The hot water heater flush went smoothly. The master bathroom sink repair took a while because the angle was tricky, but also went smoothly. The guest bathroom toilet leak appeared to be due to a rusted bolt. The plumber removed the tank; since the toilet was 15 years old, I opted to have a new internal mechanism installed, too, and I kept the serviceable old parts in case the master bathroom toilet needed an easy repair. However, the tank seemed to continue to leak. I was about to go away for a few days, so I drained the tank. While I was away, Chuck called me on the cellphone to see how things had gone. I explained the persistence of the leak and made an appointment to have a plumber come to see what was going on. The second plumber discovered a small crack in the toilet tank. The first plumber had either not seen the crack or actually caused it when he tightened the tank bolts. The second plumber admitted immediately that they were responsible either way, and located a replacement tank. He was able to get and install the new tank that same day, at no expense to me. In addition, the new tank came with a lid, so I have a spare lid in case one of the two toilet lids cracks. Both plumbers were punctual, courteous, and cleaned up. I greatly appreciated the follow-up and acknowledgement of responsibility. And the guest bathroom toilet is fine! I intend to call Chuck's Plumbing again when it's time for another hot water heater flush or to have it replaced - it's about 8 years old.

Flat charge for the cartridge replacement. East job put could not do myself

I hired them to inspect and clean my hot water heater, which had not been inspected since I bought the house. The guy who showed up was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and professional. He explained some things about my water heater and how to check it, and noted that it was pretty old (it is), and told me how long they generally last. He showed me that there was a cracked handle on one of the valves but that it was not that big of a deal. He told me of the various options for a replacement water heater, if I was interested, but did NOT pressure me in any way. I really appreciated that.

They were very prompt and did an excellent job at installing my water heater in a cramped condo space. The price was very reasonable. The problem was that that they also offered to fix other minor issues such as a leaky faucet (questionable) and to change a stiff under sink water shut off valve. The prices to fix these issues that were not emergency nor required (maintenance) were extremely overpriced. I asked to speak with the owner as he was quoting the prices to the technicians and he said that he had to charge this much because he has to keep inventory on his trucks. When I stated that I myself am knowledgeable about these services and the cost of the parts and he was charging way too much he became agitated and mean. I do not normally review negative services that I purchase but for some reason I keep getting requests for a review. Here up go. The price for the water heater install was in my opinion a bait and switch tactic to get in the condo and then over charge for extra, unnecessary items.

They made 2 visits and studied the pipes in our house until they understood what had been done. It's so nice to be able to fill the bathtub in 5 minutes as opposed to 30. I do have to watch the water temperature now because I would run out of hot water before the bathtub was filled. It turns out our water softener had been put in backwards. They bypassed the softener to make sure that was causing the problem and boy was it. They'll be back to install a new one this week. I've also been pushing them to see if they would take on our bathroom remodel. I haven't gotten an answer yet, but I hope they will. I'd recommend these guys to anyone. They will from now on be the only place I call for plumbing issues.

Chuck was very responsive and scheduled my service as soon as possible. The technician who provided the service was professional, knowledgeable, and tidy. I was very pleased with the service provided.

Cleveland was very professional, courteous and pleasant. He obviously was experienced and was able to do a little carpentry work on the back of the cabinet for the plumbing to fit. The sink looks great and fits in perfectly. We would definitely call on Chuck's Plumbing again.

I wish that I could provide all of the details other than to say that they went out of their way to help. Chris, the plumber from the company, was excellent. The company's customer service was excellent throughout the process.

This is the second time that we use Chuck's services. We called back on them because the first time we were very please with the job the plumber, Bobby, did. Again, this time he was very pleasant, friendly and worked diligently for over two hours. Bobby did a beautiful job. He left the place spotless and he, even offered to take the many boxes, the toilet came in, with him. Of course, we'll called Chuck's Plumbing again. Thank you!

We woke up to find our water heater spewing water in the garage. We consider Chuck's to be our "go to" plumbers based on previous experience. As usual, they exceeded expectations. They were able to send a technician within 2 hours of our call. The technician was knowledgeable and meticulous in his work. He went the extra mile by replacing all the pipes, gas line, and shut off valves associated with the water heater; all inclusive - no nickle-diming us to death. He instantly deducted the TECO rebate of $350 from the total so we would not have to go through the hassel of submitting the rebate ourselves. The work was completed in a timely way and was excellent. All packaging and old parts were removed, and general area cleaned. Chuck's Plumbing has been the best to us, hands down. We highly recommend them.

