Excellent from start to finish.

The provider arrived on time and the technicians were courteous and friendly. I am not sure if they performed all the work as advertised because they never reviewed that with me in detail. They seemed a lot more interested in selling me another $825 worth of services than doing what what I purchased. The $825 in additional services included replacing "pitted" electrical contacts and cleaning the evaporator coil. Lots of discussion about mold and other issues. They seemed disappointed that I did not schedule to have the additional work done on the spot.

Bobby and Brandon arrived on time and did a very professional job of inspecting, measuring, and cleaning my AC unit. Also checked out the air handler and gas heating system. They pointed out a few things to keep an eye on. I was very pleased with their work and decided to purchase their yearly maintenance contract. I highly recommend Cooling Tampa.

Due to some communications problems with the Angie's List e-mail process, there was initial confusion about customer not having verified scheduled time, customer had yet e-mail did not make it to provider. However, the accommodating co-owner rapidly adjusted and showed up at the preferred time anyway. :-) The provider was thorough in ensuring the customer knew all about their twelve-plus-year-old system, and its current less-than-optimal status - limited lifetime remaining before replacement needed. Provider identified surprise problems with two external heat exchanger electrical, aged components (expensive parts), had someone at the shop check the stock, a runner brought them, and replaced them, providing new life to the system. Provider took apart main air handler and identified numerous age-related issues and gave great details about what needed replacing by when. Provider gave a list of things to do for regular maintenance. Provider gave an estimate for system replacement and options that from another source was determined reasonable in cost and scope. Provider also made a sales pitch for their customer recurring maintenance service, an option for those who can't keep their system updated themselves.

The gave me a date, showed up on time and completed the job in less than a day. I'm very satisfied with their expertise, skill, and communication. On a 1 to 10 basis I'd give them all a 10

Mike and Bobby performed my Angie's List tune-up and showed me a VIDEO of MY Air Handler with the following written on their receipt: "Found alot of bacterial growth in the Air Handler and a impacted evaporator coil." The recommened my "Best" solution was for a Sterilization System costing $4914.00!!! Since my unit is not that old I decided to buy another Angies List tune up offer to get a 2nd opinion. I did not tell the 2nd company of my experience until they were done. The 2nd company noted "System is running great at this time. It is spotless inside the Air Handler." When I told them what 1 Cooling LLC had said, they were appauled and said NO BACTERIA was found in the Air Handler. Therefore, 1 Cooling LLC must have shown me a VIDEO of someone else's system because I have NO mold in my Air Handler and DO NOT have an impacted evaporator coil. BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT & UNSCRUPULOUS, but oh so smooth and likable were Mike & Bobby!

I first purchased a "big deal" for an HVAC tune-up and inspection. I suspected my ducts were not working properly and was advised that the duct system was undersized and also needed an additional return air duct. The owner was on-site to assess what materials were needed and to oversee the job, which was extensive, as all of the duct system needed to be re-configured, a new cold air return had to be built, and work had to be done to the outside unit. The work was done very professionally, and I immediately noticed a much better airflow, especially in my bedroom where almost no air had been coming out of the grate. After the ductwork had been installed, I noticed that a ceiling crack had appeared in one room and called the company. The owner was at my door in less than 20 minutes to assess the situation. This is a 50+ year-old home which I recently purchased. The owner said that he would see to it that the crack was repaired. When repairs began, I was shown that some drywall work on that ceiling had been done sometime in the past in a shoddy manner; however, the owner, Tommy Arnao, repaired the crack, and re-textured and painted the ceiling. Mr. Arnoa, his son Tommy, and the workmen were all pleasant, courteous, and professional. They also cleaned up after working at my home. I would definitely recommend 1 Cooling Tampa and would use this company again.

They did a good job. After they did the inspection, they recommended an upgrade in my duct work. They kept telling me what they were doing and their progress. They did what I expected. I would use them again.

We had some difficulties at the beginning with scheduling, but let me tell you, THESE GUYS WANT A HAPPY CUSTOMER ! Not only did they come out on a Saturday evening, but they came en-masse to make sure it got done (and that includes the owner). They got the air conditioner working briefly, and then - surprise - the motor quit. Not only did they replace the motor - free of charge, but came out the next Monday to install it and stayed until I got home from work to make sure it was working properly. They were always polite, courteous - and very anxious that as their customer, I was not only satisfied with their work, but super impressed with their professionalism. If you think pride in a job well-done is no longer available - check these guys out. Their word is their bond.

