Don came out he was very polite and personable , the ice maker was freezing up and the water alos was freezing up he avaluated and gave me the prices, for what NEEDED TO BE DONE rEFRIGERATOR IS 10 YEARS OLD BUT STILL WORKING FINE , WE talked about what do do he was , so honest, I was very pleased with his work and would definatly use again

I have used A. DiChristopher Appliance three times over the last several years. During the last visit they replaced the top and bottom thermostats and the bottom element on our hot water heater. We had originally scheduled him to come out on a Monday (we were willing to wait for hot water rather than call someone else because we know they're that good) and he squeezed us in on Saturday so we wouldn't have to go any longer. In the past they have fixed two different refrigerators for us successfully as well. They have always been on time, professional, efficient and reasonably priced. We will continue to use them exclusively for appliance repairs.

everything was great. the tech diagnosed the issue quickly. He didn't have the same replacement type of timer but was able to order one, pick it up, and come back to my house within a couple hours. the tech was awesome and didn't try to up sell and charge for additional services.

Our Samsung dryer failed heating up Friday night. I had used A Dichristopher before with great success so I thought, "Let me submit the request over the weekend so it will be there Monday morning" Saturday afternoon the owner emailed and in the evening phoned!!! Sunday we continued correspondence expecting Tuesday visit. Monday afternoon they called and were able to fit us in. Knowledgeable and rapid repair. Explained causes and options. Courteous, professional and applied Angie list discount! Left no mess behind These are my go-to repair folks!!

I called them at 1pm and told them I had a problem with my refrigerator. the things in the freezer section were melting.. My ice cream was already at milk shake status.. Ugh.. By 2 pm Don had the fridge fixed and out the door. Less than an hour from the initial call and things are done and back to working.. Yeah...

As usual, I would give them all A's. DiChristopher has been my go to appliance repair company for several years. my fridge had no cool water output or ice output. When I contacted them, I was told that the ice was frozen on the door. They gave me a time they would come. I was thrilled when they said they would come earlier. When Don arrived, he did the various tests and told me that i needed a new circuit board in the refridgerator. He also put some better sealant around the door and told me that i possibly needed a new heater but he wanted to try his fix first in order to save me the extra costs of the heater. This company is always honest in its dealings with people. They do an excellent job. before they do anything, they give you a cost estimate. They do not blindside you with costs and make sure I know if extra costs come my way.

Family business where pride in company is evident in all aspects of service from initial call to repair.

He was very prompt. It only took three hours between the time I called him and the time he came out to do the service. It took him very little time to diagnose and fix the problem. He was courteous and professional.

I NEVER write reviews...but I HAD to this time! I called to have 4 different appliances looked at for various reasons (oven not heating, ice maker not dispensing ice, outdoor grill not working, stove top burner light staying lit). Within 2 HOURS a technician was at my home making repairs. The service charge was less than ANYWHERE else I had called and I was not "sold" on anything...just honest work completed. The technician was very knowledgeable and courteous (I even got a call the next day regarding a part that I could order...or not, no pressure!). I will be calling A.DiChristopher Appliance for all of my future appliance service needs. THANK YOU!

I called them the evening before to see if they could come out to evaluate the problem and they called me promptly the next morning to set up a service call that day. He came out and saw that the hinge was broken which through off the thermostatic control and the drain line was frozen up. The hinge was replaced and drain line was cleared so that everything worked properly

Anthony arrived as scheduled, quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. He could have easily sold us an expensive plug-in heating component, but instead replaced a single defective wire (no material charge) for the minimum labor charge.

Don and Alison were a treasure of a find, especially on a Sunday afternoon! We have several rental properties and there is no chance I would use anyone else other than the DiChristophers with appliance repairs. No hidden charges, Don was upfront and honest and even gave me a bigger discount than I expected without reminding him I was an Angie's list customer who should be getting a 10% discount on parts. They were in and out within an hour and were very considerate to leave everything clean! They truly know their business and were very kind and professional.....really down to earth, hard working people who take pride in their work. They were amazing and a rare breed in this day and age. I would HIGHLY recommend them!!

