One of the worst sprinkler companies that I have dealt with to date. I spent over $3000 to repair my sprinkler system only to find out less than a month later that it was not working properly. I I had BRian put a brand new pump in and also a pipe out to my canal. Less than a month later, I have a geyser springing from the 90° pipe just under my pump that he wanted to charge me an additional $300 to fix when it was in the scope of work that he did for me originally multiple reviews and state that they nickel and dime their customers and that they are unprofessional trust what you read do not use this company or Brian fanelli.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Brian’s Plumbing and Sprinkler on the re-piping of our complete home in the City of Weston. Brian’s Plumbing came highly recommended by a couple of our neighbors, and we are thankful for it. Brian’s Plumbing is very knowledgeable, took the time to explain the project, city requirements, and timeline. Once we signed the contract, they immediately submitted our permit application with the City of Weston, which only took one week to be issued. Brian’s started the project the following Monday, and by Friday, it was completed, inspected, and approved. Brian’s Plumbing was punctual every morning and stopped one hour before 6 PM each day to clean up before leaving. Brian’s team worked very well together and was responsive to our questions and concerns. Milton and Tania City of Weston residents

I signed a contract and gave a big deposit because I knew one of his employees. That was the beginning of the nightmare. I cannot get inspections done on my project because he will not send proof of insurance to the county (if he has any, you best ask for a copy and call to verify). MY contract for this project is for $17,300. He finished about half and refused to continue without a draw that was not due until after they passed one more inspection, at that point he refused to show up or do any more work. I gave him the draw (big mistake) and now he will not send proof of insurance to the county so my whole project is in jeopardy. I have to hire a new plumber. I have now found out that none of the plumbing at my property was installed by a licensed plumber. Do not trust this man with one dollar of you money.

I called Brian on a Saturday night, and he quickly responded. That was very appreciated. Then, he offered to go there on Monday morning to check on what was going on, which he did. So far so good, and that's where it ends. After he got there, he dug up parts of the yard and in the process cut off the fiber optics. I have a tenant at the property, and the tenant told me it was done while they were there. Tenant was very glad that I did not hire Brian to do the job. Brian gave me an estimate of just under $465to replace the check valve, screen and intake valve. He told me parts along were over $200. I later got another estimate for $350 for the same job. In the end, the parts, which were paid for directly to the supplier were only $120. So no, I am so glad that I got another estimate and did not hire them. In addition to that, I had just placed a new diverter to be able to prime the pump, and that disappeared after they were gone. I am not sure if they did all this out of spite because I did not hire them on the spot when they gave me the estimate over the phone, but it was all very unpleasant. My tenant now has to call ATT to fix the fiber optics. There was no need to dig in that area near the house at all. The problem was with the intake at the lake. No, I don't recommend them at all.

After 2 hours of him checking everything related to the sprinkkler system, he was able to diagnose the problem and guide me through the solution. I've never experienced this level of care, professionalism, and knowledge. I will refer Dan and the company, Brian's Plumbing & Sprinklers, Inc. to everyone I know!

They came out the first time and said that everything was working. But after that, the sprinkler system would not come on. They came out a second time and said it was working but it has not worked since then. We called them and they said that there would be a service fee to have them come and do a service call. Exceptionally rude customer service.

Im a new homeowner in Fort Lauderdale, with a broken irrigation system. Every company I called was convinced my pump was burned out, and everyone told me it would be $650-$700 to fix it. I called Brian's plumbing and spoke to his wife Janet (who is quite knowledgeable herself). She explained the differences between a pump that "hummed" and one that actually "pumped" and also said Brian could come out and look at it. She also stated the canal screen may only need unclogged and that was only $285 to repair. Brian showed up on time, waited on me to get home, and explained step by step what was wrong with my system - WHICH WAS NOT THE PUMP. My system actually had a dry rot check valve, and the canal screen needed replaced as earlier noted. After fixing everything and getting water running there was a busted pipe in the yard, which he fixed as well. He was here working and answering my questions for close to 4 hours. He is very knowledgeable, and thorough. I definitely recommend him.

