They are great when it comes to response time. They seem to always have someone answering the phone, and the technicians seem pretty competent. The only issue I've had with them is that they told me that they don't warranty work they do on drain line leaks, so I would have to pay the diagnostic fee every time they came out, even if they fixed the wrong thing or didn't completely address the problem the first time they came out. They did have to come out multiple times to fix the same problem, and I had to pay them each time.

Excellent experience. Very professional and helpful. Arrived on time, and resolved problem promptly. Very courteous, even wearing "booties" over shoes to prevent soiling carpet. Will definitely use again

I called and asked them to send someone out to quote me on repairing or replacing my AC ductwork at my business in Tampa. A rep was supposed to show up that Friday but it was raining. I did get a call that he couldn't make it that day but no one ever showed up the following week either. It is now three weeks later. Hopefully this was just an oversite and other potential clients get the attention I was hoping to get.

My experience with A/C can be summed up with one word - limited. My 3 year old home had its A/C unit checked when I bought it (it was put in by Nuccio which is down the street from me.) My upstairs unit A/C shut off. I called Nuccio and they could get me an appointment in 2 weeks. My wife suggested I call Action from Angie's list. I did, the service lady was great and told me someone would try to be there that same day after call at 9:00. At 3 pm Ken showed up. He was able to diagnose quickly and fix my sludge problem. He recommended I pour 1 cup of bleach in the pipe to clean them out monthly. Thanks Ken.

They were very prompt and courteous. They answered any question I had and did not try to ''sell'' anything else to me. They just supplied me with the answer to what we would need when we purchase another unit. I will buy the unit from them when the time comes.

Our central air was not cooling properly. We called Action Air based on their Angie's List rating. We received same day service. Steve arrived and took the air pressure, added coolant to our A/C unit and monitored the temp of air coming out of the vents. Prompt, good service. We'll contact Action Air in the fall to clean out our air ducts.

Nelson and his partner were courteous, timely and let me know what was going on at all times. They showed up when they said they would and finished the job when they said they would. I would recommend action air to anyone who needs AC repair or service.

Good response time, clean and quick work. Did maintenance work that their scheduler originally said might have to be scheduled for July or later.

They gave me an estimate. Their top in Trane Sales, and they got the Trane Top Dealer in 1995 and #1 Volume Dealer in 2001 all the way to 2005. I've decided to go with them. They said they would clean the air ducts which is a savings of $200.00.

They're prompt and knowledgeable and happy to answer questions and explain. Their suggestions even saved me some money. Price reflects annual cost.

The workers completed the job in the time estimated, cleaned up after completion, and were very polite and pleasant.

The salesperson and the techs were friendly, informative and punctual. When given the estimate, Jeff gave me five different options and pricing. The other companies I had bid only gave one and were approximately $1K higher for labor. The techs did an excellent job of installation, removal and cleanup.

I had an extremely positive experience. Both the initial representative and workers the next day were unfailingly professional, polite, careful of my belongings and prompt. The price was the best of several companies I contacted by far.

They were very helpful and informative. We just bought the house and he was able to tell us a lot about our system. It was good value for the price.

Steve went out of his way to provide information during the weekend (of course, the heatpump went out on Saturday) and met me at work to review the quote. This was highly appreciated, since I work 20 miles from home and was unable to leave work during normal business hours. They really worked around my schedule for the quote and installation. Steve also quoted the appropriate sized heat pump. Another company quoted an oversized unit, which would have cost an additional $2000 and would have been less efficient than the one we purchased from Action Air.

I can't talk enough about how great they are. They installed the unit in one day and all of their employee's are punctual, friendly, and helpful. The unit itself is a top-notch 14.5 SEER Trane. I've had one service call since the unit was installed and they double-checked everything for free. (There was nothing wrong with the unit. The outside breaker had tripped. D'oh!)

I'VE ALWAYS HAD GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM IN MAINTAINING MY OLD SYSTEM, SO I WANTED AN ESTIMATE FROM THEM. THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE FOR HUGELY EXPENSIVE SYSTEMS AND DIDN'T TELL ME THAT NONE OF THE SYSTEMS THEY WERE TRYING TO SELL ME WOULD NOT FIT IN THE EXISTING CLOSET, WHICH WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN UNEXPECTED AND LARGE COSTS OVER THE ESTIMATE.

THEY DID THE YEARLY MAINTENANCE THIS YEAR PROPERLY, HOWEVER, WE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS IN THE PAST. THEY INSTALLED THE SYSTEM (TRANE 13 SEER) NEW IN 1999. THE SECONDARY AIR INTAKE WAS NOT DRAWING AIR. THE UNIT LEAKED WATER ONTO THE CEILING, WHICH ACTION NEVER REPAIRED. AFTER THREATENING TO CALL CHANNEL 8, THEY CAME AND CORRECTED ALL THE PROBLEMS. IN 2004, WHEN THE YEARLY MAINTENANCE WAS DUE, THE LAZY EMPLOYEE DID SOMETHING THAT MADE ALL THE FREON LEAK OUT OF THE SYSTEM. THE AIR HANDLER ICED UP. THEY HAD TO COME BACK AND RECHARGE THE SYSTEM. IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE 10 YEAR WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS OF YEARLY CLEANING, I WOULD TRY AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE.

