Hot 2 Cold is a residential and commercial HVAC company that has 15 years of industry experience. Wayne Geise, the owner, is passionate about the complexities that HVAC systems provide and the ever-changing technology that continues to drive energy efficiency advances within the industry. Wayne opened Hot 2 Cold after working for other large HVAC companies and wanted to operate his business with a higher level of customer service and focusing on a top-notch experience. Hot 2 Cold makes sure that any necessary permits are pulled and insures this burdensome process is as easy as possible for their clients. In the past we had Wayne out and our experience was also excellent.
Another company told us that we would have to replace the air handler and the AC unit at a cost of about $5,000, These guy's were like "why would you do that?"
The office staff is great too.

This is the second time this company came to our rescue. I have never
dealt with anyone who is so understanding. Mr. Giese travelled from
Brandon to Tampa and spent at least 45 minutes trying to locate the
problem on our A/C. Of course, when the doctor arrived, the problem was
no longer there. There may be something wrong with the motor because
apparently when it's on a long period of time, it heats up and we turn
it off. During the cool down period, it fixed itself temporarily but
Mr. Giese suggested I wait to see if it happens again. He did not want
to charge me because he didn't really fix it. Said it would cost over
$300 for a new part. Even though it was not repaired, anyone else would
have taken advantage and charged me for the trip. Gotta love him. I
know I will have to call him back soon but I have to save some money and
will use fans for the time being.

Previously Hot to Cold came out and tried to fix my problem. In that is was not really fixable he did what he could. Spent a couple of hours working on it and then, because he couldn't fix the problem to HIS satisfaction, did not charge me for that visit.
A couple of days later the AC broke again. Wayne came out took a look and then discussed with me the options. We choose to replace the faltering system with a new one.
They were out the very next day (SATURDAY) they worked diligently and continually to, he even got a call for a second job nearby so they split their team and did both jobs.
It was refreshing to meet with Wayne and get to know him. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and at the price he said he would do it at, no surprises. And by the way his price was the least expensive.
There might be some benefit going with the big mega A/C companies around here. But for my money get a excellent quality local company. Develop a personal one on one relationship and you will be more than satisfied, I am.