I originally called Brian's plumbing on 6/11/13 because our toilet was backed up and overflowing when our tenants ran the washer. Brian's plumbing came out and found that the main drain line was clogged, so they cleared it with a drain snake. At this point we thought our troubles were over. However, on 6/18/13 we called them back out for the same issue. Once again, they cleared the main line and charged us. They said that if it happened again they would put a camera down the drain to inspect. On 7/2/2013 they came back for the same issue. This time they said that they found rocks and dirt in the cleanout and that if it backs up again they would have to replace the drain for a sum of $1,350. They did not use a camera to inspect the drain. Once again, the toilet overflowed from the backed up drain and they recommended that the drain be replaced. We scheduled for the repairs to be made on 7/13/2013. They came and and quot;dug up and replaced section of sewer line going into city main added 2nd cleanout.and quot; This cost us $1350 and now for sure we thought our problems were over. I asked them if they replaced the main drain and they stated that they did not have to, since they found the problem in an isolated area and the issue is resolved. I then called them back the following day to ask if I would be credited some of the money since they did not replace the entire main drain. They then stated that they spent all day working and that regardless, the labor warranted the amount charged. Over the next few weeks, we had two more incidents in which I decided to clear them out myself, since apparently I was flushing money down the toilet (no pun intended). Then on 11/18/2013 the same issue occurred again. The toilet backed up and we called Brian's Plumbing, who came out and once again snaked the line. They had no explanation of why this happened after they just and quot;fixedand quot; the issue. Now fast forward to January. Same issue again, but this time I figured I would call another plumber, since Brian's plumbing was unable to resolve my issue. I called RotoRooter who responded to my home and within 15 minutes diagnosed the issue down to the exact cause. They found that I had roots coming into my main drain. They used specialized equipment and found that the intrusion was 18 inches from the and quot;repairand quot; work that Brian's plumbing did. RotoRooter charged me $250 for the camera inspection and provided me with a quote. The quote was a bit expensive so I hired another plumber. The new plumber came and was able to cut out the sidewalk and replace the section of drain that had root intrusion. I took very detailed pictures of all the work from beginning to end and have pictures of where Brian's plumbing did the and quot;repairand quot; and where the actual problem was. I contacted Brian's plumbing to let them know I was not satisfied with their work and that I had to get another plumber to actually resolve my problem. They stated that they did fix the issue and that I am mistaken. I told them that had they replaced the entire section of drain like they originally stated they would, we would not be in this situation and the problem would've been found. Instead Brian's plumbing GUESSED and made an unnecessary repair. They became defensive and told me that I am mistaken that they never agreed to replace the entire drain. Yet when I confronted them with the phone call myself, asking for a credit since they did not replace the drain, they state it never happened, yet the plumber and owner recall the conversation. Finally, I told them that to resolve the issue, I believe it would be fair if they paid for the repair work I had done, that actually corrected the issue, which was $500. They told me that they didn't think they owed me anything and reaffirm that they fixed the issue. ----FYI, the rocks and dirt that Brian's plumbing found in the clean out and that they claim was the and quot;causeand quot; for my stoppage....Is actually dirt and rocks that came in through the broken drain and sat at the cleanout since water was not moving......I believe I have tried everything I can to resolve the issue with Brian's plumbing, however they fail to take responsibility for their part. I have all the documentation and plenty of pictures for Angie's list and the Better Business Bureau's review. TOTAL AMONT OF MONEY SPENT ONLY WITH BRIAN'S PLUMBING=$1900, yet nothing fixed! ( Money spent with new plumber that fixed issue $500)

******************************************REBUTTALL TO PROVIDERS RESPONSE******************************************************

I am appalled by the provider's response. They failed to take any responsibility for my claim. Not only have they denied any wrong doing; they lied and made false accusations, which I will prove with the attachments submitted in this response. I am now completely sure this was not a mistake of any sort, but that I am dealing with dishonest people. Please do not let the provider's and quot;warmand quot; introduction lead you to believe they are a wholesome family business. They may have been at one point, but based on the lack of customer service, irresponsibility and false accusations, I can assure you they are not!
First off, the provider states that when my drain backed up after a week and I called them back, and quot;we did NOT charge the customer.and quot; I have attached a company invoice that states and quot;2nd stoppage at this unit in a weekand quot; and quot;cleared main line stoppageand quot; and CHARGED me $125.
Second, they state that when the plumber and the owner met with me after I contacted them regarding my dissatisfaction, that the plumber and owner discussed what the job description was...At this meeting, the plumber stayed quiet and did not say a word regarding what he told me originally. The owner, who was not present at any of the original calls, did all the talking- obviously saying that they were not supposed to replace the entire drain.
Third, they mentioned and quot;customer signed [invoices], and was satisfied with the work, because the problem was solved.and quot; I signed because they responded and did work. I would not know if the problem is solved until some time passed!
The most blatant lie on here is and quot; The customer had already mentioned that he couldn't afford all the repairs, between his home and the rental property, so we made the decision to do it for freeand quot; and and quot;customer said he did not have that much money at the time.and quot; They they did not do ANYTHING for free! This provider has slandered my name, as if they did some type of charity work for me. NOT ONCE, did I ask for any discounts or mention that I have any type of problem paying for anything. Thankfully, I happen to be doing well financially and would never have said that. I have multiple properties and have ZERO debt, other than a mortgage. They are the and quot;professionals.and quot; They and quot;diagnosedand quot; an issue and made the repairs. I paid them immediately every time. They did NOT end up solving my problem and now have made false accusations (which they will respond to).
Next, the provider states that they took pictures and provided me with a section of the and quot;damagedand quot; PVC fitting. They state and quot;the customer doesn't know what happened to it.and quot; I know exactly what happened to it, they brought and gave me the fitting. AND if the plumber happens to remember, which I now doubt.....I told him, that I was no plumber, but that it does not appear that there is anything wrong with that fitting, that could have cause my drain to back up! Yes, I did throw the fitting out. In retrospect, I should have kept it, to prove myself right.
Also, they mentioned that if I was so dissatisfied with them, why would I use them again after the incident... well, I called them