THE TWO INSTALLERS WERE EXCELLENT. THEY WERE EFFICIENT, COURTEOUS, CLEANED UP WELL AFTER THEIR WORK. THEY CALLED BEFORE THEIR SCHEDULED ARRIVAL TIME TO ADVISE US OF THEIR ETA. THEY PROVIDED A CONCISE PROPOSAL AND CAME UNDER THE OTHER 2 ESTIMATES WE RECEIVED. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN WITHOUT HESITATION.

WHILE IT'S NEVER FUN HAVING TO SPEND $$ FOR UNEXPECTED BUT MUST-HAVE HOME REPAIRS, I DO FEEL THAT MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS BUSINESS WAS POSITIVE. THE OFFICE STAFF WERE COURTEOUS ON THE PHONE. MIKE, THE TECH, WAS PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE & PUNCTUAL. I WILL USE AGAIN IN THE FUTURE IF THE NEED ARISES.

I HAD ACTION AIR INSTALL A NEW SYSTEM AT ONE PROPERTY LAST YEAR. IT WASN'T UNTIL THIS YEAR WHEN IT STOPPED COOLING AND I HAD ALREADY SWITCHED TO JEAN'S, I FOUND OUT THEY DIDN'T INSTALL IT CORRECTLY. WHEN I CALLED THE OFFICE TO LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEM (I DIDN'T WANT ANY FINANCIAL REIMBURSEMENT), THE OFFICE LADIES SCREAMED AT MY FOR QUITE A WHILE. I PUT THE PHONE DOWN UNTIL I COULD HEAR THE YELLING STOP. WHEN I PICKED THE PHONE UP I ASKED THEY STOP SCREAMING AT ME, WHICH STARTED HER YELLING AGAIN. I HUNG UP AND WILL NEVER CALL AGAIN. JEAN'S LET ME KNOW THE UNIT THEY PUT IN LAST YEAR WAS MANUFACTURED 5 YEARS AGO. MUST HAVE BEEN JUST SITTING IN THE ACTION WAREHOUSE. AT ONE RENTAL, IT TOOK SEVERAL TRIPS TO TRY TO CLEAN OUT THE DRAIN LINE. THEY RECOMMENDED I GET A NEW SYSTEM. I HAD JEAN'S COME OUT TO CLEAN THE DRAIN LINE CORRECTLY. JEAN'S TOLD ME I DIDN'T NEED A NEW UNIT AND IT HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT ALL SUMMER.

THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF CLEANING UP INCLUDING EVEN SWEEPING THE GARAGE FLOOR.

THEY CAME RIGHT OUT AND SERVICED MY A/C AND ACTUALLY HELPED ME FIND ANOTHER COMPANY THAT I HAD BEEN USING THAT I HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO CONTACT.

MIKE WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AS WELL, AS VERY FRIENDLY. HE EXPLAINED WHAT HE FOUND AND HOW HE WOULD GO ABOUT FIXING IT. WE HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS COMPANY'S WORK! I CAN'T COMMENT ON THE PRICE AS I HAD NOTHING TO COMPARE IT AGAINST. I DIDN'T GET A SECOND OPINION. I FEEL IT WAS WORTH THE MONEY BEING WE WERE TREATED VERY WELL AND THE AC WAS FIXED IN A VERY REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME.

THE JOB DID NOT PASS INSPECTION, TWICE. THEY TOOK AN UNREASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME TAKING CARE OF WHAT NEEDED TO BE CORRECTED (PLATFORM). ON ONE OCCASION, ACTION AIR SCHEDULED A TIME FOR ME TO BE HOME AND NO ONE SHOWED UP. AN INSTALLATION ERROR RESULTED IN WATER DAMAGE TO THE DRYWALL OF MY HOME, UPSTAIRS AND DOWNSTAIRS. THE INSTALLATION ERROR WAS CORRECTED IN A TIMELY MANNER. HOWEVER, THE COMPANY REFUSED TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE OR HELP PAY FOR THE COST OF REPAIR. MY INSURANCE COMPANY WOULDN'T COVER IT, BECAUSE OF MY DEDUCTABLE. LESS THAN A YEAR LATER, MY A/C HAS COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING. EVEN THOUGH MY AIR HANDLER IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, I WAS QUOTED A $59.00 SERVICE CHARGE. THEY ALSO SUPPOSEDLY HAVE NO RECORD OF THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSED TO MY HOME AS A RESULT OF THEIR ERROR (I DO, INCLUDING PICTURES!). THESE ARE ONLY A FEW OF THE PROBLEMS I'VE HAD. NEEDLESS TO SAY, ACTION AIR WILL NOT GET ONE MORE CENT OF MY MONEY.
