Borter Glass was professional, prompt, and provided an excellent value for the money. We would do business with them again!

Fantastically well! I was referred to them by a contractor that did work on my house. I called Borter on Monday morning first thing, took the patio frame to them by 1100 and they had the glass installed and ready for pick up by 3pm on the same day! The receptionist, Don, was pleasant, thorough and gave me an estimate that was the final price. The men loaded the finished patio door into my truck and helped me strap it down (I was there without my husband). The price was very reasonable and they were reliable! I've already recommended them to one of my neighbors who needs glass work done!

We remodeled our master bath. The work performed by our contractor, Bath and Kitchen Gallery, included remounting the glass shower door after the remodel with new oiled rubbed bronze hardware. I had ordered the new hardware from Borter since they had originally built and installed the door with polished brass hardware 11 years ago . This is a 3/8and quot; thick tempered door measuring 36and quot; X 64and quot;. The contractor installed the door and the door made some very loud cracking noise when opening or closeing. We were afraid to use it because we thought the door might shatter. Also, somewhere along the process a small chip occurred on the bottom of the door near one corner. I called the contractor and advised I was calling Borter to repair the glass chip and check why the door was making a cracking noise. The contractor said they would deduct the Borter Glass charge from my final payment for the remodel. Borter came out and the technician ground the chip out (looks much better) and checked the hinges. He said the top one was making the noise and he took the hinge apart but could not fix the problem. Borter reordered two hinges and came out yesterday to replace. This solved the problem. I asked if the hinge dealer replaced the hinges because the first ones were bad and the technician told me that Borter had to purchase them. There was no additional charge to me. Door hardware: $221; Borter's service charge: $125.

I called Borter Glass at approximately 10:30 a.m., and they were at my home by 1:30 p.m. the same day. They installed a temporary glass and came back one week later to install the permanent pane.
Borter Glass has done work for me before and this time as always they were professional, responsive, and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this company and if needed, will use them again in the future.

We needed a glass window repaired ASAP. I called a local handyman that I've seen in my neighborhood and he referred me to Borter glass. After reviewing them on Angie's list and calling several other companies, Borter was the most willing and able to accommodate my schedule and urgency. They did a great job at a great price! I definitely recommend them!
I went back to the handyman to thank him for the great recommendation and he told me he only recommends the best. This was one of the easiest and best service calls I've ever made, hands down.

Perfect fit ,great edges

Renovating rental property. Had to have windows repaired before renting. Called, had an appointment within one week, arrived on time and completed job within in one hour.

Everything was fine except they showed up an hour and a half late and didn't call. They also did not clean up very well, leaving shards of glass on my front porch. If I use them again, I will make sure they do a better job of cleaning up.

I called Border Glass after calling 5 other companies that couldn't get to me until the following week. They were able to repair the window 2 days later and charged my card the following day. I didn't have to be there to oversee, and the window looks like it was never broken.

We here looking for a company that could customize and install glass shelves. We noticed the Borter Glass truck in our neighbor hood and asked if they could stop by and look at the work we wanted done. The owner actually stop by with-in 10 minutes and stated they could do the work but needed to come back for exact measurements to give us a quote. After many calls to Borter Glass and speaking with the support person we never received a return call. Each time the person on the phone apologized for no one getting back to us and even stated the owner would get back to us and that they wanted the job. Well after 3 weeks of back and forth and never receiving a call we are now looking for another company.
The person on the phone was very polite and kept apologizing that we never received a return call and said it was out of her hands and not sure why we did not receive a call.

Each bathroom was very different, and each turned out great! The thickness of the glass was better than expected, and the installation team was extremely skilled. We have an older home that requires skill. Nothing in our home is plumb or square, but thanks to Borter, my bathrooms now look and function like show bathrooms! The work was done as expected and delivered when promised. We could not be more pleased!

Called and received estimate on 1/3/2012. Scheduled repair for morning of 1/4/2012. Repair person arrived on time and completed the job quickly and professionally.

I'm very pleased with the results. They were professional when measuring and also when installing. The new glass is beautiful. I did not expect a month to go by between measuring and installing. But we have it, and we like it.

They made the shelves while I waited, and were courteous and professional.

I came in first thing this morning to get a piece of mirror fit to a frame I have for my bathroom, and I was in and out of the door in less than 10 minutes! Ridiculous! And they didn't assume that I wanted to trash the original glass or matting that was in the frame, and made sure that I didn't need it anymore (which I didn't.) Borter Glass rocks my socks off!

I was greatly impressed by the sincere desire to help with this issue, and with the owner's appearance on-site within an hour or so of the original service call. He made the repair quickly, and was very friendly and entirely professional. He was able to secure the home quickly (the broken pane was near a lock that could be easily unlocked if someone were to reach through the opening) and finished the entire project as promised in a very timely manner.

The office staff was pleasant, polite and helpful in setting and appt but the installer was late. After he fixed the broken glass, he left without letting me know he was finished, having me inspect the work or sign anything. I had no further contact with the company after that other than my credit card being billed. I don't think this is typical of this company, based on their overall demeanor, but it was off-putting.

I have used them in the past and they did an excellent job, but I decided not to use them on this occasion, as their price was slightly more than the company I chose to use.

Service was fine and charge was same as estimate
