Description of Work: Replaced duct work, put blown in insulation in main house and repaired hole in garage ceiling made by AC company that cheated me and that I fired.

Description of Work: They did basic routine service for the system at the agreed upon price and this service was satisfactory. They recommended very expensive services to install a light inside the unit and improve the way the air conditioner hose was run between ducts. The system was only 5 years old when they visited. In my opinion the services were expensive and I was not convinced they were necessary.

Description of Work: Checked and sanitized the system, changed the filter and replaced the capassitor (?sp) new capassitor stopped working, came out again and replaced it. Very pleased.

Description of Work: On June 4, he inspected and cleaned my a/c, said I needed a new HEPA filter and a new U/V light. He said he would locate them & call me when he got them. In 3-4 weeks, I had not heard from him, and my air quit working. So I called him, and he brought the hepa filter, gave me a reduced price for it, and found that my A/c fan, which was less than three years old, had failed. The part was still under warranty, but not the labor. Long story short, for replacing the fan and the material and labor on the U/V light, it cost me $1200. But at least my air is working well now, and the new light is again killing the mold that grows in that nasty environment.

Description of Work: Two servicemen showed up and performed the routine service on our 4yr old A/C unit, which they did satisfactorily. However, they tried to sell me on having our ducts resealed and additional hanging for $600+ and a special light to prevent mold and mildew for well over an additional $1,000. I felt they tried to sell me services that I really did not need for extremely high prices.

Description of Work: Our home warrantee service provider contacted Cooling Tampa to respond to our request for A/C service. Tommy Arnao of Cooling Tampa responded immediately and set up replacement of the A/C system and was able to keep our old system going over the weekend until a new A/C system was available. John, of cooling Tampa did the installation promptly as promised and did an outstanding job. He was courteous and very professional. We were so impressed with the company that we signed up for their maintenance program.

Description of Work: Provider entered my home to inspect, tune-up, and sanitize ducts. However, he found that the a/c unit outside and the unit inside were not fully compatible and, therefore, it would not make sense to complete the work because it would not help the situation of the a/c not cooling properly. He was very professional and gave me tips and ideas as to what I could do to remedy the situation. He even gave me an estimate of how much it would be to change the inside unit.

Description of Work: Purchased new a/c from them to replace me 25 year old unit that was leaking freon. They wewe very prompt, found the leak, and installed a new unit the same day.
