Johns Plumbing

I had received an estimate from another plumbing company and thought it was outrageously high ($179) to change out one threaded valve that feeds the washing machine hose. It looked like a fairly simple job to me, with no soldering or cutting of pipes involved. I called Johns Plumbing after reading the recommendations on Angies List and they gave me a VERY FAIR ($95) price quote over the phone. Ken arrived as scheduled and quickly assessed the situation and got to work. He explained every detail of the job to me. At first I was only going to have one valve that was frozen changed out, but he told me that it wouldn't cost a penny more to do them both, and he would be happy to replace my hoses for me too (I had the parts already). He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable and I will not hesitate to use them for all my future plumbing needs and highly recommend them to anyone needing an experienced and very reasonably priced plumber!  Thank you Ken and thank you John's Plumbing!!

When I called and spoke to Bill on Friday, he gave me heads up on what the worst case scenario would be which I appreciated so it wouldn't be a surprise expense.  He showed up as promised Monday and luckily washers were all we needed. We are new to the area and have not had to deal with home repairs etc. for many years so we appreciated all his helpful information.

Owner arrived even earlier than promised. Saw the leak. Knew it wasthe disposal.Replaced it and cleaned up.All done quickly and efficiently.

Called on a Friday and got a callback Monday morning that the plumber was on the way.  Showed up in a timely manner, did great work and left.  The price was right and the service was awesome!

What a find?  Bill, Ken and Wendy have been wonderful to work with. They are a wealth of information in general.  The $ estimate was "on the money" as well as how long it would take them to complete the job.  They arrived when they said they would.

I met with Wendy today back at the office and she helped me select kits to replace pitted faucet handles in our shower and tubs.  They made sure I understood it would be easy to do myself, but I chose to have them do the installation.

 I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and was glad someone chose to recommend them to me!

Everything went very well.  Since the name of the company is John's "Do It Yourself" Plumbing, they give you the opportunity to buy the part from them and they will tell you what to do, instead of paying for a service call, which would have saved me $95.  I chose to have the plumber come out in case I ran into difficulty.  He was very helpful and explanitory and showed me everything he was doing in case I wanted to do it myself the next time.

They were very reliable. They called and arrived when they said they would. They did a great job.
