actively helps you understand the cause of the pain. She strikes a balanced approach between empathy and a treatment plan that works for you. Making you realize you can trust she has your best interest at the forefront in her decision making. With her clear, direct, easy going communication style she provides treatment options fully explaining the pros & cons of each option in terms you can understand. You do not feel rushed through the exam and pushed out the door or just given a pill and sent home. Pleasant supporting staff that is easy to work with.

Pain Management
I'm sent back to see them again. I take my urine test and they give me nothing but don't say anything, just that she's(Abby) is going to send me to a chiropractor and start physical therapy. I have trouble doing daily activities I can't do these things. The whole point of pain management is for them to manage pain not make it worse. Well I called and they said they found something in my urine test I hadn't been prescribed in over a year. I hadn't been here in two years so. Then when my brother passed the following month I found out that I had to have two surgeries in one week so I called Dr Jones office and asked if I could please put my pain management on hold until my surgery stuff was done because I would be getting pain meds from another doctor and didn't want a conflict, if I did this could I come back to Abby, they said sure you can sweetheart. She called me sweetheart because I called her crying from Georgia when I went to my brother's funeral and told her all I was going through and couldn't deal. I got a call about a month later confirming my appointment so I went, I kept hearing what are you here for? Um you guys called and said I had an appointment. So Abby is apparently on vacation so I get Lisa who is very hateful with a handful of papers showing all of the pain medication that I have gotten from my two surgeries that I just had back-to-back with a kidney stone surgery and a major ankle surgery. She says I don't know what you're here for and I told her you guys said I had an appointment so I kept it I thought I would start my back injections. I told her that I had all the pain medication because of the surgeries I was sitting there in a wheelchair because I couldn't walk no amount of weight was I allowed to put on this cast it was still on my foot. She would not listen to anything I said she continued to interrupt me she would not hear anything, it got so bad with her interrupting me talking over me trying to say that I got medication from 8 different doctors which was a lie I had two different surgeries in one week I guess different doctors from the two surgeries and the two doctors that one from the kidney stone doctor and one from the the guy that did the initial sent me for the surgery writing the prescriptions all signed the different prescriptions add it up to 8 in their eyes I don't know but it was not 8 different doctors it was all for two surgeries she was not hearing. Add it up to 8 in their eyes I don't know but it was not 8 different doctors it was all for two surgeries she was not hearing it. My boyfriend just got up grab the back of my wheelchair and wheeled me out of the room when he got tired of her saying that it was up to Abby whether I was going to be kicked out or not so he decided that I was quitting so now I do not have a pain management doctor anymore because she was not going to listen to me what I said didn't matter all she was worried about was the hundred and eighty pain pills that I had in almost 2 months. Me trying to explain what I've been through or the fact that it was two surgeries in a week the fact that both doctors knew about the two surgeries or the pain that I was in did not matter to her all she was worried about was the fact that I did not read their pain contract I did not know that I was supposed to wake up from my surgery come straight to the pain clinic whether they were closed or not and bring my prescription in to be filled by them or to have them rewrite it I didn't know that my bad that was my mess up but that's absolutely ridiculous anyway. Dr. Jones is a wonderful wonderful doctor He was a very good doctor years ago when I saw him he traded my Payne he treated me with shots in my spine and my tailbone he treated me with pain medication he treated me with care he listened to every word that I said and he was nice to me he did not treat me like an addict he said I was not an addict he said that I was dependent on my medication to function in my life he cared Abby was standoffish she was very snobby but she cared although after she wrote the prescriptions that dr. Jones started me on for many years she then started questioning what I took she wrote them she wrote them for years then she questioned what she wrote that was just strange to me but Abby is also a very good whatever she is I guess registered nurse Abby is good but this practice is changing their changing because of the laws but they are changing Lisa is not good Lisa is a bad hateful person who does not need to be in this practice. She doesn't listen to patients she's hateful and when you have people that are in pain they're sad they're depressed because of their pain you don't need somebody like that you do not need somebody like that you treat the patient you do not treat the group you cannot treat the group treat the individual I don't care about the laws the laws can change I don't care if you have to give one pain pill per person per day you still have to treat the person not the group. She's hateful and when you have people that are in pain they're sad they're depressed because of their pain you don't need somebody like that you do not need somebody like that you treat the patient you do not treat the group you cannot treat the group treat the individual I don't care about the laws the laws can change I don't care if you have to give one pain pill per person per day you still have to treat the person not the group!

From the clueless front desk through the Office Manager and her Supervising Business manager, the operation of the office was more than chaotic and non-responsive. Call backs forget about them. Procedural and medical records progress reports and even data from outside referring doctors...none existent according to the front desk. FAX requests incoming and out going also non-existent or utterly botched (i.e. a 6 pg. MRI report was send with only 2 pages) same with referrals out. I did jump through the hoops of the trail spine injections and trigger point injections and a needlessly painful nerve conduction study by a hostile P.A. However after Finally getting appts. for the nerve cauterization surgeries (3 mos later on this STAT referral) barriers and 'new' rules to comply with were there to post pone this SIMPLE obliteration. procedure. i.e. my heretofore stable diabetic A1C had to reach the arbitrary number of UNDER 7. HUH? The A1C was only higher due to the many steroid/cortisone injections and the advanced PAIN which this office was causing. In utter pain and frustration I walked out of the appt. formerly scheduled for the procedure telling the P.A. I was done and found the prolonged wait for treatment unacceptable. I am now BANNED from ever being treated from Dr. Jones as per his own declaration.

First let me say my heart goes out to anyone who suffers with chronic pain and has been forced to go to the pain management clinics that have taken over patients who were formerly managed by their personal doctors. The new laws in Florida have a purpose but unfortunately much is and has been lost in the care of those patients who are not pill shopping. At this clinic they have much focus on the problems with narcotic abuse which is good but in their method of combating it they lump all patients into one group. After several visits you begin to feel as though you want to put on a dark trench coat and dark glasses just to enter the waiting room. It's sad really because Dr. Jones really is a good doctor, personable, good bedside manner and skilled at procedures. Unfortunately once he leaves the room you are now in the hands of his staff. You must be good at follow up on every aspect of your care and any procedure you want done. Don't assume they will follow up with you or carry out a request. More often requests go ignored before finally being addressed. Medication changes and trials can be very difficult under these circumstances. It took me 4 calls to finally get a nurse to call me back when I was having a bad reaction to a medication. Very frustrating. There have been several similar experiences. Its like they follow one path of operating and any varient on that path throws them out of whack. Solve any issues or even potential issues while you are at the office because trying to resolve them outside of a normal appointment can be very difficult. There is no support in place at this clinic for pain sufferers. No psycologist experienced with patients dealing with chronic pain (or even suggested), no support groups and no one in place to help you navigate your care.
