Refused to provide service. said the offer should have been pulled. They called angies list (as did I) but I was not refunded my $200

My Husband and I hired High Quality Cleaning Solutions three months after the birth of our Son. With the overwhelm of being a new Mom and my Husband being in a Wheelchair, I needed a little extra help in keeping up with the housework. We hired them to clean the entire home once every other week and remained with this company for a little over a year. It was quite rocky from the start. The cleanings were on a different day every other week and it was usually never the same two Women who would come to clean the house. This resulted in inconsistencies in the cleanings that would take place each time. We ended up favoring one specific Woman who was very kind and did a very thorough job on our home. I inquired with the owner about the prospects of having that specific Woman to come and clean our house more often. She informed me that she would try but scheduling sometimes would not allow that as many of her other clients liked this Woman as well. That specific Woman we really liked ended up not being available at all. At that time, my Husband and I had considered discontinuing High Quality cleaning solutions to look into other companies. We expressed that our needs were not being met and that the scheduling and different sets of cleaners was frustrating and that we would prefer morning cleanings as to be able to have the evenings to ourselves. The owner offered to have her Mom come and do our cleanings as her Mom worked alone and could come every other Monday in the morning. We thought this might be a viable solution to our needs. From there on, the cleanings were pretty consistent but there were things that were often times missed and with us investing to have the house cleaned, we wanted to make sure that we were getting the most out of our investment. Many times we noticed our Sons handprints were left on the two large glass doors in our living room area in addition to the other glass pieces of the furniture - to include our glass coffee table. I reached out to the owner to make sure that these areas could get the attention every cleaning. This was not received well as the owner called me and expressed that she found it very unusual that her Mom would miss something like that and that her Mom is a very good cleaner. I felt that this was very confrontational and as a client, it left me feeling like our expectations were highly unrealistic and that I was being dishonest. She then said she would make sure her Mom would clean the glass areas but that they do NOT clean the exterior glass of the door. So, the interior glass would be cleaned of fingerprints and I would have to go back to clean any prints on the outside of the glass after her Mom would leave. I started to notice streak marks on the pictures hanging on our walls. It looked as if a micro fiber was dipped in the mop water bucket was used to wipe down the frames and glass, which left water streaks. This was also noticeable on some furniture as well. I would have to go back and clean our hanging pictures and wipe the streaks from the furniture. I messaged the owner and reiterated which cleaning products I wanted used on the furniture - which was discussed during our initial walk through of our home when we hired her. I also started to notice stain lines in our toilet bowls from where the toilet bowl cleaner was applied and left to run down and then never scrubbed out. We had to use CLR a few times to try and remove the stains from the bowl. I noticed the mop water bucket in which she used all over the home was dumbed into our kitchen sink following the cleanings - which was leaving gunk in the sink stops. I feel this defeated the purpose of her having scrubbed out the kitchen sinks only to dump the dirty mop water down our clean kitchen sink rather than the toilet. One of the most frustrating things my Husband and I experienced was that when we'd reach out to the owner, which was always through text, we would almost never get a response back. I'd give her ample time of at least a day or two to respond before having to follow up with a text to make sure she received my message regarding the cleanings. I found this highly unprofessional. We also did not like the payment method. Many companies have gone online and we prefer this type of method. High Quality does not offer this. We would write out a check for her Mother to take each cleaning. The owner made it very clear that we were to put the check in an envelope because she did not want her Mother to see how much she quoted us to pay - which made us feel uncomfortable. A few times we were asked by the Mom if a day could be switched or if she could come later in the evening. With a very busy schedule, sometimes this would allow us to do this. In the end, the Mom decided to quit cleaning our home because she thought it was unfair that we could not commit to have her come and clean our home on a day in which we thought would be ok prior. In the end it was still THEIR schedule issues that continued to pose problems for us as the clients. The owner still had the audacity to offer other people to come and clean our home after expressing that her Mom thought we were being unfair and inconsiderate of her personal needs. Working with High Quality Cleaning Solutions was less than satisfactory and we realize that we should have discontinued their services earlier on.

No service performed

They wouldn’t come to Lakeland. First they wanted to charge me additional for coming to Lakeland then they decided not to come. Tampa to Lakeland....to far? Come on. Then why advertise. And shame on Angie’s List. 2nd time this has happened to me.

They did a great job.

After the ladies spent their efficient time cleaning the house. We decided based on their quality of work and time spent cleaning to use this company for biweekly cleaning service. The ladies were very professional and kept on pace the whole time. We are very pleased with the outcome.

It was cost efficient. The work was done pretty quick, about an hour and half. They sent two people for the work.

This company sent 2 cleaners for 3 hours. To our surprise, when we went to the apartment to make one last inspection before we dropped off the keys, we saw that it was a "horrible" cleaning job and I mean "horrible" for 2 professional cleaners at 3 hours of work. I called the cleaning company and they refused a refund and I called Angie's List customer service and they refused a refund as well. Angie's List said the ONLY way to get a refund was to sign up for their gold package or something that costs $100+. I explained to both places that we have a ton of time-stamped photos of the "cleaning job" and they were not interested at all. We are now having to pay $250 for the company that owns the apartment to clean it properly. $250 from the apartment and $150 from this hack job cleaning service. That's $400 we had to dish out for a tiny apartment to be cleaned properly....... First and last time using Angie's List! Attached are some of the photos of their services.

They got back to me quickly and were able to work in my short time window. Cleaned my whole house very thoroughly! I had no idea that my previous cleaners were so lax in their efforts. I needed additional cleaning done so we were able to get them back the following day to complete the work at a far price.

Very good service. The ladies were very professional and the work was better than I initially expected. This is a third service we have used and definitely the best!

First day went great. Told the company a Ms. Ladie to have the same women come every time. She called me when she came called me when she left. The second time she did neither. I came home mid day to pick up cooler and there was no one in the house. When I came home in the evening I saw that she had come to clean. The next day I received a text message stating the hours she had been there. I called Ms Lady to see if there was a typo in the hours being that I had stopped by the the house and saw no one. I also did not receive a call for when someone went in and someone came out. She verified that the lady was there and the her cleaning suppliers where by the front door and she was on the third floor. I paid the company. I called the company and spoke to Ms. Lady she verified with me that the same cleaning lady was going to be at my house he next day 10:30am. When I hung up with her I called the cleaning lady to verify some change I wanted done in my kids room. She had then told me that she's no longer working with the company and returned my house key. I called Ms.Lady back and she went on and on with excuses. I don't know about anybody else but personally I rather not have my house key passed around and around from employee to employee when I specifically asked for the same person and then lied to being told the same woman was coming when she already quit. I do not recommend this company to anyone. The price may be right but my belonging, security and trust where violated and that's not ok.

It worked out just fine. It was performed for our Texas home. It was fine. The workers were fine.

They offered to do whatever is needed, laundry, bed linen changes, stacking and folding in addition to mopping, vacuuming and cleaning the bathrooms.

Went great came in and did a really professional job and were prompt and worked very hard.
