My new car is brand new and I also have a Volkswagen. I took my older car there.  It was under warranty, so it was free but we weren’t happy with the service. They were trying to scam us. My wife took the car there and there was something wrong with the gear. It drew my attention and I could hear it, and I am no mechanic. I relied on them to figure it out. We took it out 2-3 times, and they checked it again and again and said there was nothing wrong with it. They checked it from head to toe 3-4 times. There was no oil in it, and I believe they were trying to get that engine to boil up so they could have some work to do. That is how my wife ended up with a new car. It was not a good experience. I talked to their service manager and told him about it. It was $1200-$1300 and I don’t think they needed that at all. They didn’t charge me for it because it was under warranty. Even though I had this recent problem with them, I think they did everything they could to try to make me happy about it. They did not take it easy and just say that they will not be getting me back there. I got some phone calls. They continue to want my service. I haven’t been back there since then, but I will go back again. Their office manager said that it was a training issue that they have to understand what they do in the shop all the way through the sales department.