I called to see if they could come out to my house to fix our sprinkler system on the same day I called . I didn't fully expect that they could accommodate me on such short notice, but they made an effort to get someone out to my house. They squeezed me in to their schedule, and as luck would have it, someone called to cancel, so there was even more time available. They evaluated my sprinkler system and identified almost two dozen problems with my sprinklers.
I was quoted $660. When I mentioned that I was an Angie's List member, they knocked off 10%. I agreed and they scheduled an appointment for the next day. Again they accommodated my schedule and finished their work in time for me to review and understand what work had been done. They found a two additional problems with the system, but fixed them without charging me any extra. Class act :-)
I will be using them again.

Response from Brian's Plumbing and Sprinklers, INC

"I just realized that my response to this review never posted. After reviewing the invoice, and checking the log, I have noticed that the customer is mistaken. This was an emergency call that we squeezed in late on a Friday. The customer complaint was that water was shooting up in the air and hitting his house. I told the customer that we would get there as soon as we could, and when he asked how much, I told him approximately $ 125 plus parts by what is sounded like over the phone. I wasn't sure at that point if it was a broken line, or broken head, or broken valve, but the prices are quoted the same way. The customer sounded anxious, so I got someone there as quick as I could. When the technician arrived, he found a solenoid valve that was chewed off by the customer's dog. He had the exact part on the truck to replace it with. I am pretty sure it took longer than 3 minutes to drive there, investigate the problem, shut down the water to the house, take off the old valve, find the new valve on his truck, install the new valve, turn the water back on, turn the sprinkler system back on, make sure it was functioning properly, write the invoice, and write down the customer's credit card information. The new part was $ 10.00. We charged the customer $ 135, not $ 165 like he wrote here in his comment. I have the invoice available, with the customer's signature on it, acknowledging he was satisfied with the work. He thanked the technician for getting there so quickly. We ran his credit card for $ 135, and then he called his bank and told them it was an unauthorized charge, so for 4 months, they gave him the money back, until his bank checked the invoice and realized it was authorized. We charged him exactly what we quoted. It seems to me that when he realized how easy the repair was, and how inexpensive the part was, he was annoyed he couldn't figure out himself. When the customer initiated the charge-back with his bank, I tried to call him many times. At first it just went to voice mail, and I left several messages. Then he finally picked up the phone and started cursing at me. I had Brian drive by the customer's house to make sure the valve was still ok, thinking maybe something happened to it, and that's why he got so angry, but the valve was still ok. The customer never did call me back, or email us, or send a letter, so to this day, I have no idea what the problem really was. His comment has the wrong amounts and times listed. Everyone we discussed this with, including his credit card company, have agreed that $ 135 for parts and labor, late on a Friday, for an emergency call that we squeezed into the schedule, that matched exactly what we quoted, was a fair price."

Due to the fact that my father is hearing-impaired and has regularly refused to allow any strangers into his residence to repair anything, it took a great amount of patience on Brian's part to win my father over (which he did) and now I know I can count on Brian to not only take care of my plumbing problems (as done in June of this year), but my dad's as well. I am very pleased with his courtesy, professionalism, and patience while he does a more than competent job.

I called Brian's Plumbing and asked about getting a kitchen faucet replaced. He told me how much it would be to replace it. Offered to either buy a faucet or I could buy my own. Advised me of any possible additional costs, like replacing a supply line, etc. I made an appointment and was advised they would come between 1pm-2pm. Which I think is acceptable in between time. On that day Brian called me around 1:15pm and said he was on his way and would be there in 15 minutes or so. He did arrive at 1:30pm. He was very friendly and did a very professional job. It took less than an hour for him to complete the job. I would defintely recommend Brian's Plumbing.
