I called on Monday to set up an appointment. Anthony came out on the following day to make the repair. He arrived within the time frame that I was given. His work was efficient. He explained everything in advance and gave a price quote, which was very reasonable. All my questions were answered. Work was completed in about 2 hours and he cleaned up after himself. I was very satisfied with the work and very happy to have my washing machine back in working order again.

Once they looked at the machine I was given a quote to fix it and a solid recommendation that fixing it was not my best option since there was no guarantee more problems would not pop up. They gave me some sound advice on brands of washers to replace it with. I could not be happier with my new machine and an honest repair company .

Very professional service starting when I called for an appointment. Technician called first thing in the morning to let me know where I was on the schedule and then again when he was on his way to my house. Once there he was very professional and explained the cause of the problem, what would be required to fix it and gave his recommendation to replace the unit. He was honest and said he could try to repair but would be $1,600 or more. I appreciated his honesty and recommendation to replace the unit. Definitely would call on this company again.

I called DiChristopher Appliance Repair on 12/4/13 to schedule an appointment to repair my dishwasher, which wasn't washing the dishes properly and also was terribly noisy. I also wanted my garbage disposal checked out because it seemed to be noisy too. They told me someone would be out the next day, and that I would receive a call between 7:30am and 8::00am to give me a time to expect them, which is exactly what happened. I was told that Anthony would arrive between 9-10am. Anthony arrived right around 9am. He diagnosed the problems, repaired the dishwasher, and fixed the disposal. Anthony was very nice, and professional. I would definitely use this company again for my appliance repair.

The fride had stopped dispensing water. The tech determined that the lines were frozen due to a couple of faulty valves. replaced the valves, defrosted the lines, cleaned the coil.

Our 16-month-old Samsung refrigerator was making an unusual (and loud) noise inside the refrigerator. We thought it might have been a problem with the fan, so we called A. DiChristopher Appliance Service and described the problem over the phone. We were told that a repairman could be at our house in a couple of hours. He called an hour later to say he was on his way. He assessed the problem (ice had formed behind the inside back panel of the refrigerator), removed the ice and resealed gaps he had found, thereby eliminating the noise. I can't say enough about this company. From the person who answered the phone to the repairman who fixed them problem, we received prompt, courteous and efficient service at a very affordable price. I recommend A. DiChristopher highly, and will also refer them to all my neighbors.

My washer (9yo) had been behaving erratically for the past few months but after one night where I re-started a load ten times, only to have it stop right about the spin cycle, I began to wonder if it was time to go shopping for a new washer. Given its age, I was not surprised but a friend convinced me to try the repair route first. Off to Angie's List where I found DiChristopher Appliances had the best ratings. I put in a call and arranged for Anthony to come out the next day (Saturday) to look at things. When he arrived, he asked me what error codes I'd been seeing - which of course I couldn't remember but I thought I'd seen several, including an F11. I happened to mention that for the past year or so I'd also been having problems with the door lock not working correctly. He took a look inside, diagnosed that the problem was most likely to be with the control panel. After giving me an estimate for both best (replace the control panel) and worst (also needs new motor control) case scenarios, I agreed and paid a deposit for ordering the new part which he unfortunately didn't have in stock. The part arrived in a few days but I had difficulty with my schedule so it wasn't until the following Monday that we finally coordinated a time for completing the job. They were very good about trying to work with my schedule which I really appreciated. (I work quite some distance from home and since I teach, it is very difficult to take off the time for things like this!) Anthony arrived, the new part was installed, and voila it worked and has been working great ever since (and I've been doing quite a few loads to test it in the meantime!) It ended up just needing the new control panel although he told me that if I do continue to have problems, they would get me the additional part at cost without an additional service charge which I thought was an example of great customer service. I will certainly plan to call DiCrhistopher's if I need any other appliances repaired and I would definitely recommend them. That $300 repair saved me the roughly $700 extra a new washer would have cost, in addition to the reduced environmental impact.

