I am the first time owner of a septic system and was taken advantage of because I told them I didn't know anything about septic systems. What is a normal charge for a cleanout? Hired them to clean out my septic system and when I got the bill a few days later it was over $1000 with a $340.58 charge for repairs. 2 guys were here for about an hour, sucked out the system and power washed it down. I saw the empty tank, no repairs were needed or done. I called and left a message, asking them to check the billing. I got a return call and the guy told me he looked at the pictures and video and that my system was not repaired and he would issue a credit for that amount in a couple days. A month later after not receiving the credit I called again and left a message, 4 more calls no return call. Now I'm disputing through the credit card company. Very s***** customer service. I needed some plumbing work but they didn't show up to give me an estimate, good thing since I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. Should change the name from Cooke's to Crook's, buyer beware.

They came and emptied one side and not the other, today we are having the same problem where the toilet doesn't flush. Called a plumber to see is there was something else wrong and was informed that there are two sides to the tank with two lids and both should have been sucked out. After telling girls at work how much Cooke's charged I was informed they paid only half to get theirs cleaned. And we had a coupon for $10.00 off and still we paid double.

It was like the played games. They would say well we need to do this and that, it was like they were price gouging. But they left they said we need to dig up your floor inside your house. They used us. They were very nice, very cordial, professionally dressed with good responsive time. But when you have a clogged drain and they say they will go blow it out and that will help temporarily and that was very expensive. I would not use them again. They are crooks.
Description of Work: They came out to troubleshoot a toilet issue.
