Description of Work: The refrigerator ice maker output (ice down the chute) would not turn off. Called provider at 17:15 on 5/17/2010 and set up call for 0730 on 5/18/2010. Also rcvd advice on how to turn off power to ice maker output from OWNER, who called after 1800. Tech called at 0740 the next morning, set up appointment, came to house - fixed the problem. Also provide eval of the refrigerator, it's age, quality and what to expect in the future. Rewired the inside of the ice dispenser/lite/water segment and told us what to do if the problem returns. Then gave some advice of poss replacement refrigerators and took a moment to admire our dogs. You do NOT find tech's like this very often - DICHRISTOPHER is at the very top of any contractor we will call for appliance repair - the extreme TOP. No wonder they are at top of the Angie list for lge appliance repair! THEY EARNED IT...the old fashioned way. Quality for my money.

Description of Work: On time, prompt response, no unnecessary charges, good advice. Would use again. Their service person looked at the dish washer which had been leaking. He advised us what to do, and did not charge for labor. Also helped with refrigerator filter.

Description of Work: Three days after joining Angies List, I called Dichristopher's to inquire about getting my washing machine timer control fixed. To my utter amazement, they told me there was no need to go to the expense of having them come out because I could do it myself. They told me where to order the part and how easy it was to replace. I called the number they gave me, and the part was delivered the next day. A job I thought would cost around $100 cost me $20 (the part), and I fixed it in less than three minutes. The savings paid for my Angie's list membership, and Dichristopher's has gained a customer for life. I will call them whenever I need an appliance repaired. Thank you so much.
