The laptop I bought for my granddaughter had some rough usage, and it couldn't power up. I had the same problem on my old Acer, so I had a feeling I knew what the problem was. Actually I attempted to take apart the laptop myself, with a youtube video (LOL) but couldn't proceed to open up the insides. Defeated, I turned to Angie's list and found Iform. They had a $59 diagnostic fee and two locations. I called and they told me they did the solder work at the West Waters Ave. location so I brought the computer, screws in a bag, to that location. The gentleman was patient and professional. He googled the power connector, told me things about Gateways (the new Acer) , and I left the computer with a written estimate of $98 inclusive. He did say if the connector was soldered to the motherboard it would cost more. Lucky for me, it was a and quot;plug-inand quot; connector and on Christmas Eve, the following day, it was done. He called for the Windows 8 password after the work was completed. I gave it to him and he optimized the computer, added Avesta antivirus. He did this optimization for free! When I gave it to my granddaughter on Christmas Eve she said it was so much faster than before. I couldn't be more pleased.
PS I told my granddaughter not to pull on the power connector any more!

It is all about customer service! There are numerous computer repair locations and people listed on Angie's list and I think I have found one of the best. Everyone is probably very competent and able to fix computers but it all comes down to how you treat your customers...old and new. ISORM has just earned my business and recommendation to anyone that needs reliable, fast and extremely well priced computer repair work.

After spending 4 days trying to trouble shoot the problems I was having with my laptop, I finally decided to take it somewhere to get it fixed. Unfortunately, I made this decision on a Saturday and the location I have used in the past does not have Saturday hours. I was thrilled when I found ISORM on Angie's list with Saturday hours...BUT then I saw on their website that they were in the process of moving to another nearby location. With the holiday weekend and their move, I figured I would at least drop it off on Saturday with the hopes of getting it back later in the week. When I arrived you could see that they were working through the move and I was told that they were taking in computers but could not guarantee a turnaround time due to the move and the holiday. I explained what was happening with my laptop and turned it in to wait for a call in several day.

Much to my surprise, I received a call within 3 hours! I was reassured that my hard drive was in good condition and my problem had to do with software issues. I was told that that they were working on getting the problems corrected and that I could pick up my laptop prior to their close of business. ISORM - You have no idea how much I appreciate the quick turnaround - even through a move and on a holiday weekend. My laptop is now working better than ever!

We received an estimate via email on the costs to fix/replace a cracked laptop screen. We dropped off the laptop on Saturday morning and the repair was completed in roughly four hours. We are completely happy with the outcome and the cost.

This company is A++ all the way. I dropped my computer off to them in the morning and they had my computer ready by 5pm the same day. My computer runs just as good as the first day I purchased it. Thanks Guys!!

He also builds a very good product if you are in the market to purchase a desktop. Two of his older desktops are still running at my home, compared to the two Compaqs and one Dell that have come and gone during the same period of time.