I called at 7:30am and technician Anthony was at my home at 10:00 am. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He quickly diagnosed the problem I had called about and while here, also discovered an issue I was not aware of. The clothes agitator was not agitating correctly. He was able to fix it right away. He also provided education on the effect the various wash cycles have on the life of the machine. I will definitely call this company again should I need appliance repair.

We were told that the operating panel was unfortunately breaking on many washers, and our model was the newest one that was going bad. The technician ordered the new part, gave us a temporary fix so the washer was still usable, and came back when promised to install the new part.

Don was available within 2 hours of first call. He communicated diagnosis and cost of repairs well and was in and out in less than 90 minutes. Both machines are working correctly next morning. He is exactly who you want in your home repairing your appliances.

Would absolutely recommend and use again! And would feel totally comfortable having them in my home with or without me.

I had gotten a quote from "Big Name" appliance repair service, but had a feeling it was too high at $729. I considered upgrading to induction, but the prices on those ranges are still a bit over the top. So, I checked out appliance repair on Angie's List and found DiChristopher. Based on what "Big Name" listed as the needed parts, I got a price over the phone of ~$500. It was interesting that "Big Name" planned to use two separate 'infinite switches' that are now obsolete and no longer available, while charging more for the labor; DiChristopher used a single 'infinite switch' that required rewiring all four burners and the oven, and charged $50 less for labor. Bottom line, it went VERY well, and I have found an appliance repair service I have confidence in! DiChristopher is honest, and has reasonable pricing.

Don arrived within 2 hours of my call. He was professional, knowledgeable and neat. He identified the problem immediately and went about solving. He communicated well with me and he did the work. Replacing a switch, control and cleaned coils for me. After having so many disasters in the past and a great deal of money wasted, he was a breath of fresh air. I would highly recommend them in the future.

They were prompt, diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes and repaired it within an hour. They were very knowledgeable and very reasonable in cost.

The dryer was making loud noises. Anthony DiChristopher came out the day after we called. He clearly told us what the basic service fee of $86 was. It turned out that the problem was a quarter than had fallen into the works. Anthony cleaned out some lint and put in new gliders (think of brake pads for a car) and a new felt strip. This should help the dryer last longer without problems.

A DiChristopher Appliance Service did a phenomenal job! They were responsive, fast and thorough. Our technician Anthony was on time, respectful & extremely knowledgeable! My dishwasher hasn't worked in years & I couldn't take it anymore. Anthony came & knew within minutes what the issue was. He had all the parts he needed to fix it & within an hour my dishwasher was fixed. We needed a new motor. In a house full of 5 adults and a baby this is a necessity! I called to schedule and appointment (the person that answered the phone was courteous and professional) and Anthony came out to see me the next morning. He was on-time, and extremely courteous and professional. I thought that I was going to need a full rubber seal replacement on my front load washing machine. He watched it work, checked it from all angles, checked a few more things and let me know that a repair wasn't necessary right now because everything was working fine. He still wrote down an estimate for things that we could replace in the future but there was no pressure to do it right now. I was also happy to learn that if we decided to get the repairs done in the next 30 days, that my $48 service call out fee would be applied to whatever work that I had done. I very much appreciated his honest and trustworthy approach. I will be calling A.DiChristopher Appliance Service for all of my future appliance repair needs.

Our stove oven quit one evening and I called A DiChristoper Appliance the next morning and had the repair person in my house two hours later. He was a very knowledgeable and skilled young man who correctly diagnosed the problem and had the part to fix it in his truck. We were back in business in no time and the charge was more than fair. I had this same problem fixed by a different company several years ago and was charged double what this company's charge was. Do not look any further, call A DiChristopher for your appliance repairs. I know that I will.

I was given a quote for both items then Anthony went to the track to see if he had all the parts, as he thought one would need to be ordered. Success, as all parts were on hand! The owner, Don was here at the time he was scheduled to be here. He works quick and neatly. After determining the problem, had the replacement part and refrigerator was running in less than one hour of him walking in the door. Don and his son are always professional, honest, and punctual. I have used them for 10 years to fix my washer, dryer, Jennair, and several refrigerators. Would highly recommend.
