What a great service experience! After another Angie's List repairman stood me up, I called DiChristopher at 4:56 on Friday afternoon. The receptionist assured me they could help me Saturday a.m. He was at my house before 9:30 Saturday morning. This is a company owned and operated by father and son, and wife/mother is their outstanding receptionist. He listened to the problem, ran the washer to see problem for himself, diagnosed and gave me price estimate. He saw a couple of other potential needed repair and gave me an estimate on price of those repairs, though never encouraged to me to make those repairs until I saw the need for them. He cleaned the door closure and underneath area, ran the machine to ascertain "good working" and was gone in less than an hour The repairman was the son and I could not ask for a more professional repairman who obviously took pride the quality of his work and the reputation of their company. I'll definitely call this company the next time I have an appliance problem.

Left a message on their voice mail at 730 am. Received a call back at 800 am. Technician arrived at 915 and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for....quality service.

They do not install appliances but she gave me the name and number of an installer. I was not only very pleased with how fast they replied to my email (had to be 15 minutes or less) but also that they gave me a number to call. I called the referred number and have set up my install within 30 minutes of my first inquiry! Very pleased!!

I called to make an appointment for someone to come look at our washer. I talked to a very courteous lady by the name of Alison. She informed me that they do not cover the Brandon area. I thanked her and was ready to hang up when she asked me what the problem was with my washer. I told her the problem and she explained me what she thought the problem was...and for me to expect to buy a new washer. That the cost for repairs would be more than to go buy a new one. I also asked if she had any recommendations for a repair service in the Brandon area. She also gave me some recommendations for what brands and types of washers. to look for. The repairman from the company she referred left about an hour ago. Alison was right on the money. The outer tub bearings were bad and it would cost $600.00 and higher to repair. Guess we will be washer shopping this weekend. Thanks to Alison for all her help and recommendations.

Scheduled the appointment thru the message on Angie's List and got a Saturday appt. Received the call on when they would be there and received a call before they were to be there. Garbage disposal was installed and couldn't be more pleased. Was very professional and no mess afterwards. I would definitely use this company for any future appliance work that may arise. Thanks for a great job.

I emailed the company through Angie's List at 9:00 pm on a Wednesday night. They called me the next morning to make an appointment for the following day. Anthony called beforehand and arrived on time. I was more than satisfied and very happy with their promptness and punctuality.

Simple, quick, easy, on-time. Did not try to upsell me on uneeded parts like a compressor. Thoroughly explained what the symptoms' root cause might be, diagnosed, carried the needed parts, and was in/out within 30 minutes.

they called first as requested. Anthony could tell that I was running a bit behind at work, so he offered to to stop for lunch to give me more time, which was great. Showed within seconds of me. He knew instantly what the problem was and had an original part in his truck. He still checked out other parts of the washer to make sure all was good.. I forgot to ask him a question while he was here and called him....he called me back within minutes with the answer. he was sweet, professional, good and reasonable. my washer is 11 years old and I have never had maintenance on it.....I had just looked at Lowes and they were running around $1000......it runs like new now for $266!!! I am more than happy! I would recommend A Dichristopher appliance service to everyone!!

My Maytag dryer wasn't working based on a connection coming loose. Anthony recognized the problem immediately as one that is common to the system I have, quoted me a price, and fixed the unit within 15 minutes. I called the office in the morning and was able to have same day service within the time frame that was scheduled. Very happy with the service and would recommend.

