Tree Service
It turned out that that job was done well. What stand out about them are their price and the quality of the tree.

Tree Service, Landscaping
The palm trees we requested significantly varied from the requested height on delivery and two of the trees had very large gashes in the trunks. After trying to schedule installation for some time due to rain delays the trees were installed. The crew was not extremely professional as I saw one of the crew throw a lit cigarette into the hole dug for one of the trees. These issues aside, the trees were installed with a written one year warranty/guarantee.
Ten months later, a little more than a month before the warranty expired, one of our trees very rapidly died. I had an independent arborist confirm that the tree had a root problem that may have been due to faulty installation. I called this provider to request replacement as it was still under warranty. We were instructed by the owner, Nicholas "Nick" Tersigni,
to drive nearly 30 miles to St. Petersburg to inspect a replacement tree on the lot. When my wife and I arrived, Nick was not there to assist us, as promised, and the single staff member on the lot had no idea why we were there. After the staff member made several confused phone calls, we were shown one dead tree and another tree that was at least three times the size of the tree that died--not even worth planting. We were assured by the staff that they would order a tree of similar size and notify us immediately to schedule planting.
After several days of no word, then began a period two weeks of my wife calling nearly every day and being ignored or told to call back later. Finally, after nearly a dozen attempts to telephone the proprietor without success, we finally decided to file a complaint with the BBB. Once the owner received the complaint, he finally called to loudly and contentiously lectured me about the fine reputation of his business and asked why my wife and I filed the complaint. After an initially unproductive conversation, I was able to get Mr. Tersigni to promise that he would fulfill the warranty and replace the tree. He promised that they would email a photo of the tree so that we could approve it before delivery. Nearly ten days passed with no email or phone call. I emailed Mr. Tersigni three times afterward only to finally receive a reply that they would not do anything until my wife and I withdrew the BBB complaint, which he did not dispute at any time.
At present, after numerous phone calls, emails and several unfufilled promises, I still have a completely dead palm tree in my back yard that should have been replaced under warranty. This business absolutely refuses to either refund the purchase price or replace the tree. DO NOT do business with Palm Harbor Palms a/k/a St. Pete Bamboo.
