Company made a mistake when removing passive solar panels causing water circulation to stop, burning out my pool pump. denied responsibility and offered to replace the pump for $1,000, which made me very suspicions. when i replaced the pump i discovered their mistake. they had shut off the wrong switch that was only supposed to stop circulation to the panels, but instead stopped all the water circulation. owner claimed he checked after turning off the switch, but he did not. i was standing right there and saw him flip the switch and leave. when my new pump would not work at first, i flipped the switch he shut off and it began working fine. asked him to pay for just a small portion of the damage he had caused, but he refused and has not gotten back to me as promised.

After having Treasure Coast Solar install a hot water heating system in our first home here, when we moved, we had him put multiple solar panels on our property to keep our lap pool warm. Even with a high output and highly rated, efficient propane pool heater, we could go through 200 gallons of propane in a month. David installed a solar system over 8 years ago now and we have even disconnected our propane heater. We now have a great system. With minor problems occasionally, David has returned almost immediately to remedy any issues. We have recommended him to many others who have been as happy with his work as we have been. He's responsible, prompt and does great work.

This is one excellent company. Called for needed repair & responded the very next day. Assessed & thoroughly explained the issue which was taken care of immediately. Very professional group who are concerned about doing their job right with little wasted time.

The company was very responsive to our phone calls and came out to service very promptly. The guys were all very professional and resolved the issue quickly. Dave was very professional and courteous. I called at 8:30 am and he was here at 9. I greatly appreciated his promptness and fixed our system in an hour. I would definitely recommend him.

Poorly. They arrived as promised and told me that my electrical back-up had shut off when the temperature got too hot. They turned it back on and installed a thermostat so that it wouldn't happen again. He charged me $250 for the thermostat and service call. He also advised that it might be the pump as there was no sun out that day. However, I had told him that I heard the pump running a couple of days previously. Two days later I called again as the pump was not running. They came out again and told me I needed a new pump and that would cost me an additional $350. When I objected, I was told that the men had to be paid for a second call. I declined and called another company. It turns out there was a connection problem on the roof and there was nothing wrong with the pump.

TREASURE COAST SOLAR CAME OUT TO REPLACE ONE FAFCO WARRANTED PANEL I KNEW WAS DEFECTIVE AND LEAKING. TREASURE COAST AGREED TO A TIME TO DO THE WORK, AND THEY SHOWED UP PROMPTLY. THEY DISCOVERED A SECOND LEAKING WARRANTED FAFCO PANEL WHILE THEY WERE WORKING, AND THEY HAD THE FORESIGHT TO BRING AN EXTRA PANEL, SO THEY WERE ABLE TO REPLACE THAT DEFECTIVE FAFCO PANEL ALSO. AFTER THEY HAD LEFT MY HOME, I DISCOVERED A LEAK FROM THE AREA OF ONE OF THE PANELS THEY HAD REPLACED. TREASURE COAST'S OWNER, DAVID, AGREED TO COME BACK THE VERY NEXT DAY TO CHECK THE SOURCE OF THE LEAK. THEY DID SO, FOUND AND RESEATED A LEAKING PIPE FITTING, AND MADE SURE SEVERAL TIE DOWN STRAPS WERE TIGHTENED. THE SYSTEM IS WORKING PROPERLY NOW. I WAS IMPRESSED BY THE COMPANY'S OWNER - DAVID - WHO RESPONDED PROMPTLY, WAS PRESENT WHEN HIS TEAM CAME OUT TO OUR HOME THE FIRST TIME TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE FAFCO PANELS, AND WHO RESPONDED PROMPTLY WHEN I DISCOVERED THE LEAKY PIPE CONNECTION. I WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND RECOMMENDING IT TO OTHERS.

The TC Solar team ordered, showed up and installed my solar panel efficiently, and timely. Dave is an honest, forthright businessman. I also needed to have two pumps installed, and did not hesitate to have his crew perform this work for me. I have recommended him to friends and will contact him in the future to install a solar pool heater.

We were in need of a new pool pump. Since this company put in our Solar Heating unit, we called them to look at our old pump for replacement. The following day, August 5th, a Saturday, David Fischer was here and replaced the pump in no time! Again, we were more than pleased with his prompt service and great workmanship! Whenwe reviewed the installation of the Solar Panels, I said that we would hire this company again, and we did. I have to add, that during Hurricane Irma, this area had high winds which made us fear that the new Solar panels might fly away or be severely damaged.....the were very noisy during the height of the storm, however, the panels remained intact. Since we were concerned about any unseen damage that might have occurred, we called David again to ask if he could check them out. They were not leaking or malfunctioning, however, following a hurricane, we felt it prudent to have them examined. We were able to reach David directly and he said he would be out to check them! Again, we were pleased with David's fast response. We could not be happier with this pool company. This should be your choice if you are looking for a pool company that is second to none!