We called A. DiChristopher based upon the positive reviews on Angie's List. They advised that could come out the following day and would call between 7:30 and 8:00 AM to let us know when they would arrive. Don, the business owner, called at 7:35 to let us know that his son, Anthony, would be arriving between 11:30 and 1:30 PM and would call when en route. Anthony called just after 12:00 and advised that he would be arriving is about 45 minutes. Upon arrival, Anthony immediately diagnosed the problem, which was something clogging the drain in the dishwasher. My wife removed the soap tablet that was clogging the drain and that resolved the problem. We told Anthony that we did not think our clothes dryer was working properly. He checked it out and explained about how the timer and sensors worked in the dryer, which helped us understand why the timer operated in the manner which it did. Anthony was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional in every respect. He explained how both the dishwasher and the dryer worked and advised what to look for in the event there were issues in the future. The service charge for this visit was $58, which was the lowest we found when looking at service providers. Anthony advised that they carry a large amount of parts for the types of appliances on which they work. This enables them to fix problems promptly without having to order parts. I would highly recommend A. DiChristopher based upon our experience yesterday and today. Anthony and Don do all of the work and his Mother handles the scheduling of service. They are efficient and very reasonably priced. It is a great example of how a small, family owned business should be operated. We will be calling them for all appliance repair work in the future!

The service technician was timely, professional and very knowledgeable. The price was fair and overall we were very satisfied and will recommend.

Low service call of $58 which was deducted from repair total. Ordered parts on Friday and installed on Tuesday. Professional from start to finish!

I requested an appointment through Angie's List and was contacted immediately. I scheduled an appointment and was told he would call that morning to give me a time frame and would call again when he was on the way. I had certain times that worked and they worked within my time constraints. When Don arrived he told us what he thought it was and a price range. We had him unclog the drain and he also put some copper wire on the tube to help keep it from clogging again. I would definitely call him again.

This was a great Angie's List experience. Alison was very prompt replying to my scheduling request and did an excellent job communicating about arrival time. Don was a great guy as well as a Tampa Bay Lightning fan. My wife, who works at home, had to close her office door because he and I were talking hockey and laughing so much in the kitchen while he did the repair. In addition to the freezer fan needing replaced the "Water in the Door" feature hadn't been working for some time. When I asked him about replacing the water line he simply took off the front panel of the unit and used a blow dryer to thaw it out. He then added a thin piece of insulation to the inside of the freezer to prevent it from freezing again. All at no extra charge! A DiChristopher's is now my "goto" company for any appliance repairs I might need in the future.

Our spare fridge in the garage got warm yeterday and of course, I called A DiChristopher. A heads up call early this morning to tell us a time frame of when to expect him and also a call to say he is on his way. Easy. Don asked questions, inspected our fridge. He explained my options and completed the repair immediately. I trust his skill and opinion on whether something is worth fixing. Third appliance fixed by A DiChristopher. I will ALWAYS call them.

Called the company to set up a time to have someone come to check out the problem. Dan came out within a day. Since the stove is older, the part is no longer made. With his wife's assistance in the office, they were able to find the part that was needed. I was told they would be back Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week or as soon as the part came in. This morning they called and set up a time to install the part. The job was performed with the cost being exactly what I was quoted. Dan was here at the time he promised, did the job quickly and efficiently, and the stove now works fine. This is not the first time I have used their service, and I would not hesitate to call them again when the need arises.

We chose this service provider as they were highly rated on Angie's List with the best prices. Upon calling the company, we were advised that the service call was $59 and no service charge would be incurred if they were hired for the repair. We also mentioned 10% OFF LABOR as Angie's List members, which was applied, but we were grossly overcharged for the parts and labor. He didn't explain anything and was even a sloppy worker and I had to clean up after him. I had gotten a towel when I seen the water leaking. There was water that had dripped all over the floor and he actually tried to move the refrigerator over the water. Luckily, I had the towel as there were electrical parts behind the refrigerator. He never turned the power supply off for the refrigerator and he was supposed to. After searching online, one part was only $33 and we were charged $88 and another part was only $11 and we were charged $24. The labor fee was apparently $95 per hour instead of $59 and he was only here for one hour. We are not happy with this service and are looking for at least a partial refund as we feel we were overcharged.

Our freezer was having some issues making a buzzing sound and we kept seeing ice cubes outside of the ice cube box. I called A. DiChristopher one afternoon and the next morning he arrived exactly when he said he would. He had the part with him and made all repairs within an hour. Also was able to use a coupon from Angie's List. Overall a great appliance service and I wouldn't hesitate to use in the future.

Prompt, fast, professional and just plain nice :-) would definitely recommend and use again!