This company offered a special price for a HVAC tune-up and inspection and, at first, seemed to be doing what was expected. However, they sprayed something into my nearly-new heat pump which resulted in discoloration on the outside of the unit (appears to be removable with wet rag). What concerns me the most is that they went into my attic and cut a hole in my ductwork without my permission or knowledge until after the fact and then tried to sell me expensive new ductwork ($4,000 - $8,000) which I don't believe I need. I did not have any problems with my current system, nor was this part of the contract. I discovered about a week after the employees of 1Cooling Tampa left that the silver tape they put over the piece that they had cut out of my ductwork when they put it back in place was loose and about to fall off. I had to have mastic and fiberglass put over the area to keep air from coming out of the duct. When the workers were here they told me that there is a $1,000 fine if there is a fire in the house and the outside circuit breaker is locked (mine was locked). I checked with the fire dept. after they left and was told that that was not true and that the fire dept. carries bolt cutters to any fire they respond to.

Expert technician. Found a ground short where a previous repair had left an open wire. Very professional and considerate. I would contract with this company the next time I need a repair. He was knowledgeable and efficient.

Tommy and his men came into my home after a VERY bad second experience with the company who originally installed my new air handler. They looked at the job, and very thoroughly explained to me what needed to be done to get my system up and operating. The previous company left me without heat in this cold spell. They had to go in and correct the errors that the previous non-reputable company did, and re-engineer the work. They were in my home for one solid day, and I had heat that night. They called to say they would be a few minutes late, and even took care of giving me proper documentation so that if I have any issues with the other BAD company, I have records to back myself up. Jokingly, I told Tom if he was going to bee late that he should bring donuts - and he did! The guys were so pleasant with me, and any one of them would be welcome in my home at any time. His crew were great, polite, professional and courteous. They are to be highly commended, and I would trust them in my home at any time. They replaced the filters on my AC system. something that should have been done when the new system was put in - again they took care of what should have been done by someone else. My only regret is that I did not hire them in the first place, since this second round of repair probably would not have been needed at all. They also put in a UV light for me so that I can be assured the new duct work will not get any mold. I feel I was treated fairly, with respect, and with honesty and integrity. Cooling Tampa is a great HVAC company and I will do everything in my power to give them credit and recommendations when I possibly can. Thanks Tommy & guys.

Things are really good as the owner came for a visit to be sure everything was done and installed correctly. We are working towards new systems and I will update when I have information.

I purchased the $39 system inspection from 1 Cooling Tampa. Tommy from 1 Cooling Tampa came to my home on time and went right to work inspecting the units indoors and outdoors. He found a few issues with normal use that he could take care of quickly and keep the system running efficiently and longer. I had to defer a cleaning until the spring but he told me they would honor the lower price that would have been available today which I certainly appreciate. Tommy did a great job and was very through and professional and a pleasure to do business with and I certainly would be happy to call them in the future!

Showed on time, inspected entire AC system, cleaned external unit, gave good advice for maintaining system. Very professional and courteous, and would definitely use again.

I'm very pleased with them. They take of my problem in a reasonable fashion and the pricing has always been fair. It's not always about the price - it's about how good of a job they do for the price that they charge. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was quoted a VERY reasonable price, and he did the work right then. After the cleaning and tune up my air conditioner was practically running like new again. I signed up for a membership for only $14.95 a month and thanks to Cooling Tampa My 8 year old air conditioner will be here for many years to come.

They came in the morning and did not charge me for the second opinion. They put everything in writing for me. They were honest, considerate and very knowledgeable. They made recommendations and gave me really good advice about my Heating & A/C system. Their estimate was also a very fair price. I would love to use this company.

It went very good. They came out the same day I called. Called me to explain what was wrong and how much it would cost to repair it and the cost of a new unit. I decided to replace it with a new unit because of the age of the old unit and the new unit was in the next day. They were very prompt, courteous and professional. I now have a maintenance contract with Cooling Tampa LLC on both my home and rental property. I would definitely recommend them for any a/c repairs or replacement needs and I will call them if I have any a/c problems.

You guys saved the day. I was travelling on business and my wife called them because our AC stopped working. Her and the children were miserably hot on a 92 degree Saturday. Thankfully I had signed up for your maintenence agreement in June for my 25 year old unit. 3pm on a Saturday afternoon and they had a tech at my house. Turned out the outside heat pump was shot just like your tech told me in June. They kept it running for me for a little while. Thanks guys love the new system.
