Terrible and frustrating. She met with us (September) to hear our hopes for the site, took some pictures, and 2 months later - designed two pages. Did not return emails or phone calls on a timely basis and was terminated from the project in December. Original job was for $5,000 - she was paid 1/3 up front. When fired I thought it was reasonable to offer her something for the work done thus far. She valued her work at $2,000 and provided us a "discount" down to the $1,650 - the first check she had already cashed. It has taken me till February to get an invoice from her for the work. As this is not my field it is hard for me to value the work done thus far but for pictures and two pages (not even completed!) and such a sour experience -$1,650 seems very pricey. And the fact that I had repeatedly ask for an invoice for my records just adds insult to injury. While I am glad to have my business settled and over, if I had known then what I know now - I would have asked for a full refund and apology for delaying our project so long.
