"Thank you so much for the great review! I hope you enjoy your new cabinets and countertops for years to come. Thank you for your business. Johnny Oldja"
"Thank you for the great review and for your business! It was a pleasure working with you and your husband and I hope you two enjoy your new living space for many years. Johnny Oldja"
"We never performed any work for this individual, and I actually refunded his money as I did not want his job or to work with him after meeting him several times. Services were not ever performed for this person. This individual called my showroom stating he wanted a quote for a tiny outdoor kitchen countertop and wanted to come in that day. I told him the best way to get an actual price today was to visit the showroom with his measurements and select a color. I informed him I had previously scheduled appointments, but my office manager would be able to assist him. He was irritated that I could not personally meet him and didn't seem to understand the fact that I had appointments already scheduled. It was also pouring rain when he arrived and all of our remnants are outside. He also was irritated that no one wanted to show him remnants in the middle of a thunderstorm. This entitled attitude was the first clue that he was going to be a problem customer. This individual did visit the showroom and selected a color called Copacabana. This is a level four color that normally retails for $75.00 per sf. We gave him a price of $50.00 per sf, which is a $25.00 per sf discount since it was a remnant piece of granite. He told my office manager to talk to me and see if I could lower the price. I said no as that was already a good enough price and he could take it or leave it. He decided to go with it and he signed the contract and paid the deposit. I have no clue where this individual is coming up with a price of $40.00 per sf. The only granite that costs $40.00 per sf is an entry level color, which would be a level one granite. We informed him of this, but this guy clearly only hears what he wants to hear. He continually argued with us the throughout the entire process and when he called with even more complaints after the template I told my office manager to refund his money so we could get rid of him. Within an hour this guy goes and writes negative reviews were all over the internet. Good thing we got rid of him."
"Thank you for the great review. We appreciate your business! Johnny Oldja"
"Dishonest and unprofessional hardly describes our company. In this particular case, we cut one waterfall edge incorrectly, so we promptly corrected our mistake. We immediately re-cut another piece, which looked perfectly acceptable. The customer and her husband rejected this first piece because they did not like the pattern. The pattern on the first replacement looked perfectly acceptable as I saw it myself before it left the fabrication shop. Since the first replacement piece was rejected, we again tried to satisfy the customer and cut another replacement piece. Prior to installing the piece, my installation crew showed it to the homeowner for approval. The piece was accepted after inspection by the homeowner, so it was installed that day. Nothing was installed without the homeowner first inspecting and accepting it first. The final payment was given to the installation crew after they installed the 2nd replacement piece as the customers were satisfied and the job was completed. This customer even called our showroom that same day to tell us how great the piece looked and how happy they were with our work. Approximately two weeks later, we received a call stating that they no longer liked the piece because somebody had come to the house and found a seam at the bottom of the waterfall. I reminded this customer that we brought the piece out to them to inspect prior to installation. There was a seam added about 1" from the floor because it was necessary to make the pattern the way the customer requested it. The seam was so good the customer could not even see it even when they were looking directly at it. Just the fact that someone else noticed it weeks later upset them and caused them to no longer like the piece. Even with the seam, the 2nd replacement piece looked great and if it didn't, it never would have been accepted in the first place. Now this woman has gone on a social media crusade to try to slander my business on every forum she can find after accepting our granite. Johnny O"
"Thank you so much for the great report. This was a full kitchen remodel with many scopes of work as described above. We also designed and installed a bar area as well as a laundry room. It was a large project and everything went smoothly from start to finish. It is a pleasure to have such great customers to work with. Thank you for your business and this great report. Johnny Oldja"
"The first job we did for this customer approximately 8 years ago was a granite countertop installation. I do not remember the exact details, but it sounds as though a field modification had to be made for one reason or another. This is an acceptable method for making a better fitting product in all trades of construction. It is commonly done in cabinetry, carpentry, plumbing, countertops and all other trades of construction work. When cutting is performed onsite we always have an installer standing there holding a strong shop vacuum with an attached filter. It is possible a small amount of dust will escape, but we always are aware of containing it to the best of our abilities. This recent project turned out looking great when we were finished with the job. My saw operator did make a mistake on a bar area and cut the top too short. It does not happen often, but when it does we correct the situation. I took full responsibility for the mistake and told her we were going to replace it, which is exactly what I did. I put the new top into production immediately and we returned two days later with the new top. The cabinets were not at all late. They were installed at exactly the time I told the contractor they would be installed. The hardware was not onsite the day we planned on installing it. Our Terms and Conditions are clear in stating that all customer provided materials must be onsite and in installable condition at the time they are needed. If they are not, we charge a remobilization fee, since we then have to return for an extra day of work that was not budgeted/paid for. The picture posted in this review is of the miscut countertop before we replaced it. In the spirit of fair reporting, how about posting a picture of the final kitchen? A one star review for this project is totally uncalled for and extreme to say the least. Thank you for your business. Johnny Oldja"
"Thank you for the great report! This was a full remodel located on [Member Information Removed] which consisted of moving the kitchen from its current location to an adjacent room. This consisted of moving the water supply lines and drain for the sink as well as relocating a fair amount of electric. As stated, we completed the job within the estimated time frame and the finished kitchen was beautiful. Thank you again for your business and I hope you two enjoy your new living space. Johnny Oldja"
"Thank you for the great review! We appreciate you supporting small, locally owned business and are glad to hear you are happy with our work. Johnny Oldja"
"Thank you for your business and the good review. Johnny Oldja"
