Description of Work: I GOT HOME FROM WORK LAST AT AROUND 8:30PM AND MY HOUSE WAS VERY HOT. DISCOVERED MY AIR DID NOT WORK. I WAS NOT SURE WHO TO CALL ESPECIALLY SINCE I HAVE HEARD SO MANY BAD STORIES FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD BAD EXPERIENCE FROM AIR CONDITIONING COMPANIES. I REMEMBER A FRIEND FROM WORK THAT SPOKE HIGHLY OF ANGIES LIST AND SAID YOU CAN TRUST THEM. SO I LOOK FOR THE MAGAZING THAT HE GAVE ME AND CALL ACTION AIR CONDITIONING WHO HAD AN AD THERE. I CALL RIGHT AWAY AND A NICE LADY ANSWERED. I TOLD HER MY PROBLEM AND THAT I NEEDED SERVICE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS ALL BOOKED UP FOR THE NEXT DAY SHE ARRANGED TO HAVE MY AIR CONDITIONER LOOKED AT AND SCHEDULED EARLIER THAN THEIR NORMAL WORKING HOURS. A REPRESENTATIVE WAS OUT FIRST THING THAT MORNING. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND FIX IT WITHIN 30 MINUTES. IT WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE BREAKER AND HE REPLACE THE PART AND NOW IT IS AS GOOD AS IT CAN BE.

Description of Work: AIR CONDITIONER WAS NOT WORKING AND WE WERE FEARFUL WE NEEDED A NEW COMPRESSOR. MIKE (THE SERVICE TECH) TOLD US WE ONLY NEEDED A NEW THERMOSTAT -AND HE WAS CORRECT. OUR AIR CONDITIONER IS NOW WORKING BETTER THAN EVER. WE HAD RECEIVED ANOTHER ESTIMATE WHERE A COMPANY CLAIMED THEY HAD TO TAKE OUR AIR HANDLER OUT AND CLEAN IT FOR ALMOST $1000 - LUCKILY WE DETECTED THAT THE SERVICE TECH BECAME REALLY EXCITED WHEN HE CALLED IT IN AND WE SUSPECTED THAT HE WOULD RECEIVE A COMMISSION ON THE WORK. WE WILL NOT HIRE ANYONE FOR WORK UNLESS THEY ARE ON ANGIE'S LIST.

Description of Work: Back in August I had hired Action Air to replace an air handler & air condenser for my new home. Paul was great! They did an excellent job with the installation. After the installation was complete, I saw that there was a coupon in the book for their services. I tried to call the company to see if they could honor it for me. I spoke with someone there, which they insisted that some one would call me back. They never did. All -in all, I was very happy with the work, but upset with the professionalism.

Description of Work: I would do business with them any time. Very professional & ethical. Technician misjudged size of unit needed , based on my enormous input. Owner personally came out & reviewed situation, took responsibility ("Were the pros, not you. Its up to us to get it right") Replaced newly installed unit with correct size & saw that I got all rebate, $450.00. They are great!!
