I found Face of Wood Flooring over the internet. In the past, I had some bad experiences hiring companies from local magazines or internet. However, after a couple of days researching  and reading reviews, I decided to request a quote. The overall experience was great. Since the person over the phone, and special thanks to Kaike for his time, honesty and punctuality He really knows his market and can give you the best advice according with your expectations and budget. He promised that I would have my job finished by today and it happened that way. . Beautiful and great quality laminate floor and also special thanks to all the people who worked in my home for 2 days. Very careful and respectful people. Very PROFESSIONAL work. They moved all my furniture and put I back with gentleness. They made sure to cleanup everything. I will highly recommend this company to my family members  and real estate network partners. Face of Wood did an excellent job installing laminates in 2 bedrooms, closet & walk in closet. Removed old baseboards and installed new ones. They arrived on time and did an excellent job with both the laminates & baseboards. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality and affordability.

Showed up on time, professional, polite and fast- Job was done exceeding expectations.

Hit a couple of bumps with scheduling at the beginning, but they were quick to respond and set things up.  Communication was via phone and text, which is a plus in my book.  Painters arrived on time and were super nice.  Got everything done in the 8 hours that we had agreed on.  Cleaned up after themselves and took all trash away.  I was very pleased with the job.  If we need more painting done in the future, I would call them again.

This is the second time I have used Face of Wood, the first being to install hardwood floors.  Once again, they exceed expectations and perform excellent work.  After purchasing the deal, contact was immediate and a site visit was completed within 48 hours.  They went out of their way to get the job done quickly.  The painter was friendly, did excellent work, and cleaned up beautifully after.  I happened to be taking down Christmas lights off my house during the time he was doing the job and he saw me on the ladder.  He came over and offered to help, as he stated that he is used to being on ladders often and was concerned about my safety climbing high onto my roof.  Although it wasn't necessary, it was genuinely kind and I felt it showed what kind of excellent service one can expect.  I will definitely hire this company again in the future.

Had to remove some planks installed previously by another outfit.  First day the removal and repairs were performed, the day after the planks were sanded down and re-varnished.

We looked at several different flooring companies and settled on Face of Wood.  They had a competitive price on labor and material and great customer service.  They were very punctual and polite.  There was a slight language issue in that the installers spoke only Portuguese.  We simply spoke with the customer service rep that did our free in home estimate. The only other issue was that we originally opted to remove our current baseboard and then reinstall the original baseboard since the baseboard was in excellent shape.  Unfortunately, removing baseboard is not a delicate process and despite their best efforts it got dinged up in the process.  It as ended up with some noticeable to the naked eye gaps between the new floor in the reinstalled baseboard.  We saw this after day one and spoke with Face of Wood's customer service.  The solution, which was presented to us as in option in the beginning (we just elected a the baseboard option), was to leaving the remaining baseboards that had not been removing on and install quarter round and put quarter round in the rooms the baseboard had already been removed and then reinstalled.  This solved the gap issue in the rooms that had been done already and it looked perfect in the rooms that we caught ahead of time.  The quality of the workmanship was superb and the installers were very nice and professional.  They cleaned up after each work day. I highly recommend face of wood and would use them again in a heart beat.

It was all well planned out. They had different crews for each phase, installing the sub flooring then the flooring and finally the baseboards. Each team were experts in what they did. They started the job and ended it when they said they would and each day they were on time. I have used them again for another job and again I was very happy and I am very picky!

Excellent job!  Looks better than new.  They glued any loose sections, sanded, stained and put 3 coats of water based satin finish.
  Another contractor came to look at job and did not want to refinish.  He wanted to replace, but teak parquet is no longer available due to scarcity, so the replacement would have had to be some other wood.
We love our floors and now that they are refinished, I trust they will last another 38 years, far longer than we will, no doubt!

They were prompt and the floor looks great. REALLY BEAUTIFUL. They were polite and answered all questions and I had a lot! with patience and support. They arrived on time and finished in one day. I think the price was a little high, but in truth, I have never had this done before, so I am not sure (In New York my apartment came with beautiful parquet floors) so perhaps it was not high. But, aside from that: GREAT COMPANY. Totally professional, polite and VERY RESPONSIVE. If you call, they answer you immediately. I l loved that. I would recommend them totally. Great people to work with.

Excellent work on the installation and the customer service was wonderful.  I would have no hesitation using this company again in the future.
