I think that Air Rescue is a NOT very good company, they are very professional and very nice. Their goal is to make the customer happy. Their manager Heather is awesome and unfortunately in life not everything goes "normal". I did get frustrated regarding the new unit and was very disappointed in Mr. Thornsberry (who sold us the unit) did not follow up, that to me is poor customer service. I felt as though he sold us a vehicle and off we go. Any salesperson should have proper etiquette. I also spoke to the Operations Manager Steve, who understood my frustration. I really don't want to make anymore calls and don't want to see the little yellow bus at my home for a while.
Description of Work: I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. These services were performed from 8/4/2012 to 9/10/2012. On August 4, 2012 (Job #406175), our air was not working, a technician was out in 15 minutes, he inspected the unit and diagnosed that a single capacitor needed to be replaced $169, On 8/17/2012 (Job #407194), our air stopped working again, the technician came out at 12 am and diagnosed that a double capacitor was needed $97. On 8/25/2012 (Job #407905) the technician came out inspected the unit and diagnosed that the reversing valve was stuck. He tried and tried to get it unstuck, but to no avail, nothing he did worked. It was determined that the reversing valve it needed to be replaced, cost of service call $79.00, estimate of replacement $1,127. My husband and I came to the conclusion that our air needed to be replaced, due to the fact we had had the system since 1991. Therefore, Mr. Thornsberry came out (Job #407931) to sign a contract for replacing the unit for the next day 8/26/2012. My husband asked Mr. Thornsberry if the wiring needed to be replaced, his answer was no. Cost of unit $6,992. Antione came out on 8/26/2012 (Job #407949), he is a very hard worker and needs to be commended, the job took approximately 12 hours, due to the fact he was working alone. When the unit was replaced, it did not work. Another technician David (Job #407969) came out and diagnosed the problem that the wiring needed to be replaced. David fixed the wiring temporarily and we were told that someone would come back the next day to rewire the system. No one came or called, we had to call and schedule an appointment for the wiring to be replaced. On 8/28/2012 (Job #408069) a technician came out to "check" the system, but not to redo the wiring, his diagnoses was that the TXU may be bad. On 8/29/212 (Job#408147) a technician came to rewire the system, my husband asked about the motor blowing too fast, but according to the technician, he did not see any problems. After all of this, the system was not cooling appropriately. I called again and set up an appointment on 9/1/2012 (Job #408440) and asked for the best technician in the company. David was very thorough, the temperature in our home was different in every room, he slowed the blower to proper speed and suggested that we replace all the grills in the home for proper air distribution. On 9/10/2012 (Job # 409038)Antione came out to resolve our problems. It was determined that our home needed 4 returns, replace 10 supply grills and 3/8" line for the heat. I spoke to Steve Cox the operations manager at Air Rescue. I spoke to him once before and his demeanor was quite different. He wanted payment for 3/4 of the original bill of $6,992. I did not agree, he wanted me to pay for the new installations that was needed. Mr. Thornsberry should have known what we needed and should have included that in the bill. I cannot say I have respect for Mr. Cox, I am the customer and if I were to pay in full, these additional items would not be addressed. I think some of the techs need to take additional classes regarding air conditioning.......
