I had waited for several weeks before I called for the repair. When I finally gave in, Jim was ready to help me the next day, although my schedule held up the repair for another 2 days. He was polite, efficient and I was appreciative of his services.

Jim returned my call within a couple of hours and proceeded to get all the details of my problem. He thought it could be one of a couple issues so he first suggested that I clean the coils underneath the unit to see if that would solve the problem. When that didn't work, Jim came out, arrived right on time, and replaced the thermostat. Since this was sort of trial and error, Jim didn't charge me for anything that day and said he would come back for payment if everything was ok. As it turned out, the relay was bad. It was hard to diagnose at first because the unit was running when he came the first time. The unit has been working fine ever since Jim's second visit. Jim was prompt, polite, and professional. AND...he is honest.

He did a great job, in record time, and at the quoted price. Despite the fact, that it would cause him to lose the job, he told us at the beginning, that it might be more cost, effective to replace the old dryer, as it is more than 20 years old, but we said we wanted to try to fix it.) My husband was amazed at how fast he got the belt replaced. Jim even allowed him to take time to vacuum the inside of the dryer, before he replaced the cover. We will call Jim from now on, if any of our appliances (other than A/C) should break.

Jim was great. He spent a lot of time with me on the phone discussing the issue and what he thought might be needed to repair both problems. I called three other repairmen prior to Jim and didn't need to call anyone else once I spoke with him. My refrigerator is a Whirlpool Gold Series and the manufacturer did not make a replacement kit for the water tube. Jim made his own by using tubing, coupling, etc., and it worked perfectly! I will absolutely use him again and recommend him to others.

Jim was prompt, thorough, and quick about discovering the problem. When he did find the problem, he recommended a new machine, rather than trying to make additional money by fixing the old machine. I would hire Jim's Appliance Repair again for their good service and honesty.

Initially, Mr. Pagliro thought the problem was dust on the intake. He cleaned that thoroughly, but he did mention at that time that it could be the fan going bad. Unfortunately, this repair did require a second visit, but that turned out to be to our benefit, as the relay burned out the day of the repair. Mr. Pagliro replaced the malfunctioning fan with a much better fan, and he replaced the faulty relay, which could have caused us to lose everything in the refrigerator if he had not checked out the system so thoroughly. I did think the initial visit price for cleaning the dust only to be a bit high at $65, but the followup visit that required two part replacements seemed a good deal at $214, especially since a better fan was installed. Mr. Pagliro is knowledgeable and educates the homeowner in the process of the repair. The only minor negative was that we had to wait three days between the repair visits, and Mr. Pagliro did not arrive as early as promised. Overall, two thumbs up!

I called him the night before and he came the first thing the next morning. He found that the defroster switch had gone out and he quickly repaired it. He was very nice, and very knowledge and was able to answer all of my questions. I would definitely use again him in the future.

He gave me a brief rundown on how the particular washer brand I have works and even gave me a quick history lesson on the washer. Jim Pagliro walked me through the process that he used to conclude why the refrigerator wasn't working, explaining to me in terms I could readily understand about why it wasn't operating as expected and showing evidence of the symptoms. I had confidence in his professionalism. Our fridge now works great. He also offered useful hints on operation of cooling settings.

JIM IS A MASTER REPAIRMAN. HE WAS ACTUALLY ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM WITH THE REFRIGERATOR OVER THE PHONE AND DETERMINED IT WAS PROBABLY WORTHWHILE TO REPAIR IT RATHER THAN BUY A NEW ONE! HE WAS EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL, REASONABLY PRICED AND A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT APPLIANCES. HE EVEN LOOKED AT MY WASHER WHILE HE WAS HERE AND LET ME KNOW WHY IT WAS LEAKING AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.
