"Thank you so much, it was our pleasure working with you!"
"We are so sorry to hear all of these problems. John offered you $100.00 off your bill if you wanted to run to Home Depot and pick him up the 2 bags he needed to finish out the day. you all were home daily so he thought maybe you wouldn't mind the trip....You certainly could have said no, that was a choice made by you. John tells everyone as he did you on the day of your estimate that the house would need to be sealed prior to painting. We are not sure what your age has to do with anything, but you all didn't appear elderly at all. Melissa sends out receipts for all jobs the last week of the month, if you were in a hurry for a receipt you could have asked for one prior to Johns departure, he has a receipt book in his truck. We are sorry if your grass has turned brown, but rest assured it will bounce right back. We are sorry that you had just pressure washed your driveway, if you had said something John could have gladly parked it in the street or the grass. And we are so sorry that you were offended by any political or religious differences that you may have had. Rest assured we take our reviews very seriously, and as you can see by our prior reviews we rarely have any complaints, which is probably why you hired us in the first place. We are however glad that you are happy with the end product, and we greatly appreciate your business!"

John is a highly conscientious professional who takes great pride in his craft. This is the second time we've hired him. He is neat, works quietly, is very accommodating and truly goes the extra mile. He gives you his honest opinion, which we deeply appreciate.
John gave me an estimate of the time it would take and he was right on.
We would absolutely hire him again.

"Thank you for the review! We see you gave us a "B" on the price. Hopefully, you were able to get some other estimates to compare us to ahead of time. We always pride ourselves on staying price competitive. It was a pleasure working with you!!!! Thank You!"

Sunday came and there were no issues. He showed up, covered the walls and any furniture, we talked about which cracks he was going to address, and he got to work. He took the time to explain to my family what exactly he was doing, and gave us a few pro tips. I could tell he took no shortcuts, and went the extra mile to make sure his repairs were blended correctly and would stand the test of time.
I rarely write reviews, but this man and his wife have got a good thing going. They have a positive energy and are reliable/consistent, which is rare in the home repair world. I only wish I had an electrician, plumber, and GC version of John.

"Please go back and read our correspondence. At no point in our conversation did you mention that you wanted us to complete your work or that you were in a hurry. You stated that you would be here in "August" and asked us to give you an estimate on the 4th, 5th or 6th. We gladly agreed, and did just that. We do not block time on our schedule, until we are hired, because we don't get every job that we estimate. If you had been clear about what you actually wanted we would have bent over backwards to accommodate you. You never asked how far out we were booking, or clearly stated that you wanted to hire us to do your job or that it had to be done by a certain date. If you had called after Johns estimate and explained your dilemma we would have gladly accommodated you. When we left your job we just assumed that you were going with someone else. We did not state that John does his work in the late afternoon but that he does his estimating after work as he is the owner and does all of his own work and estimates. As you can see we have a A Plus reputation and strive hard to keep it that way, and to keep all our clients and potential clients happy. We would again ask that you go back and reread our conversation and consider removing this review. We are happy that you found someone to do your job, and that you saved money! :) But this review seems unfair, and based solely on a miscommunication as this is the first that we are hearing of it. Had you called us at the time, we could have made you happy. We can't make you happy if we don't know that you aren't. We apologize for any miscommunication on our part."
John arrived on time as scheduled. He quickly assessed the situation and got to work. He did a fantastic job of removing the water-damaged plaster and the horrible attempted DIY repair perpetrated by two home owners, who shall remain nameless. ( Much to his credit, he did not laugh too hard at our poor attempt to fix it ourselves! John is a master at knowing exactly what type of plaster to mix for the situation at hand and he was well-prepared with all necessary supplies. We were concerned that anybody would be able to do it, but John was able to make a very good match on our 1959 swirl-patterned plaster ceiling for the bedroom. We are ecstatic with the finished product!
John also fixed some exterior stucco where we had removed an old well housing, and some other minor stucco breaks. He did an excellent job of matching our old-style popcorn stucco. We are very pleased with the result.
On this visit, he also repaired water-damaged walls in our bathroom. These are plaster on concrete and concrete block walls ( gotta' love 1959 construction). John was supposed to fix the bathroom walls on the first visit when he fixed the bedroom ceiling and the exterior stucco. He was able to complete one wall, and it looks beautiful. However, once he knocked the old plaster out on the other wall, he found the wall to be very wet from an unidentified leak. He helped us find the source of the leak in a join near the porch roof and main house, and recommended a good sealer. It was necessary to fix the leak and let the wall thoroughly dry for several days in order for John to complete the repair. So John packed up his tools for the day, and had us schedule a follow-up appointment with his office manager (wife), who is very pleasant and professional as well.
After the leak was repaired and wall dry, we scheduled John to complete the repair. Once again, he arrived as scheduled and did a wonderful, professional job. My bathroom walls look terrific!
John is extremely professional, organized, neat and very nice too. We highly recommend him to anyone in need of plaster repair work. It is very difficult to find someone who can do REAL PLASTER WORK, but it was our lucky day when we located John on Angie's List! Thank you again for a job well done, John!
"WOW!!! Thank you so much for an amazing review! We greatly appreciate your kind words. It was truly our pleasure working with you."
