"We’re extremely disappointed by the tone and content of your review — not because you had concerns (which we’re always open to addressing), but because you chose to publicly misrepresent the project while omitting important facts that tell the full story. That’s not just unfair — it’s dishonest. Let’s be clear about the full context: You first hired us to install a stamped concrete walkway, and the results spoke for themselves. You expressed complete satisfaction with the workmanship and appearance. In fact, you were so impressed that you immediately hired us for a second project — a testament to the trust and confidence you had in our work at that time. The second project — your driveway — was detailed in a written contract that you reviewed and signed. This contract included: A full explanation of the scope of work: a seal coat application to preserve and improve the appearance of your existing asphalt. Images clearly showing the before and after expectations. Acknowledgment that the goal was to mitigate (not eliminate) visible cracks — which was discussed with you directly and agreed upon. There was never any mention, promise, or implication of a full asphalt resurfacing or an asphalt layer. That simply wasn’t part of the deal, and to suggest otherwise is false. During the project, you requested we fill in some wider gaps, and we complied, even though that was beyond the original scope. We did this in good faith and without charging extra, as part of our continued commitment to customer service. After the seal coat work was complete, you asked about doing your entire driveway in stamped concrete. We offered to do that at cost — with no markup whatsoever — just to ensure you were fully satisfied. Again, that was not something we had to offer, but we did it because we value our clients. You chose not to pursue that option. We remained available and in communication the entire time. When you later expressed dissatisfaction, we even offered to prorate the outstanding balance, despite the fact that 50% of the contract amount was still unpaid. That offer remains a clear example of us acting in good faith and doing everything we could to meet you halfway. Then you stopped responding. We reached out multiple times and gave you every opportunity to discuss your concerns professionally. Instead of engaging in a constructive conversation, you chose to leave this incomplete and misleading review. Let’s be frank: you are presenting only a selective version of events — one that ignores the signed contract, the work that was completed per your approval, the additional accommodations we made, the cost-saving offer we extended, and your own silence when we reached out to resolve the matter. We take pride in our work, and we stand by the quality, professionalism, and transparency we brought to every step of your project. While we regret that you feel dissatisfied, it is unacceptable to use false implications and partial truths to discredit our team — especially after we made every effort to ensure you were informed, involved, and given every chance to be satisfied. We’re still willing to speak with you directly to resolve this in a fair and professional manner. But we will not allow our name to be tarnished by misleading accusations that ignore the facts. Sincerely, The Concrete Club LLC"
"Thank you for your feedback. We take your concerns seriously and regret the issues you experienced. I’d like to clarify that the project manager overseeing your job was terminated shortly after due to this specific issue, along with another quality-related problem within the company. However, communication was never lost between us and our clients, and we made a visit to your property to assess the concerns raised, as is our protocol. We strive for high-quality results and continuously work to improve our processes. Your feedback is valuable, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused during the project."
