Ox Strong Movers

These guys were the BEST. I can't say enough how pleased we were with the work that Antwan (sp?) and Derrick performed for us. They were easy on our belongings, right there to answer any questions, and made two other stops to pick up furniture, including a heavy piano. By the time they were unloading the truck at the new house, it was dark, and we have a very steep (pitch toward the house) driveway and yard, but they didn't bat an eye at that challenge. We went over the estimated move time which was no problem because they price was good to begin with! If I ever need movers again, they will be the only ones to call. I recommend these guys over anybody else at any other company. Polite experienced, and professional through and through!

These guys were hands down the best movers we've ever used. They were incredibly professional, friendly fast, and careful with our possessions. They provided the truck, the movers (two great guys), the pads and tape and dolly, and all of the work packing and loading and unloading the truck and placement of furniture. We did not have to lift a finger! It was really amazing. The price was also extremely fair. All in all, it made moving far, far easier than it ever should be. We'll use Ox Strong any time we move in the future, and cannot recommend them enough.

They were prompt, very professional, and charged about a third of the cost of the other guys. I can recommend enough!

These guys came and had everything moved in a couple of hours. The did a very good job at wrapping furniture that needed to be wrapped.

Super! First, I love the fact that I could speak to a friendly human voice (Denise) on a Wednesday at 6:50pm and arrange for movers to pickup and deliver the lumber on a Friday at 3:00pm. Antwan and Chris were terrific. They showed up at 3:00pm on the dot (in spite of the fact that I had mistakenly given the wrong street address when I made the appointment and didn't realize it until mid afternoon.) There was actually about twice as much lumber as I originally thought, but Antwan and Chris worked swiftly and efficiently. I would definitely use Ox Strong Movers again.

You MUST use this company. This was my 19th move, and by far the best, even better than the large national chains. The movers were on time every day, carefully packed my antiques, paintings, fine china, and nothing was broken when they came to my new home in Tampa. They were respectful, worked quickly, and asked questions when they were uncertain about what we may have wanted. We will be using them again after our house sells to move all of the miscellaneous boxes in storage. In addition, this mover was much more reasonable than the other two quotes I obtained from the nationwide chains. Antwan, Ronde and Chris are the BEST!!!!!!!

Our movers, Marquis and Antwon, did a wonderful job in packing everything into their truck even when it looked like there was too much. They fit the puzzle pieces together and made it work! Upon arrival in Athens, they contacted us to let us know when they were going to arrive and did an excellent job of setting up the storage unit to be most accessible by creating aisles and stacking the boxes on both sides. They then delivered to our apartment and even dropped off a piano that was going to a friend's house. They were very fast, efficient and professional at all times. They were always checking to be sure that things were in the right place and that we were happy with the results. In addition, they were friendly and communicative. I have no reservations in recommending them to anyone making a move.

Ox Strong is a company I will use again and recommend to family and friends. In fact, I already have! They arrived at the promised time, assessed the contents of my home and were extremely professional throughout the move. They were gentle with my breakables and took the time to professionally wrap all my furniture. When we got to the new home, they had my house unloaded and set up in no time at all, including helping me re-assemble my flat screen! I continued to be impressed when they ended at a price under the completely-reasonable quote I was given. Like I said, they are complete professionals that understand time constraints and I won't hesitate to use them again.

Ox Strong was one of 3 movers that we called based on Angie's List reviews. Scheduling was prompt and courteous, plus they were running a special which made Ox Strong's bid the lowest. The quality of service made it a terrific deal. While the guys were a little late (definitely less than 30 minutes), they called in advance of the appointment time to let us know. They were very courteous, good natured and efficient as they went about the work. They carefully wrapped and moved our extremely heavy furniture - desk, credenza, armoire, bedroom suite. Not even the slightest scratch/dent on any piece. As we told Antwan and Chris, we will definitely call Ox Strong again!

Ox movers were a little late but they called ahead of time to inform me which was very courteous. The move went very well they broke down the beds and shrink wrapped all the dressers so we did not have to unpack them. All boxes were labeled and the unpacking was quick and painless. I would highly recommend these movers.