How did it go? Let's just say "All hail Anthony!" My best pal, my Maytag dishwasher was washing really, really poorly. I had tried everything (or so I thought) to get my dishes clean. I told my husband either a new dishwasher or I start washing by hand. I was taking them out of the dishwasher after cleaning, and had to rewash some of them. After looking at some top-of-the-line dishwashers, I REALLY didn't want to get rid of it. It has cost me maybe $250 to $300 over the 14 years I have had it. So my husband suggested I call that "repair guy you get to come out." Anthony came out, knew what was going on immediately. I believe he was there less than an hour. From the screen in the dishwasher he pulled out a tiny circle of metal, a twist tie (not from me), a small nut of some kind, and some paper (none from me). Gee, no wonder my dishwasher wasn't washing. Now, she's back to super clean. I am sooooooo happy. Anthony is my hero.

I have had this company do repairs for me a few times on different appliances. Last night I started wash just before 6 pm. The washer wouldn't spin & was making a loud clicking noise. I called them, although it was after regular business hours. I need to do laundry daily for my job, so I was in a tight spot. They actually got me in the next day. I am so impressed with the service I get from this service provider. I have already given them referrals. In a perfect world, nobody would need repairs. But if I do, I know they'll be there. Thanks folks, I really do appreciate it.

I left a message on DiChristopher's answering machine including make and model of stove and refrigerator and exact problem. When Don returned my call the next day he had already researched the availability and price of the needed parts for my 20+ year old stove and refrigerator. On the scheduled day, Don called to let me know he was on his way and arrived exactly when he said he would. Don quickly replaced the heating elements in the oven. After that, he assessed the broken spring mounting for the oven door. The original part had ripped off where it was welded and I had thrown away the broken piece several months ago. Don stated "hm, let me see what I can do.... He created a replacement piece by cutting up the mounting bracket from the old over burner mounting and was able to utilize his home-made part to safely reattach the oven door spring. The oven door works good as new. (There are two springs and I was making do with one which was OK but the door didn't close as tightly as it could and dropped down very hard and fast when opened.) After repairing the stove, Don quickly replaced the ice-maker in the freezer. I am absolutely delighted with Don who is the owner of A.DiChristopher Appliance Service, Inc. and will happily recommend his company. Don is friendly and professional. I laughed about the age of the stove and refrigerator and commented on my previous repair company's reluctance to work on older appliances. Don smiled and said "older appliances keep me in business". I will definitely use A DiChristopher Applance Service again!

Excellent experience. Prompt polite knowledgeable. Anthony came out and diagnosed problem quickly ordered part and returned 2 days later. Frequent phone calls for updates on time location part order..Will definitely use again!

The service went well. There was an issue with ordering parts but they were very professional in handling that and they did the installation well.

They did a great job. I had called on Friday & requested an appt. as soon as they had an opening. They were able to fit me in on Saturday, arrived on time & did a great job explaining what they did. I would definitely use them again should I need other appliance service.

He advised to take a picture of the dryer with our phone and send it to them it stops again. He would come out it would probably have to replace one of the two circuit boards. Was very pleased with his service.

Don was scheduled to come between 10 am to 12 noon. He called and let us know he was on his way an arrived at 11:30 am. With in 15 minutes he had diagnosed the problem with the ice maker and in another 10 minutes had it fixed. Don was very efficient and professional. Next he looked at the hot water heater, diagnosed the problem, and gave me the choice of repairing it or replacing it. His recommendation was to replace it. He lost a repair but gained a customer. I told Don I found him on Angie's list and got a 10% discount. Bottom line: fair; honest; efficient; and really knows is stuff. A true professional. I Highly, highly recommend him.

They called the morning of the appointment. They said some time between 12-2. The repair man arrived just before 2. He repaired my washer, which had been shaking so violently I thought it might break off a hose or something. I did a load of wash this evening, and the washer was as smooth and quiet as it was when it was new. This is the second time I've used their service. The last time went just as well. That was for my dishwasher that wasn't draining. I am very happy with their service.
