Garrett came on Monday morning to start the job. The line had been marked and went under my garage floor, so they had to trench out through the concrete. They told me up front that the entire job could take three days. So, they very carefully cut the trench and started breaking up the concrete. Note, that my start date is in August, so this was very hot work. Day two they completed getting rid of the concrete and unearthing the sewer line. The found it was ABS piping and that when the house was built it was laid OVER the footer of the house and out to the takeout. This was a major problem as when they considered going under the footer the pipe did not meet the line out to the city connection. At, that point they had to reassess, call in the city to see where their pipe was underground, call the proper people to mark all the lines, as the power, cable, phone and sprinkler lines were all in the same place. They had started the process of digging, by shovelful, no mechanics, and had to continue that process. To make things more complicated, they had to go under my french drain. Dave and Jack were wonderful. In spite of all of the complications and the heat, they were cheerful and detailed. On day three, I believe, it was it passed inspection by the city and they finished the work of closing it in on day four. I am very pleased to have the problem corrected and to know that that issue will never arise again.Thank you Garrett Plumbing!

They first tried routing from the roof because our clean-out was buried and we couldn't find it, but after adding a lot of extra cable Steve finally reached a block in the back yard that couldn't be resolved with that machine. He came back the next day, installed a clean-out and used the stronger, larger router fed through the new clean-out. He was able to break through the block and reach into the city sewer connector line. It was expensive, but I'm happy to pay for a solution to an ongoing inconvenience and money trap. Garrett charges by the hour. Here they worked quickly and well and they're going to follow through with the City to discuss their sewer line. I've been looking for a reliable, honest plumbing company for years and I'm happy to have finally found one.

Another plumber left me in the lurch twice. Called Garret at 11:30AM and asked for someone by 2PM. Jeremy arrived at 2PM sharep and was done in 30 mins. Super nice guy and a pro!.

Called. Made appointment. Came on time. Did the work. Very professional, friendly. I paid. He left.

We have not always had good luck when it came to plumbers but can highly recommend Garrett's Plumbing. We have used this company for a couple of years now for multiple plumbing needs from installing a garbage disposal, clearing drains and working on outdoor plumbing etc. We use them for our rental properties as well as our primary residence. They have always been professional, reliable, have come on short notice when necessary and have been available for advice on multiple occasions. If there is a less expensive solution they are quick to tell us. That kind of advice is rare and well appreciated! In the years we have used them we had only one small issue and it was fixed immediately with no hassles. We would recommend them to anyone and will continue to use their services in the future.

Very pleased with the service. Called at 4:30 on Saturday, got a call back within 30 minutes. Jeremy was very professional and arrived within an hour. Although I'm rating the price a "B" the service was complete, on a Saturday, in under 2.5 hours, premiums should be expected for immediate service....but then everything these days seems to cost more. I've used Garrett Plumbing in the past(before Angie's list) and will use them again.

In all instances, I called them and described problem, they came when they said they would and fixed the problem.

It ended up costing more than the estimate so that was a bit disappointing. But the job was a little more involved than they thought it would be.

They went in with cameras and they found a blockage in front of my place. They figured out what the problem was and took care of it. They’re good and I use them whenever I have a plumbing problem. Their price is within what is usually charged in the community. Plumbers by and large are not inexpensive but when you need a plumber, you need a plumber.

They charge by the hour, and the price just seemed to be too expensive. They were not able to come out when I needed them to without charging me time and a half. I decided not to use them.

Garrett plumbing sent out an estimator who reviewed the job and provided a quote on the spot. I liked the proposal so I agreed and was able to get on their schedule within 2 days. The plumbers that came out were very professional. They treated my home with respect, ensuring plastic covering was on the floor and cleaning up before leaving. They arrived on time, they completed the work within the time that was quoted and everything seemed very smooth.

They came out quick and it was all done well. It was a little pricey but they fixed it right away. We would possibly use them again.