The movers were GREAT! They shrunk wrapped all of the furniture. They were very patient with us getting everything ready for them to load, and were very professional. They made the move in a timely manner, and their prices were great. Both of the movers had years of experience moving. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone considering a move.

From the first time I met Antwan, I liked him. He explained how they would work, how everything would be shrink wrapped and padded as necessary. His rate was considerably lower than some other quotes I had (1/2 of some) and there was something that made me believe in him. There were 19 positive reviews for him on Angie's list which made me skeptical--too many good reviews for a short period of time but I did my research and was assured by Angie's list that the reviews were genuine. When I made the arrangements with Denise, she could not have been more accommodating. The date was confirmed and Antwan called the night before to just reassure us they would be there in the morning...and they were--right on time. They loaded all without incident--no marked walls/floors/damaged anything. They had us check the truck to make sure we had everything and then they locked the truck and handed me the key! Antwan and Chris were polite, friendly and efficient. They arrived the next morning and (after unlocking the truck with my key) unloaded all into our home....again without incident. They were a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend them.

Very professional and cordial from beginning to end! This provider was one of 6 I contacted and was the only one that was willing to call me and tell me they were trying to work me in. My husband is a disabled Veteran with multiple injuries and is not permitted to lift items so these guys were really important for us! I would highly recommend this company due to the professional and enthusiastic way I was treated by the administrative staff down to the movers. 100% worth every penny!

They told us they would be there at 7a. They arrived ontime, were friendly, and very efficient. They were done moving everything out quicker then we thought. They were very careful with the things we were moving and careful with the property that we were moving out of and moving into.

From the first telephone conversation I felt Denise and Jason cared a lot about their business and about their customers. They were anxious to ease my concerns by making the move as easy as possible, Antwon and Chris drove their truck down the night before and stayed in a local motel, and called me to confirm their arrival and loading schedule for the next day. Once on the job they were remarkable: Antwon took the lead to and quot;tetrisand quot; the truck with my items and Chris moved the heaviest items that I could not even budge with ease. It took 1and frac12; hours to load. They were fast, efficient, friendly, and very careful to protect all the delicate pieces. They covered them with thick blankets and wrapped them in cellophane to protect them even more. It is all anyone could ask. Upon arriving in Tallahassee they found the truck would not go up my driveway because of overhead electrical wires. They quickly went to plan B and began unloading with dollies going up a small hill. They made a very difficult task look easy even negotiating narrow house hallways well. Nothing was damaged. They made sure they put each piece where I needed it. It took 1and frac14; hours to unload. They were remarkable and I would gladly recommend them.

These guys are the best. I have used them 3 times in the past 6 months. They move furniture between houses; move furniture from one room to another (big items that need to be dismantled). I'm using them soon to move my college student daughter out of her apartment and back home. I've used them on jobs from 7 hours to 2 hours in length. Each time I was fully satisified. Antwon and Chris are very professional. They are extremely courteous and always on time. They are very reliable, safety (of your stuff) conscious, and hard workers. They are very clear in the scope of the job and the cost estimate. Very fair and reasonable rates. I can't recommend them highly enough. They were referred to me by a friend who saw them on Angie's list as the top rated local mover. She used them and was very happy and satisfied, so I started using them. I recommend them whenever I can.

A++++++++++ I will have to say I have never experience this type of service in my life. Chris and Antwan were the nicest and most professional guys I have met. They were on time and took extra time making sure all of our stuff was not going to get damaged. They work very fast and are very efficiently. I think they should charge more for how hard they work. We tipped them very well because they deserved it. I was sad when they job was done because I enjoyed talking with them and listing to some of the funny moving stories they told me.

These guys were wonderful. I had Chris and Antwon. They were friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient. They did a great job, and we had a lot of fun. Everything arrived at my new place in very good shape - no breakage or problems. I will use them next time I move for sure!