The next day I recieved a call stating the time he would arrive, he was prompt and courteous. The first thing done was to check out the system. With the help of several assistants, one of which was Mr. Fischers sons, an evaluation was made and an estimate given. An agreement was made, the work was done, the price was right and I would gladly call Mr.Fischer and his crew again.

Called Treasure Coast Solar and requested to arrange to have solar panels removed, and safely placed in an area adjacent to the pool while the Roofers replaced the roof. Was advised that it would be $660.00 to remove the solar panels before the roof replacement began, and then re-install the solar panels after the new roof was done, and no payment would be expected until the panels had been re-installed. It was suggested that, in the event of possible rain, that I schedule the removal for at least a week before the roof replacement was scheduled to begin, so that there would sufficient time to get the solar panels removed before the roof replacement began. Fortunately no rain on date scheduled for solar panel removal. Treasure Coast Solar arrived on time, as scheduled, and immediately set about removing the solar panels, placing them where we requested they be placed so they would be safely out of the way during the roof replacement construction. Called Treasure Coast Solar approximately a month later, when the roof replacement was done but awaiting final inspection by County Building Inspector. Set a tentative date, pending final inspection of roof, to have the re-installation of the solar panels, and was requested to call and confirm re-installation date once roof had passed inspection by the County Building Inspector, which I did. Unfortunately it rained in the early morning hours of the day that the re-install was scheduled, but I received a courtesy call from Treasure Coast Solar explaining that it would not be safe to work on a wet roof, and the materials used would not adhere to a wet roof, so they would have to delay the re-installation for a few hours to allow the roof to dry. I was impressed by the professionalism of this courtesy call to explain that they would have to do the re-installation a few hours later than scheduled, and the reasons why. Treasure Coast Solar arrived later that morning, once the roof had dried, and quickly set about re-installing the solar panels. Once the solar panels were re-installed they started up the solar system and checked to make sure that it was working properly. Fortunately all the panels (which are expensive) were working properly...unfortunately, they determined that the system Controller and one of the sensors were not working (possibly having been damaged when the construction crews working on replacing the siding on the house had detached the control unit from the side of the house, and laid it on the ground), so they had to replace the controller and the sensor (and additional $440.00). We were extremely pleased with the professionalism and conscientious work of Treasure Coast Solar, and we would definitely use this company again for any issues with our Solar Pool Heater system, and would not hesitate to recommend them to other people looking for a professional and competent company to work on their solar systems.

Very well! They came out, gave us a written proposal and presented us with a packet of information about the solar heater, warranty, copy of the Martin County Building permit, etc. It was totally professional and was done within 2.5 hours....start to finish! We were very pleased and would hire this company again! We also would recommend Treasure Coast Solar to anyone who needs a solar heating system installed! This was another great experience with Angie's list contractors!

Installed the heat pump approx 7 yrs ago.  Was never happy with its performance or the cost when running it.
Called David (TCS Owner) one day and he was at my house within an hour.
We discussed the job and he provided an estimate, which I accepted on the spot.
He did not ask for any front money.
David ordered the panels and installed the system within a week or so, as promised.
 A month or so later, I noticed that one of the panels was leaking.  Called David and he replaced the panel the following day.
We are very happy with the service provided and the solar system performance.  
Spending a lot more time in the pool as a result with no additional monthly charges, the pool heats while it filers.

Had been missing one of our solar panels since a year ago when a leak was repaired by a regular plumber

David and assistant were here on time at 9:00 am.
replaced the panel, repaired the leak in the plumbing
added a vacuum breaker and fixed flex hose.
All finished in under an hour.
The service was excellent and he was quick and very inexpensive. The cost on the panel was $400.00 so every thing else he did was only $150.00
I would use them again anytime I needed work done on the solar heater or my solar hot water system.

They were very good. They were prompt, and they came when they said they were going to. They returned the call within the same day. They gave me a good estimate. My brother had recommended them to me. They were very professional. The work that was completed at my brother's was excellent. I was just very pleased. Their service is very valuable in this area because electricity is high. There is rarely any gas available. On the treasure coast of Florida, quite a few people have swimming pools and everyone has a hot water heater that is expensive to run. So solar heat would be excellent. It's a 30 year guarantee on the hot water heater and a 10 year guarantee for panels for the swimming panel. They haven't finished installing. It comes in the size of our pool. They are a little bit less than an electric heater/heat pump. We have no monthly bill once installed. The gas heater would probably be $400 a month in addition to the electric bill. We would never have to pay for our hot water tank/heater.