I found the company in Angie's list very quickly. I selected them because they had the A rating and were relatively close to my home. I called on a weekend and a message was taken by a message service. I received a call on Monday morning promptly at around 8:00 AM. A technician came that afternoon within the time window I had requested and did the required repair in about 45 minutes. He was friendly and competent. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was friendly and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone.

They did a good job installing a new kitchen faucet, water filter and soap dispenser, though they did have to come back to finish sealing the water filter tap against the sink. However they did not service my instantaneous water heater like they said they would. So I will have to find some one else for that.

OK, I do question the taking of the old core. My understanding is that Moen has a lifetime guarantee with free replacement. I was charged for the part.

The plumber told me that he had 30 years of experience and quickly diagnosed the air and rusty water problem. He said the main water supply to the house had been shut off and when it was turned back on we had not let the water run long enough to clear the lines. He turned on all the faucets in the house and the hot water was soon running normally. Replacing the kitchen faucet did not go as well. It took a very long time to get the old faucet out. He worked very hard at it and in the end he had to use a saw to cut it apart. Then he worked an extremely long time trying to install the new faucet, finally giving up and saying that it could not be done because the hole in the corian sink had been cut too large. In his installation attempts he damaged the new faucet. He said I could still return it to the home improvement store, but I do not think that is fair because it is not the store's fault that it would not work on our sink. I understand that the hole in the sink is too large for that particular faucet (apparently it is larger than standard) however I believe that a plumber with 30 years of experience should have been able to see that when dry-fitting it before spending so much time attempting to install it and damaging it in the process. The plumber told me to get a different faucet and they would return to install it with no service charge, just labor charge, but I am going to use a different plumber to complete the job.

After an unsuccessful attempt with drain cleaner and accidentally flooding my bathroom, laundry room and kitchen in the process, I called Garrett Plumbing. Thankfully, they were able to send someone within a few hours. I cleaned up all the water while waiting for them to come. The service man was courteous and capable. He checked a toilet and tub in another part of the house and they were clogged, too. A brief search for the clean out pipe turned up nothing so he worked from the roof instead in the midday heat. The drain was eventually unclogged and after several rounds of toilet flushing everything was flowing again. The service man was very nice and gave me a lesson about the dangers of drain cleaners, especially the kind I was using, by showing me several scars on his arms where he had been burned by them. I have used Garrett Plumbing in the past have always received great service.

The whole experience was prompt and pleasant. I have used Garrett before and certainly would use them again.

Kitchen drain was clogged. Called Garrett Plumbing and they were able to get someone here quickly. (Within 2 hours they had someone here.) He ended up using the snake to unclog the drain. Drain is now opened and running water through with no problems. The plumber was pleasant and efficient. Explained what was wrong and what needed to be done. Cleaned up after himself. We would call them again if needed.

The person that came out did a professional job, as far as I know. He dug outside where the "clean-out pipe" should have been, with no success, and eventually used his snake from the system vent on the roof and found the snag, and overcame it with the snake. He said I was just lucky that it turned out that way. I went by Home Depot later and described the action to a guy in the plumbing department, and he agreed that I was lucky that he found it through the roof vent--he verified that the standard way was to do what the plumber had proposed--find the clean-out pipe and do it that way. However, the bill I paid seemed high to me for an hour's work, with no materials used other than the electric snake, which he didn't leave behind, of course. I was charged $40 for that, plus $46 for the service call and another $92 for an hour's labor. That seems excessive to me, but again, I didn't ask for an estimate ahead of time. It's the $40 for the use of the snake that I really question--that should seem like part of the deal.

We bought a serious fixer upper. We moved in, but because of the rusted out water heater we could not turn on the water. We needed help fast! This is the company to call for any kind of major work. They have the manpower to get out and take care of it quickly. The estimator came out first thing Monday morning, and by the end of the day we were able to take a hot shower. The next day they came out and gave us the laundry hookup. Outstanding service.

I called my favorite plumber but he couldn't make it for about five days so I called Garrett. I've worked with Garrett before and they did a good job.
