Having lived 36 yrs in FLA. and 35 in Tampa, I can tell you SO many vendors and contractors can be "HIT or MISS." EVEN on Angie's. NOT Peter Sciortino. Peter has forgotten MORE about blinds, valences, and window coverings than most people KNOW. His BLINDS are lifetime guaranteed, and NOT significantly more expensive than the "cheap stuff", when you consider what you are getting. His installation was EXCELLENT, and he CLEANS up and takes EVERYTHING. I initially did 3 rooms in my 4/2 Pool Home. I added 3 MORE on the day of installation, as I was VERY impressed.

I called Peter and he was on a job and called me back later in the day as he promised. I needed an estimate for custom plantation shutters for two front windows and a very large blind for my 8' X 10' patio door. Peter was out the next day and took the time to review options, materials, and samples. No pressure to order. However, I did order because of his promptness, knowledge, and integrity. He quoted lead-times for both the shutters and blinds and was right on time. Installation was quick, clean and of high quality. I caused an issue with the automatic blind after installation and he was on the phone with me quickly to resolve the issue I created. Excellent customer service! Peter did an incredible job carefully measuring each window, making sure the shutters would be properly sized. Communication while the order was in process was perfect, and during the install Peter was very good about identifying any panels with damage, as well as following-up to get them replaced. We contacted Peter Sciortino of New View and he was immediately responsive. When we met, we explained we didn't want vertical blinds as we wanted to be able to maintain as much visibility as possible due to the great view of the backyard in our recently acquired home. Peter suggested retractable horizontal shades so we could use them at night for privacy but retract during the day for the view and access. As always, we shopped other vendors and found that New View's offerings were comparable in quality but at significant savings for us. Once we contracted for New View's services, Peter kept us apprised of when we could expect installation. True to his word, the product was received in a timely manner and installed the day after he received the shades. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Peter has been a delight to work with from start to finish; we wouldn't hesitate to use his services in the future!

Peter was great! He was very professional. He carefully measured our windows and gave us choices of the types, colors, and finishes for the blinds. He even managed to fit a blind for the 12" sidelight by our front door (I thought we would have to go back with another mini blind, but he managed to go with a regular blind). He wore a mask throughout both visits, without our asking. His prices weren't the lowest, but we were impressed with his professionalism and the quality of his products. He explained that it would take about 2 weeks to get the blinds manufactured. He called and installed them himself almost exactly on the anticipated day. They are beautiful! Much better than the old verticals & minis we had! I like that he does his own work, rather than subcontractors. I definitely recommend New View blinds.

We called Peter to come out and check some honeycomb shades that didn't seem to be operating correctly. They were shades he had installed about three years ago. We had taken them down when we had new windows installed recently and something probably went wrong when they were hung back up.... Anyway, Peter came by and was able to fix in a matter of minutes. He is amazing and stands 100% behind the products that he sells. We have had three rooms done by him already and are very pleased with his work. The products are quality and very reasonably priced. If you are in the need for any type of window treatment (blinds, shades, shutters), I highly recommend you give Peter a call and get a free quote. You won't be sorry.

Peter came by and we discussed options with him and he showed up samples. We picked a honeycomb vertical shade that slides on a track. After they arrived he installed the blinds within an hour and they looked great. I will use Peter again when we replace of the existing horizontal blinds. He was a great salesman and installer, a one man operation.

Owner Peter Sciortino is a true professional, meticulous in his approach and did a superb job. He came to our home to measure, show us samples, discussed pros and cons of each and answered all of our questions on 3/10/20. The blinds were installed today 4/3/20. I wasn't home when he installed but my husband told me he had the old window treatments off and new shades installed in a short period of time. When I walked in the door I was in awe of the shades and how much they added to the style of our home, which we bought in early January. I called Peter to let him know how pleased we are. The cost was extremely reasonable considering we have large windows. It also included a black ou backing on master bedroom shades and shades for the sliding glass door as well. I highly recommend Peter & New View
