When they estimated job my concern was paving on top of walkway and was told that it would not be a problem. After only 6 months I had pavers coming loose as well as the fill used between pavers is non-existent now. Very poor job and would never use or recommend them to anyone. I did contact company 6 months later to fix problems starting but got no follow up to fix problem.

Marc Bell and his team were very professional, courteous and willing to do whatever was needed to complete the job in an outstanding manner to both the company and us. From the first encounter when Marc came to estimate the job to the finished product, this company couldn’t do enough to ensure we were satisfied. They designed and constructed a walkway lined with steel edging and filled with limestone, interspersed with large flagstone steppingstones. Under the walkway, they placed a catch basin drain and piping to channel any water runoff away from the walkway. Sod and pine straw were also professionally installed.

Marc and his team are phenomenal to work with. They are knowledgeable about all facets of the project, even those that you may not expect such as electrical work, plumbing, etc. This allows delays to keep to a minimum and the project to advance as quickly as possible. Marc even delivered materials to our house the day before the hurricane and was on-site working the day after the hurricane cleared out. Marc is extremely responsive, always answering the phone to talk through different questions I had and calling me pro-actively to discuss design elements and other items that arise during the project. Even now, after the project is completed and payment already made, Marc is making himself available on a Saturday to come to back over and show us how to begin the sealing process, which we opted to do ourselves. The professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail are top notch. Include that with a very competitive price and MayDay makes for a great option for your project.

Great! The MayDay team came up with a design for the retaining wall that both complemented the front of the house and addressed the erosion problems. The crew that did the work was quite skilled, had excellent attention to detail, and did the work promptly.

From start to finish, it went superbly. Anthony is smart and friendly and explained every detail.

From beginning to end, our patio installation went great! When Marc came for the consultation, he had great ideas for us for the design. The installation went smoothly, and we were so pleased with the results. We appreciated how Caleb took pride in his work, and took time to create eye-catching steps, and a nice design at the pool corners. May Day did an outstanding job from the initial quote to completion of the work. The grass in our front and backyard was struggling, with many patchy areas. Clay and roots were also an issue. Marc reviewed our yard, and then provided us with what we felt was a fair proposal. As requested, he had broken down each element of the proposed work so that we could pick and chose to fit our budget. He also suggested additional items such as underground drainage hose from our rain gutters to a wooded area behind our house for improved drainage. He provided a list of suggested plants for our flower beds, designed for climate and the look of the house/yard. The work proceeded well with the crew. They brought in fill dirt and topsoil, and graded it nicely. This included breaking up some of the areas of clay in the front yard, and making a nice blend with topsoil. in the back yard, he had suggested a gentle slope away from our back patio, which was elevated somewhat from the rest of the backyard. This was done well and looks great. They laid approximately 10,000 SQ FT of sod between the front and back yards. They also prepped the flower beds by removing the roots from the previous shrubs, and installed a variety of plants in a pleasing design. They cut-in the edges of the sod to fit sidewalks and driveways, and around trees. The job looks very professionally done. This work took 7 or 8 business days. The crew cleaned up sidewalks and the driveway at the end of each day. The workers were courteous and respectful of our property. There are a couple of minor issues which Marc has promised to address. We would certainly use May Day again for landscaping needs. We have recommended them to acquaintances.

Wonderful customer service and great prices. Anthony was extremely helpful and patient with all of our questions we had about landscaping and building a dry creek. He really listened to what we wanted to accomplish and recommended a great product to get the results we wanted. We will certainly be going there again and would recommend them to anyone.

He never called back to set up an appointment for work so it did not go well.

Anthony Rose from May Day was very professional and courteous. The work was just incredible - the attention to detail was flawless. He and his crew mate arrived on time and did the work in the appointed timeframe. They cleaned up the area afterwards and left it as they found it. I highly recommend them. NOTE: the attached picture doesn't show the completed landscaping with mulch and rest of plants.

I needed a walkway from the driveway to the front porch. Anthony installed a path made of pavers and also reconfigured some of the plantings. The goal was to make it look as if it had been there since the house was built, not an afterthought or add-on. He succeeded in doing so. To minimize waste and cost, he transplanted and reused some of the plants and shrubs. All held up very well except for one. The other half of the project involved my driveway. The grass strips in my driveway were a nuisance to maintain. And they restricted parking. So Anthony removed the grass and filled the spaces with the same pavers as those in the walkway. They both look great. My neighbors have even complimented the work. I would absolutely hire him again!

Professionally analyzed the situation and made recommendations. I had estimates that were much lower but his estimate of what really had to be done to comply with code and to prevent future failure  required complete demolition and replacement made his estimate worth the price. WE were pleased with the result. 

The back of our house has never looked great. Not enough sun. Grass always died in patches. Finally,after 15 years we decided to do something to improve it. We drew up a rough plan and made a visit to Mayday to get their help. Mark came out to the house and did a rough layout of the plan and suggested modifications. When we were somewhat in agreement he went back to the shop to work up a price. He called the next morning and had the estimate. We went back to Mayday to look at the different synthetic grasses on display. We also looked at the pavers he suggested using. After a few changes he came back to the house and did a more detailed layout. We gave him a deposit on 3/11 and they ordered what was needed. In a couple of days the workers were at the house preparing the site and laying the pavers. It took about a week for the synthetic grass to arrive from Texas. When it came in, they were at the house to complete the job. When finished our backyard looked great! My wife was happy and therefore I was happy. Also I no longer have to mess with trying to grow and maintain grass back there again.
Mark and Rick were just great, easy to work with and the completed project far exceeded our expectations!

The trees were beautiful and professionally installed. The small sego beds looked great. As for the erosion repair, there was a massive rainstorm for several days shortly after the repair was done, and most of the dirt and sod washed away. Anthony came by on a Sunday to assess the damage and try to cover the repair with a tarp, but it rained for days. When the rain stopped, Anthony and his crew arrived and repaired the damage and reinstalled the sod. He also devised a clever water diversion system that we are still using until the sod is fully rooted. He followed up after the next big rainstorm to see how the repair held. So far, so good. I was never charged a penny more than his original estimate, despite the substantial additional work that was done. I loved working with Anthony. He is very professional and very good at what he does. I am particularly impressed by the respectful manner in which he interacts with his employees. I have already referred someone else to him, and I would definitely use him again for future landscaping needs.