"Im sorry you feel this way about my company, but this report is just not accurate. I just pulled your job file and saw you were a customer of ours originally in 2014 and then again in 2016. Your first contract was signed 10/29/2014 and your second contract (after your flood) was signed 6/6/2016. This leaves two years of time in between our project and your incident. Two years of time can hardly be considered "JUST" finishing your kitchen. If your flood had anything to do with our work, it surely would have happened sooner than two years. This is clearly a case of a faulty pipe rather than a result of our remodel. If we were as bad as you state, why hire us again? When I am unsatisfied with a company, the last thing I would do is to give them additional business. Since you have decided to write this review 3 years after the work took place, I am not sure if there is anything I can do to change your mind, but if so please let me know. I do not like to have any unsatisfied customers so if I can help you at all please let me know. Thanks for your feed back. Johnny Oldja"
"Thank you so much for the wonderful review! I really appreciate you trusting my company with your kitchen remodel and Im glad to hear you were happy with our service and final product. I hope you two enjoy your new living space for many years. Thank you again for shopping local and supporting small business! Johnny Oldja"
"Thank you for your business and the great review. This was another full remodel that consisted of new cabinets, which included a semi custom navy blue island and Pompeii Misterio quartz countertops. We also installed installed a tile backsplash in the kitchen and connected all the plumbing. The bathroom project consisted of a new vanity and countertop along with connecting the sinks. The job was flawless and resulted in another satisfied customer. Thank you for choosing Oldja Enterprises Kitchen and Bath for your remodeling needs. Johnny Oldja"
"Thank you for the great review! This was a full kitchen remodel we performed on a beautiful water front home on St Pete Beach. Our contract consisted of redesigning the kitchen layout, selling and installing the cabinetry, closing off existing door ways along with modifying a full wall into a peninsula. Oldja Enterprises relocated all the electric from the modified walls, installed recessed lighting, under cabinet lighting and installed all the appliances. We also fabricated and installed a beautiful granite countertop and connected the sink and all appliances. This resulted in a beautiful new kitchen for another satisfied client. Thank you for trusting my company for your kitchen remodeling needs. Johnny Oldja"
"Im sorry you feel that way about my company. Fortunately, reports like this are extremely rare as we do everything within reason to keep our customers happy. Unfortunately, everything within reason was not going to make this couple happy. After many negotiations without any progress we both finally agreed to allow an "expert" to assess the situation. Although the expert should have been neutral, I was even accommodating to the point of allowing this couple to choose the expert. Since the job was substantially complete (meaning the punch list had not yet been completed), I even agreed to allow their expert to create his own punch list that I agreed to complete. Once the list was completed, I was to be paid the remaining balance due on the contract. Apparently, this couple was not happy with the list their expert made either because they then broke this deal. This couple refused to listen to us as professionals or their own expert. Subsequently, we were not allowed to finish the punch list and I was basically ripped off for around $6000.00. To top it off, this duo then went on a social media crusade to trash my companies reputation by posting negative reports on every forum available. The fact that this couple started writing negative reports about my company in the middle of negotiations is an even greater testament to their lack of reasoning. I did my due diligence and offered every solution possible, but this was just a duo nobody was going to please. Johnny Oldja"
"Thank you for the great report! This was another full kitchen remodel where Oldja Enterprises was responsible for all work from demolition through appliance installation. For this particular project we designed the new cabinet layout, removed the existing kitchen, installed new cabinets and fabricated and installed new quartz counter tops. We then connected the plumbing and appliances and installed a full quartz back splash that matched the counter tops. There was a wall behind the refrigerator that had an outdated brick look, so we re-textured the wall to make it look new. The job took approximately 3-4 week from start to finish and the new kitchen turned out beautiful. I appreciate you choosing my company for your remodeling needs. Johnny Oldja, owner"
"Reviews such as this are such a nice benefit of working in the remodeling industry. Florida, in particular is known for its abundance of lousy contractors. It is always wise to check reviews prior to deciding on who to hire. I personally field measure all jobs and all of our crews have been with the company for years. We also offer professional kitchen design services in addition to a large showroom and onsite stone yard where we also fabricate and then install all our own counter tops (granite, marble and quartz). When you hire Oldja Enterprises for your kitchen remodeling needs you will have an experienced general contractor who finishes work in the agreed upon time frame and who is always working with your best interest in mind. Our hundreds of "A" reviews speak for themselves. Thank you very much for trusting my company for your kitchen remodel and I hope you enjoy your remodel for years! Johnny Oldja CGC1517184"
"Thank you for choosing my company for your kitchen remodeling needs. This project was another one of our specialty projects, which is where we perform all scopes of work from start to finish. This means Oldja Enterprises is the only contractor customers have to deal with. We are responsible for all scheduling and coordination between the different trades which we are able to self perform with our own crews. We fulfill these services under my General Contractor's License #CGC1517184. Thank you again for your business and for the excellent review. Johnny Oldja"
"What makes this a very special report is the fact that the customer who wrote it is a two star general with the United States Army! What a great testimonial to have on my company! Oldja Enterprises was responsible for the kitchen design, cabinet sales & installation and granite countertop fabrication and installation. The design for this kitchen also included a bar area, which added a nice touch to the overall design. Please read his review on my company as above as it describes the process perfectly. Thank you very much for your business! Johnny Oldja"
"Thank you so much for the excellent review. This was a turn key kitchen remodel in which Oldja Enterprises was responsible for demolition, kitchen design, cabinet sales and installation, quartz countertop fabrication and installation, lighting, electric and plumbing. This customer is a college professor at SPC who had done quite a bit of research on what she wanted and on our company. She knew the look she was after and we were able to complete the project as outlined in our contract in a timely and professional manner. I am grateful for your business and the great report. Thank you, Johnny Oldja"
