve it and credit back the deposit or call me. Now it is almost two weeks later and no one has called, I have not been reimbursed and I feel like I was worked over, they have my money and have no interest in resolving. I have called twice, explained the problem, and yet they have done nothing. I find this unacceptable.

They saved me over 150.00. They didnt charge me for overnight prices or out of service charges. They were great.

I was promptly scheduled appointment for the following day between 8-12. I hadn't heard from anyone by 1130 on appoinment day so I called and was told they would be here in the afternoon. The first truck arrived at 1:45 and completed clearing the drain line by 2:15. At that time I was advised that the second truck might not make it today and they could be here first thing in the morning. I told the technician that was unacceptable as I couldn't miss another day of work. He stated that they may have to schedule it for Saturday if I wasn't available. The technician said he would pass my concern on to the dispatcher and left the premises. The second truck arrived at 3:15 to do the televisioning of the drains. All employees were professional and polite. The dispatcher did call later in the day to verify that all services had been completed and that I was satisfied.

They rodded it out and advised me that the cast iron pipes were in good shape with very little rust. Both gentlemen were very professional courteous and on time.. I am very pick,y, so to get anything above average grade from me is an amzing feet. I misunderstood the $99 offer, but that was my problem. They we very nice about pointing out what was included in that offer

Repairs went fine but I feel the price was way too high for the effort involved to correct the issue.

Service was great! One of the spigots outside had broken, and water was spraying everywhere. We couldn't get the water to shut off at the main valve, so called at 8:00 this morning, and they had someone here by 10:00. Larry was our service tech, very nice, professional, and had the job done in less than an hour. We were very pleased!

My bathroom sink started to leak on the connection from the shut off valve to the feed line from the wall. The valve and the short piping from the valve to the feed line from the wall needed to be replaced. I called many different plumbers on Angie's list and Red Cap seemed the best price for a Saturday call out. Red Cap Plumbing was able to come out in just less than two hours, which was better than I expected. The tech was great, polite and explained everything from the worst possible outcome to the best outcome (my house was built in 1958). It turned out just the mentioned parts needed to be replaced. The tech asked if there was anything else was needed while he was there. No pressure sale, just the one question to ensure before he left that all was taken care of. I am happy with the service I received from the lady that answered my call to get scheduled, to the tech that did the work. I will use them again when plumbing issues come up.

Red cap came out to address a blockage in sewer line. I had purchased the Angies deal for this, and it was an excellent price because it also included a camera viewing of pipe. Plumber and camera technician were both very polite and courteous. Camera technician gave me a quote for replacement of the sewer line, but upon receiving another quote from a different Angies list plumbing company, I found the Red Cap quote to be $1400 higher for the same work and warranty. Because of this, I will be going with the other company, as their reviews are good also.

Service Specialist was very friendly, did a good job for using only a "Cutterless Snake" on Kitchen side of house. The inspector told me it would cost an additional $1,100.00 for the "4000 PSI Pressure Cleaning"! He then checked for the Bathroom Cleanout, located it, and said that they would Pressure Clean All Drains for $2,300.00! I asked why they did not use a "Cutter" to clean the Kitchen line, and he said Older Homes sometimes have cracks, or be "Broken" or even that some (what, in 1898?) used Tar Paper drains. Having had a Cutter Cleanout about 10 years ago, for about $90.00, I said I was dismayed that they would not even Try to clear it with a Cutter. I told him that I had it done before using a Cutter Cleaner with great results. The Inspector stuck to his guns, and said that only the Pressure Cleanout would do it - Additionally, he said that there was No Guarantee AT ALL for even One Day that the drain would stay open. I was extremely disappointed with this company, especially the "Inspector. Since I own a 3000 PSI Pressure Washer, I checked prices to buy a 100' of the pressure hose used for drain cleaning along with a "Rotating Water Jet Drain Cleaning Head - Total cost about $130.00. Next time.... I'll DO IT MYSELF! This company is a true rip-off, and I would Never Recommend them to anyone. I would never use them myself in the future. They should be DROPPED from the list and close their doors. Because of THEM I will not be renewing my subscription to Angies List. I have since received a rather small book of "Verified Home Services" from TrustDALE.com, for my County only. You guessed it --- RED CAP PLUMBING is not listed!

Guys came out on time, used their camera. Then couldn't show me any of the video but produced a quote for several drain cleanings that they said were needed (bathroom, vent to roof, etc.) I asked them if they cleared anything out (like sewer drain from house to street) as the coupon stated, they said no, it didn't need it. But apparently everything else did with no video? They also said that if I call them back later on that day they can "work on the prices." It was a waste of money and time and I won't use them again. I picked them because of good Angie reviews. I can only think if I was a man things might have gone differently.

Paid for sewer drain-out w/televising thinking it was for jetting. When the plumber arrived I was informed that jetting was a more expensive service. I paid an additional $110 to have it snaked hoping that would be good enough.

He did a good job of discussing my plumbing concerns and explaining what they would be doing. Also asked about other plumbing issues that I might need addressed.

Reese was good teacher, explained all the problem and solutions so that I understood.

They verbally informed us that this would be an ongoing issue, gave quote of 500.00 to run camera's through out our whole system and then go from there. They promised to come snake the current issue, but until I pay for the camera's there is not much they can do for us. We had them back on 8-1-2014 and they stated there is nothing they can help us with. WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

Scheduled an appointment and got the typical Noon to 4 time frame. The service tech was running late but they called to give me a heads up which was nice. Not a problem at all. Apparently though there was a miscommunication somewhere along the line, as they only sent a person that could test the back-flow preventer but not clear the drain. I was really trying to be upset but the Gerald was so nice and helpful it was difficult. He got on the phone right away and had somebody on the way over. Vinny showed up and took care of the clog and was very cordial. Overall it was a very pleasant experience despite the initial front office error.

David and Joe arrived on time, did a thorough inspection, made recommendations for needed work, and did a FANTASTIC job! Both men were friendly, very professional, and instilled a lot of confidence in us that the work was being done correctly. We would definitely recommend Red Cap Plumbing and David and Joe to others. We have joined the Red Cap Service Club, and will ask for both men when we call for our annual inspection next year and in the future.

Showed up on time. Just me several commode repair options from $150 up to $450. While at home, I showed service tech the Angie List coupon on line.Paid tech the coupon price. Work completed in a timely manner. Very happy with service.

They did a good job. It was excellent and outstanding. They do the job and they talk to the customer and they really take care of it. They were fair and reasonable.
