About us

Thank you for visiting the Gilrie Pools website. My name is Duane Gilrie and I'm a Jacksonville native and proud Vietnam veteran of the United States Air Force. I established Gilrie Pools in 1980 and have been building pools since 1977. A family-owned and operated business, we pride ourselves on treating our clients like family. We are committed to not only serving you, but our community. I was honored to donate time and materials to the restoration of one of the Ancient City's 19th century fountains, the Flagler Fountain, in beautiful downtown St. Augustine (pictured above.) Pool Construction and Installation, Deck and Porch Service
They started my pool in December 2016 and as of May 3, 2017 its still not finished. They only show up to work every two or three weeks. They will not answer my phone calls or respond to voicemail or text. I'm so frustrated with this whole process since they claim to be customer friendly. They were very responsive in the beginning trying to get my business but once they have your money they don't care if your project gets done or not. Looking to hire a lawyer to get completed according to contract.