Too involved to relate at this time.

This is the second time I used Chuck's Plumbing. Both times they were on-time, polite, and professional. Provided a detailed estimate so I knew exactly what I was paying for. Very neat while working and took the time to explain what was being done and educated me so I could handle less involved jobs myself. The only question that came up was the advertised Angie's List discount of $30. On phone I was told the service fee ($29) is waived if work is done and I would receive Angie's discount on labor. At time of payment the office told serviceman I could have either the service fee waived OR the Angie's discount. That is not spelled out on the Angie's List page and not what I was told at the time I booked the appointment. That was the only disappointing part of this transaction.

I had the toilet at the contractor's desk at my local Lowe's and Chris picked it up for me. Everything went very well. Front office staff, Jasmine and Barbara, were wonderful. Plumber, Chris, was great. I asked that the plumber wear boot covers and he had them with him and used them even though that is an inconvenience. He had a great personality and mind you this was on Christmas Eve. Toilet is working as advertised. No mess anywhere. Con: More expensive than I really anticipated. I thought plumbing was about $100.00 per hour in 2015 Tampa and this had to have been about $150.00/hr approx. I know you get what you pay for, but when I am not in an emergency, will consider the cost for my other plumbing needs--which at this point are numerous. NO MILITARY DISCOUNT

I got an Angie's List special to have my drain unclogged and a camera check down the drain. The service was excellent and the plumber was very professional and knowledgeable. They came and did exactly what I paid for and didn't try to sell me anything. I have a lot of sewer/drain issues, probably due to the age of the home and two large trees in the are of the sewer line outside. I asked for a couple of different quotes to fix the problem but they all seemed a bit on the high side. In the future I would call them again if my sewer/drain lines backed up.

The "person" answering the phone was mean, rude an nasty. Why would I want to spend $1000's with a company who would rudely charge me just to look at my job!

After scheduling with Chuck's, I received an email confirmation with all details of our appointment time, and also a photo of the plumbing technician who would be servicing our property. The photo included his name and the date he passed his most recent background screening. The technician arrived on time, spoke to me at length to determine and isolate the issue, and resolved the problem by using the auger to clear the line. We have had the auger run regularly in our old copper plumbing to clear blockages. What was exceptional was that this technician took the extra step of isolating the exact area of the problem and scheduling a camera technician to see what the blockage consists of. This is a free service and will help us map out a plan to resolve the issues. Chuck's charges by the job performed, not the amount of time spent. this was lucky for us, as it took the technician quite awhile to address the problem and resolve it correctly. We are very happy with this provider and feel they go above and beyond to define the cause and resolve the problems.

I was able to get service the same day that I called and they were on time or a few minutes early. Options were given and work was done to my satisfaction. I have used them before and will continue to call with my plumbing needs.

Setting up appt was easy. I also liked getting the Seal of Security and Confidence Certificate when I set up the appt. The plumber was nice and did good work. The part I had a problem with was not knowing what I was paying for. Chuck does not separate parts from labor. He also did not call me when parts were in-I had to call to schedule. It took 2 weeks to get work done. And he did not credit me for charging me $78 to put on a toilet seat. When I called to ask for the credit Chuck said they do not usually charge for something as simple as putting on a new toilet seat as long as you do other work.

On October 21, 2015 I was given an estimate of $ 1027.00 repair unseen ( because it was under the floor) to repair a broken hot water pipe, the estimator figured that they would be able to cap off the broken pipe and reroute the hot water line through the wall and I agreed to proceed and scheduled the repair for Tuesday 10/27/2015. The plumber arrived and after seeing what needed to be done and reviewing the estimate, begin working and had to remove about 20sq ft. of drywall ( I had already removed the vanity, laundry sink, washing machine and removed the drywall in those area's) he ran about 20 feet of new 3/4" hot water line and was able restore the water. Than he gave me my Bill for $ 1,627.00, Of course I questioned the Bill but he said that would be the amount so I paid him. I mailed a letter on Friday 10/30/2015 to Chuck and provided pictures of the work completed and asked him to review the work that had been completed and charge me a Fair Price for what was done. Today Is 11/27/2015 and still no response for Chuck, I guess he would have been more forth coming if I hadn't paid the Bill. (my mistake) All I'm asking for is a Fair Price from Chuck.