There were three men: Antoine, Chris and Marketh. They were all freindly with me and with each other. They cleared out the storage unit, a 10 X 15, loaded up to the ceiling. They loaded the goods into their truck. They had moving-dollies, blankets, all sorts of tie-down aparatae, and etc. Once the unit was cleared and the truck loaded, they followed me to the house. The house is on a rise and there are no side-doors, wo they had to use the front door, which meant climbing two steep stair sets (one five-step, and one three step.). Thry treated all the goods with care and caution. I directed them on where to put things and they did wthout complaint, All of the above was accomplished in two and a quarter hours!!!! (woudl have taken us, at least, all day.) I thanked them each of them generously.

Antoine and Chris moved my furniture and a ton of boxes. They were fabulous, Very professional and did a great job moving me. They shrink wrapped my furniture and took down and set up my bed. They carefully placed everything in my home. I can't say enough good things about them. And cheap to boot. The cost of the move was for 5 hours.

We selected Ox Strong because of the strong recommendations on Angie's List. The movers exceeded all of our expectations. It was a complicated move involving moving our belongings from a large house to two other houses, one of them out of state. Move #1 took place on a Wednesday. Antwon, Chris and Marquee were friendly, professional and efficient. All furnishings were securely wrapped and stowed in the Ox Strong truck. The guys got our belongings moved to a townhouse across town and carefully placed and set up the furnishings, including beds and washer and dryer. Move #2 started three days later. As before, the truck was carefully and efficiently loaded. This move included the transportation of a valuable grandfather's clock and upright piano as well as tools and electronics and lots of furniture. The destination was our mountain home near north Georgia. Once again the guys with Ox Strong lived up to their name. Antwon and Chris expertly handled the drive and delivery up a narrow mountain road. All furnishings and other items were unloaded and set up without damage. The piano and grandfather clock were handled very skillfully with extreme care. In sum, the guys at Ox Strong did an exceptional job. The price was very reasonable. The guys were professional, courteous, enthusiastic and of good humor. We are very satisfied customers and recommend them without reservation.

Professional and courteous. Antoine and Chris introduced themselves, and went straight to work to remove the old bedframe, mattress and box springs from the upstairs bedroom. These large, cumbersome pieces were handled with care and professionally moved out of the house. All paperwork was explained, and the price was as quoted. Thank you, Antoine and Chris, for a job well done!

About a week before we were scheduled to move, we lost our house. It was in foreclosure, and we couldn’t move in because the bank took it. We had already scheduled Ox Strong Movers to come that Saturday and move our stuff. They were really kind and flexible with the sudden plan change. We had to move our stuff out of one house and into a pod. Then we had to live in a temporary place for a week, and then move everything out of the pod and into the new house. Ox Strong Movers were incredible. The day we moved everything into the pod they called before they arrived and showed up right on time. They were professional and friendly, and had paperwork for me to read over and sign. They packed almost all of a 1600 square foot house into that pod, then took the rest of the things to my parents’ house and put it all in storage. It was all done in less than 4 hours! When we moved from the pod into the new house, they again called and there was a plan change. The pod hadn’t arrived at the new house yet, so I had them go to my parents’ house first to get everything from there. They didn’t complain, even though they were almost at the new house. The same guys—Antwon, Chris, and Markeith—showed up at my parents’ house. They were very friendly and packed everything with care. They are the only movers I have allowed to move my 42” flatscreen TV! Again they got everything moved into the new house in 2.25 hours. Everything they took apart—bed, washer, dryer, furniture—they put back together before they left. When moving things into the house, they patiently waited for me to tell them where to put all the boxes. I’m just blown away with how professional, friendly and careful they were. At one point, I hurt my back, and the guys actually told me to sit down and relax, and to “Take a load off.” I felt confident that everything would be taken care of by them. After they left, we couldn’t find the legs to my boyfriend’s desk. We called Antwon directly and he called us right back and told us where they were. I lost nothing in the move, and nothing was damaged! I’ve moved a lot, and I’ve never had a more pleasant moving experience, even though I’ve never had more stuff than I do now. Whenever I move out of town, I will be calling Ox Strong Movers, no matter where I’m going! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! You will not be sorry.
